There are some fantastic montages of each season that I found and wanted to post here. The clips are short, very well put together, with excellent music choices. Check em out AND pay special attention to Season 4 (my absolute fav) which features Anne-Marie Johnson as Alycia Barnett :D

The first season: everyone was so NICE, so INNOCENT. :D until Amanda showed up

The fourth season: starts off with a BANG. Kristin Davis and Anne Marie Johnson join the cast and most everyone gets an image make over. everything is amped

The fifth season: everyone calms down, well ALMOST everyone. many longtime characters depart the show...some in very sad ways. Alyssa Milano & Lisa Rinna join the cast

The sixth season: the shortest season and the most forgettable. the reigning queen bitch seems to soften, the men seem to get even more stupid. Several more longtime cast members depart.

Interesting... I never watched the show, yet the scenes are quite interesting, even though I can't connect them to anything...
 
really? you NEVER watched it? MP was THE SHOW of the 90's...originally billed as a "spin off" of 90210, it went on to ECLIPSE its parent show by the mid 90's. Heather Locklear, Marcia Cross (currently seen as "Bree" on Desperate Housewive) , Courtney Thorne-Smith and many other actors/actresses helped to make that show a tremendous hit. It's still fondly remembered to this day.

it's credited for influencing fashion in the 90s (namely making it acceptable for women to wear extremely short skirts and show off bare legs in the office) and raised the popularity of "catfights" and being "BITCHY" to whole new heights.

there's a few MP fans on this board like myself, Vil, Persephone, Foxfire and Prophet.
 
I know what it was, I simply never watched. In fact, I never dated anyone who watched it at that time. Besides, I'm a sports,politics and science nut. I watch mostly games, news and science documentaries. Always have.
 
so YOU must've been among the MANY men who grumbled with annoyance when Fox made the now historic descision to move Melrose from Wednesdays to MONDAYS @ 8 pm, and BUMPING "monday night football" for the 6 years it remained in that time slot LOL! i remember alot of guys i knew complaining about it (but surprisingly there were alot of straight guys who also admitted to enjoying MP too)
 
Honestly, I did not notice. I simply watched MNF when it came on at 9. It was consistently the top-rated show in the country at that time...

That is what I find so fascinating. Two of your favorite shows (Melrose Place and Charmed) I have probably watched 5 hours tops in my lifetime. Mostly to look at Alyssa...
