But other than the lack of six forum, I like the new layout. I definitely think it's better and less crowded with old forums.

Has anyone taken into consideration taking the subforums out of the six and putting them on the main page? Or are we just going to stick with what we had?
 
Well though I didn't really think that was necessary, with the Six in it's own category, I'm not opposed to that.

I just want to confirm that we don't want to try hiding the comics subforums for a while - I'm just worried it might be a little daunting.

PS I just used a placeholder icon for EE so I could set up the code for it. :)
 
for the icon for the EE, how about something like this ? I've always liked the binary code effect. but if you can think of anything similar or more in keeping with the ones you already have, thats fine with me. just make it look good :p

i like having the subforums in side the six...keeping them seperate from the open playing threads especially OOC and Arcane Archives. everything is clearly labeled and described and so readers know where to go to look for info. Lets leave that as it is.

i like the new lay out as well. moving things around and cleaning up a bit was a great idea! i'm glad I thought of it! :D lol! j/k

I merged them. Is there a reason to separate movie news from other entertainment news? If we were going to do that then might as well leave it in the movie forum...but I do think things will get lost there.

right, i was just saying i think they should remain the way they are rather than moving them to the main page.

and yeah, i was just checking to see how you had done it. i think its fine to have upcoming movie news merged with enterainment news, ill just change the description of EE a little bit to reflect that. :)
 
ive always thought GG belonged inside of Moonlight lounge, because it was another way for people to mingle and have fun together. If BK wants it, then make him the mod over it and just unhide it from where it was, inside of ML.
 
Well as you know, I'm kind of leery of subforums because they usually get ignored...I know it's counter-intuitive, but true lol

Vil, I just saw the Gossip Girl Redux scheme you made for Lexi....if you want, I can make a totally different banner to blend into the background color so it looks seamless. :) I've been dying to try out my new software in depth!

Also, I was thinking of making an Eclipse scheme....but that is if you have the time to assist. :)

Whatever you want to do about the GG thing is fine - I only did that because Lexi said she liked it. But she doesn't seem thrilled by it anyway lol! I tried all I could to blend that banner into the background but I have no skills, so whatever you feel like doing is fine by me :)

And hey, if you ever want to try out software with some SciFi styles, AD will gladly accept donations :D

and yeah, what kind of sci fi styles do you need? like movies or tv shows?
 
Both, either ;) We just haven't had any new ones in ages cause I sort of lost the person I had doing them lol. And we desperately need a new default one. We don't have ones for V, Vampire Diaries, Being Human or Fringe at all, and our Smallville and Supernatural ones are all old. ANd you know how the ones I do suck, so I've just not bothered.

As for replacing the New Moon banner, you know I'm not a fan of that, but since it's Twilight, I don't care :D :D :p :p
 
okay so how about 3 tv shows and 3 movies?

i don't know what your members are fans of, so suggestions would be helpful otherwise i'll do what i like and no one will probably use them LOL.

I edited my post above - doh - but the shows we have actual forums for are Smallville, Supernatural, Doctor Who, V, Vampire Diaries, Fringe, Being Human, and True Blood. I do have a couple good TB ones. I don;t have any V, Vampire Diaries or Fringe.

But really, anything that strikes your fancy is cool by me - beggars can't be choosers :D But like I said above I really need something I can use as a new default cause I don't like anything I have for that lol
 
for a default one, did you want something just general...kinda like our default scheme? or something like in the movie reel scheme where it's a couple of random sci fi shows/movies?
