Madonna VS Lady Gaga now?

Is Lady Gaga a Madonna copycat?

Madonna is reportedly griping to friends that Lady Gaga is jacking her style. Might the senior diva be onto something? Could a catfight be brewing, as in their joint "Saturday Night Live" skit?

Let's examine the evidence.

I said she was trying to be Madonna from day one lol

Yeah, no surprise there. Her Alejandro video was like a carbon copy of Express Yourself with other elements thrown in.

I read that she used actual set pieces from Madonna's "VOGUE" video in "Alejandro" as well. Her wikipedia entry has NUMEROUS references to Madonna also.

I do like Lady Gaga, I felt that she has true talent BUT to so balatantly JACK Madonna's style (not to mention Grace Jones) and then claim "not to boast but i'm trying to revolutionize pop music the way madonna did 25 years ago" ....it makes it all seem the more obvious.

but at the same time, Britney Spears, Christina Aguilera and Gwen Stefani were all compared to Madonna as well and none of them has endured as long as Madonna.
