BBC News - Megaupload file-sharing site shut down

-----------------

Um does this seem more than a mere coincidence that this happens just as the massive protests against SOPA & PIPA were making congress back off those bad pieces of legislation?

[Black King]

this is separate from SOPA, the FBI have been planning this one for a while but the internet is still up in arms over this. While there is a great deal of copyright content on megaupload even some artist have come out and said they don't care. It's a good website that has promoted their careers. This is an example of the US government being used as the police win of the RIAA.
