Man hunt for ex-soldier who shot police chief's daughter and killed policeman | World | News | Daily Express

This story is fucked up on a variety of levels. Nobody is mentioning that the cops he targeted were CROOKED/CORRUPT. Now I'm not saying *I* agree w/ what he did, but I do think the story is not being completely told. I think there's more to it than what's been told & now the LAPD wants the public's help in trying to find him- hence the million dollar bounty on his head. They don't want to catch him. they want to KILL him. flat out.

W/in the last 24 hrs it was reported that drones are now being used in the manhunt for him, but they were ALREADY being used in the Big Bear area. That's why the LAPD cops are out there shooting @ ppl w/out any regard for the fact they're targeting the WRONG make/model/color cars & ppl! two women were hospitalized as well as a man, who was critically injured & the police are not being held accountable for it! it's like OPEN SEASON for them. The LAPD is notorious for corruption but suddenly this 1 man is such a threat that he warrants drones being let loose in residential areas & the police going out shooting ppl @ random? seriously...something's not adding up here. :sure:

I only heard that Charlie said he should call him. Didn't check out the link to get the details though.

In the article i read nobody mentioned crooked cops, it said he killed a cop, and a cop daughter and her boyfriend.

The fact that the police opened fire on people like that is fucked up beyond any recognition.

i hadnt heard/read that about charlie sheen yet but why would Dorner respond to that?as if this he would use a phone or a computer @ this point! he knows pretty much anything he does w/ communication will get him immediately caught.

can i just say it is just sad at this point there is no one even pretending they are trying to take him in alive in this at all

LOS ANGELES -- Murder suspect Christopher Dorner, a fired LAPD officer and a military veteran, has been officially declared a "domestic terrorist" for his alleged crimes. The terrorist label was announced during a press conference held on 2/10/2013 and was used again in a department memo issued to LAPD officers.

"This is an act of domestic terrorism," said Los Angeles Police Chief Charlie Beck.

Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa said in a press conference, "We will not tolerate this reign of terror that has robbed us of the peace of mind that residents of southern California deserve."

See...this is getting out of hand to me. First of all (& again, I do NOT agree w/ his alleged action) it seems like we're watching a live "test run" of "police state" in action. the REAL terror is not this man, but the fact that so far two women & a man who dont even REMOTELY fit the profile of the alleged shooter have been shot & put in the hospital & the police havent been held responsible for that.

This man wont get due process or a chance @ a trial. He's going to be shot dead on sight. They're using spy drones to try to find him...in residential neighborhoods. & all of this over what he MAY have done?

What about REAL killers like the one in Aurora Colorado or the one in Newton Conneticutt? What about REAL domestic terrorist groups like the kkk, stormfront or the tea party?

this is really getting to be a bit much for me.

I heard on the radio this morning that the guy's victims were random?

Even if they were corrupt, they don't deserve to be killed for it - that's just as troubling as the police in this situation.

All of it is troubling to me. I think that the record of this PARTICULAR police force should preclude their ability to tag anyone - especially on of their own - for death on sight. He KNOWS something IMO.

His manefesto was on FB & has since been circulated around the web. w/ the exception of the police chief's daughter, his targets were crooked cops. now again, I'm not saying I agree w/ what he may have done (though there has been no evidence to actually link him to these shootings & yet now he's a "domestic terrorist"). The LAPD should be gutted b/c its obvious that its corrupt from the bottom to the top but suddenly THIS man is the face of evil? i dont think so.

He may have snapped from everything that's happened.

I was listening to more updates about it on NPR this morning & the Mayor & current chief of police saying "we want to find a way to....end this". you could clearly hear they had to stop & THINK about how best to say it b/c they know what they really want to do & it's NOT to "arrest him & let him have his day in court" like the one guy said during the press conference this morning.

how come law enforcement isnt this "hands on" when it comes to these mass shooters/murderers who its PROOVEN they did what they did? :eyeroll:

im still really bothered by the fact that 3 random INNOCENT ppl have been shot by the POLICE, two were hospitalized in bad condition & there seems to be no concern or accountability. how the hell do you mistake two petite asian women for a large 200+ lb black man just b/c they're driving a "similar" looking truck?

I think he must know some explosive things too. why else would they be doing all this for 1 man? They're not telling the whole story & THAT'S what is bothering me too.

Well, again, it's not for this guy to decide who's a crooked cop or who lives and dies. But it doesn't sound to me from the articles that I've been reading that he's been shooting at the crooked cops he's after, but officers protecting them and others randomly.

I guess they've found him:

Fugitive former police officer Christopher Dorner allegedly shot and wounded at least two San Bernardino County sheriff's deputies during a shootout with authorities in the Big Bear area Tuesday afternoon, sources said.

Dozens of law enforcement officers were racing to the last reported scene of a gun battle near the 7 Oaks cabin area near Big Bear.

“There are deputies everywhere on the ground and on foot," said Cindy Bachman, a San Bernardino County sheriff's spokeswoman.

The shooting occurred after Dorner burglarized a home, tied up a couple and stole a white pickup truck, sources said.

oh wow...a white pick up truck. i just had a bad sense of de ja vu.
the sad thing is that this won't change ANYTHING when it comes to the LAPD & they (along w/ state & federal law enforcement) will use this as an excuse to bulldoze over civil liberties & rights as they see fit.

Dorner was right about the corruption of the LAPD but he was most certainly WRONG for killing innocent ppl. I'ts just sad. there are no "winners" here & when he's dead (either by his own hand or theirs) they will crow about it & continue to go on brutalizing & murdering ppl & getting away w/ it.

im still harping on the use of drones & the shooting of innocent ppl by the police during the man-hunt. a very bad precedent has been set & i can't help but think about the NDAA as they declared him a "domestic terrorist".
