Flash back with me for a second, please. The year was 1998 and one woman turned the world upside down. Lauryn Hill released one of the greatest albums ever with The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill. The rapping, singing, music-writing genius took home an album of the year award at the Grammys back when that award actually meant something and defined a generation with her music. Then it all fell apart.

Okay so the fact that Lauryn Hill is joining Twitter is not "news worthy" itself, but the writer does indicate why it could make for entertainment news later. This woman is bat shit insane. I remember her total meltdown/tirade during her performances at the Vatican, it happened during a christmas function and she went BALLISTIC. PERSONALLY i thought alot of what she said about the [catholic] church was on point but she was right up there w/ Sinead O'connor for the level of controversy she caused AND it was pretty damn funny. Lauryn hill will pop her cork in a minute and say some crazy things.
Whatever musical talent she has (its been 13 years..."miseducation" was good... but isnt it time for a REAL follow up!? LOL)
The writer also mentions somethings that would be GREAT to see, like her totally going off about/on Nicki Minaj and how today's female "rappers" SUCK. This is also the article that i noticed "Jean Grae" in and so I decided to post a thread about her to see if anyone else had heard of her.
