SYDNEY, Australia (Reuters) -- Australian pop star Kylie Minogue returned to stage on Saturday for the first time since recovering from breast cancer, energetically belting out her trademark hits in front of a cheering, screaming crowd of thousands.

Dressed in feathers from head to toe, with an Australian cockatoo's plume on her head, she began her concert at the Sydney Entertainment Centre with an overture of her best-known songs before whipping into the single "Better the Devil You Know."

I'm definitely glad to see Kylie back on stage after recovering from Breast Cancer. I loved both of her newer albums, and even her music back in the 80's. She's still looking good for her age and I think she'll continue thriving in the music industry. I think her little sister Dani is taking after her, both sound exactly the same to me, its scary.

Its amazing to see these female celebrities battle breast cancer, recover, and return to performing. I was awe struck when Sheryl Crow came back after a grueling battle with the same cancer.

I majorly excited about Kylie coming back to the stage. My family also was touched with Breast Cancer (My grandmother has been a survivor for a year and a half.) So my heart really went out to her when she found out. These public battle really show that celebs aren't perfect and that breast cancer doesn't discriminate based on fame. It also shows that the cancer is beatable and it shows amazing strength. These women are wonderful role models for the future.

I saw her live in December. While the show was apparently shorter than it originally was, I still loved every minute of it! I had held onto the ticket for over a year since I was determined to see her perform ;) It would've been on her bday (May 28th), and the crowd sung Happy Birthday to her. She looked touched :D I'm really amazed how great a comeback she's made after what she's been thru. She's apparently releasing a new album in August (so she said at the concert) which should be awesome, if 'White Diamond' is anything to go by :hyper:
