Sitting at the Ambrosia bar, it was late and Ava was the only person there. Nursing a glass of Cabernet, she stared at her phone seeing the text from Blaze saying that Morgan was back and to come to her apartment. As much as she was happy to know that Morgan was back for Blaze, Nicolas, and Karen's sake, she also knew it was going to stir up some huge problems with Delilah, and probably some other people as well. Morgan disappeared after the Blue Moon because of what happened with Delilah. Ava didn't blame her, but she also resented her for being able to just leave and not have to deal with the fall out of the mess. To this day Delilah still wanted nothing to do with Ava, yet Ava stayed through everything anyway. She went through her OWN trauma before the Blue Moon and she was FORCED to come back during the course of it in order to help protect her team and family. She had to stay after because Morgan left. She never got a break nor a breather. She continued forward despite her own suffering mental health, which in turn ended up hurting more people. So instead of a reunion, Ava opted for a drink.
"I'll take another."
The bartender nodded and topped off her glass.
"Thanks."
Picking up her phone, she knew Alison was fully aware of Morgan's return. But she also knew that despite Alison and Morgan being like sister, Morgan LEFT Alison to deal with the aftermath and the majority of Delilah's wrath. It wasn't fair, even if Alison wouldn't admit it.
Via text: You can't avoid me bitch, Haleigh's already doing enough of that for the both of you. Text me or "pop" in. Morgan's back.
Sending the text, Ava locked her phone and pushed it away while simultaneously dragging the glass of wine closer to her.
Bartender: "You alright Miss Cassadine?"
Ava gave him a forced smile.
"Yes, thank you Steven. It's just been a long day....and about to get a whole lot longer."
Lifting her glass, she saluted him a cheers before taking a long, hefty gulp of wine.
