GeekTyrant - News - First Look at January Jones as Emma Frost on the set of X-MEN: FIRSTCLASS!

doesn't look half bad but i wonder the context

Huh, I would of never thought of her as Emma Frost. I think that's actually a really good casting.

And the outfit isn't THAT bad. :p The hat just seems super tall to me lol.

that hat is ridiculous. The White Queen wore fur but usually it was a stole or collar/shoulder trim on her cape. of course there's no accuracy here, if the white queen had been an ADULT in the 60's she'd be in her 70's now in the comics.

I like the jacket and the boots but that hat is just awful. and of all the people to cast as the White Queen, I wouldnt have immediately thought of January Jones either, but all my pics for casting are deemed "too old" by hollywood standards now so <<shrug>>

That getup is awful. The White Queen is the epitome of cold sexiness. That is anything but.

Absolutely awful...I hope it is better when it is finished. But she did not stir me at all...and Emma Frost should stir me.

Sharon Stone imo was the best choice for the White Queen on the big screen. She's STILL got it at 50 and when you think about how the White Queen is portrayed now in Marvel...Sharon totally fits that persona and could pull it off.

I would agree if it were a modern movie with Emma in her 40s...but a First Class movie? MISTAKE

well to be fair, Sharon DID pull off playing a "young woman" in the 60's in the RFK movie a couple years back :p

Still I get what you're saying. I dont even know why they would include the White Queen in this. Timeline wise it's inaccurate but when were these movies ever known for their accuracy? LOL!

I'd rather see a follow up to the last X-men film which would definately have call for the White Queen as she is today.

cause the last X-men movies turned into Wolverine: The Movie, Wolverine The Movie 2 Electric Boogaloo and Wolverine The Movie 3 OR Die Hard so the reboot had to happen to refocus the movie on the actual x-men lol

wow this topic is old, not sure if anyone has seen the cast poster yet so feast your eyes and rage (until i find the high-res)
