I had a double bill last night Hellboy and Freddie V Jason god bless Sky Movies on a wet Thursday for entertainment :bunny: :alert:

The last movie I saw in theaters was Underworld 2, which I loved. I raved about it in the Underworld 2 thread. ;)

But I saw the new version of The Fog today which I was disappointed with. I liked the old version much better. This new version seemed more complicated and not enough centered on raw acting. I was left with a "it was okay" feeling.

Match Point. It wasn't like Woody Allen at first sight, but I liked it. It is a slap in the face and needed to be seen. I recommend to anyone!!!!

I saw Monster - In Law and loved it! Jane Fonda stole the show from J. Lo. This movie was very well portrayed and the lines were hilarious.

"And fix your damn hair, you look like a damn cockateal." LMAO!!! I had to rewind that scene. :p

I just watched the Brady Bunch Movie lol.. and I love it! Memorable Quotes:

Jan: "I don't want to move..I'll have to make new friends..."

Marcia: "Jan.. you don't have any friends.."

=====================================

Doreen: Marcia, you're the most beautiful girl in the school...

Marica: I know, but how can I use my good looks and sparkling personality to raise money and save the house? I know.. I'll become a Teen Model!

Crash-the oscar winning one (there was another film named "Crash" as well, Cronenberg's), don't know if I liked it or not; the film semed to be proving the cliches therefore making them the exact truths but on the otherhand by proving the cliches, it can as well being provacative.

You know if you liked it or not, you just need to decide whether you want to be one of those people that gives the "film school" answer or not.
Last movie I saw at the theaters was Underworld2, loved the heck out of it. The last movie I bought an watched was Doom and the Fog. I liked Doom, but the Fog was disappointing.

I saw an Irish independent film called Hill 16 that was made for only 20,000 pounds. It was pretty good for a first attempt - I'll be interested to see what the director (Dermot Doyle) does next with what he learned making this one. There are some editing problems, and the director did the music himself, and it could be recut (he said he cut the original version that was 2 hours 40 minutes into the final 1 hour 40 minute version, and tried to change it from a gang film to a teen comedy, and there's sort of a mismatch).

:)

as far as The Fog goes, you should've stuck with the original that was made in 1980.

What is it about?

:)

Teenage siblings Nenette and Boni were raised apart as a result of their parents' divorce. Their mother, who doted on her son Boni, has died. He works for an interesting couple as a pizza baker, and is surprised and enraged when his younger sister, having run away from boarding school, suddenly turns up. There's a problem that they must confront.

I saw a little bit of Monster the other night. I was too tired to entirely watch it all the way through.

I saw the part where the guy was going to rape her and she murdered him. I was blown away by how vicious it was. I'll have to watch it from the beginning to end.

It was a good movie. I was thrown that it was based on a true story. Too wild.
