Catfights that made history! :nod:

Everyone knows that Dynasty was a fabulous soap...but what most people remember are the CATFIGHTS! Krystal vs. Alexis; Alexis vs. Dominique; Sammy Jo vs. Fallon even Alexis vs. Dex (yes, the men had catfights with women and each other too lol) and now, for your viewing (and posting) pleasure, I have found some of the BEST catfights from Dynasty!

starting with:

Alexis ( Joan Collins) vs. Dominique ( Diahann Caroll)

Diahnn fondly remembers when she approached Aaron Spelling about being on Dynastay, she was quoted as saying

LOL, everyone loves a good catfight. That one was just funny how they kept panning down to them kicking each other in the leg. lol
 
That was kind of ridiculous lol.. Every catfight in Dynasty started with "You Bitch!" SLAP!

They just roll around on the ground, any decent woman would be knocking that bitches head into tables and shit lol...
 
but that's whats FUNNY about them...how the women struggle with each other, pull hair, tear each other's clothes and roll around on the ground. :haha:

Dynasty was also the first show where the word "Bitch" was used on television without being edited out by censors.
 
That's the point of Dynasty though, the women weren't common types. They were supposedly stuck up and never got into many fights before. Therefore seeing them roll around is the most comical aspect of it all. That, plus it was the 80s.
 
the catfights were so dramatic that they became funny and not only that...who would want to see divas like Joan and Diahann fighting "like MEN" in their expensive outfits? it wouldnt have matched the tone of the show (as Sebastian stated)

Krystle won this fight hands down. Alexis got a few nice shots in but the winner is the person standing at the end.
 
God I am surprised Joan Collins survived the 80's lol.. every one of these catfights I have seen she gets her ass kicked lol!

Plus the line at the end "If you wanna rematch, just whistle... if ya can!" was great! And you have to love Linda's hair!
 
Poor Alexis....and yet, she's considered the supreme diva bitch of prime time television for all time. Entertainment Weekly coined the phrase "bitch goddess" when describing Joan Collins/ Alexis Carrington.

I think the one fight she came CLOSE to winning was the one with Dominique, but just about every fight she had with Krystle, she lost...at least she got some good hits in...most of the time LOL :haha:


ive got another clip coming that shows the ultimate soap cliche....a character versus her "evil twin sister" :haha:
 
LOL! You have got to put the most famous ones up too.. Sammi Jo in the watering hole by the horses and Krystle and Alexis in the pond lol.
 
Krystle and her evil twin, Rita

Sammy Jo, Krystle's neice, has Rita to impersonate Krystle in an attempt to wrest control of Sammy Jo's inheritence from Krystle.

Rita does a poor job of imitating Krystle and eventually rushes right into the path of the "real mccoy". a fight ensues.

Oh jesus! That was hysterical! So many odd characters! Krystle fighting herself.. an awful outfit with Sammi Jo and that scary guy at the end who is all orange and scary now!

All in all that was probably the best one yet!
 
lmaooo, that one between Krystal and Alexis was awesome. They totally went at it! It's funny how in every soap opera, the 'supreme bitch' is always the one that gets their ass kicked in fights. lol.

my mom actually met Linda Evans back in the 80's. she said she was very nice but sooo sooo skinny.
 
the MEN do it too!

Women werent the ONLY ones to catfight on Dynasty! Some MEN did it too!

here we see Alexis vs. Dex, one of her MANY husbands and perhaps her most passionate lover.

He finds her having an affair with another man and tells her just how unhappy he is...that's when it begins.

UNFORUNATELY the only decent clip i could find of this scene is dubbed in GERMAN, but you'll get the gist of it.
