So I'm sitting here watching From Russia With Love and was wondering......

Who's the best Bond?
Who's your favorite Bond?
What's the best Bond film?
What's your favorite Bond film?

etc. etc. ...............

My favorite Bond is also the one I think is the best, Sean Connery.
I can see him being a killer as well as a lady killer.

The best Bond film, Casino Royale (2006). Well paced and back to the basics last seen in Dr No.
My favorite Bond film................. You Only Live Twice. Great balance of the Bond Formula plus I think it managed to beat Goldfinger by a hair for me with the revealing of Bloefeld. Mike Meyer's got enough millage out of that one for three movies just lampooning it.

Connery by far. He defined the role. As for the films...

My Favorites:

From Russia With Love - Great all around. Love the boat chase sequence.

Goldfinger - So many classic moments, from Oddjob's hat throw to Pussy Galore.

On Her Majesty's Secret Service - I liked how it tied up the Blofeld plot and the way it tried to take 007 in a new direction by having him get married.

Man With the Golden Gun - Sure, it's Roger Moore as bond and that's never fun, but Christopher Lee is the big bad. How can you not like that?

The Spy Who Loved Me - Jaws!!!

Goldeneye - The tank scene through Russia is priceless. Plus, Sean Bean as Alec Trevelyan is awesome.

Casino Royale - Ruthless Bond rocks.

Ones I Hate:

Live and Let Die - If you ever wanted to see how racist Ian Flemming was, watch this movie.

Diamonds are Forever - Felt like a bit of a let down for some reason.

Octopussy - The only good thing about this movie is that we get to see Q in the field.

View to a Kill/The Living Daylights - The only Bond I hate more than Moore is Dalton. He was horrible in the role.

The Word is Not Enough - Whose idea was it to cast Denise Richards as a Bond girl? That was idiotic.

Although I thought Sean was sexy as 007 with his black hair, I really love Pierce more. So I voted for Pierce, I loved him in Goldeneye, Tomorrow Never Dies, and The World is Not Enough.

But, I get frustrated when they change Bond actors. Does anyone know why they do this?

I have a hard time seeing Daniel Craig as 007, I always thought 007 should have dark hair not blonde.

After a while the actors usual get tired of the role or simply feel its time to move on with their careers. I guess you hear people say if they got the role they never leave it but after a while i guess it becomes trying.

Daniel Craig was pretty good in Casino Royale, the Blonde Bond Shell actually worked out. now if only he dyed his hair or something.

Sean Connery! He was ever so sexy in his youth AND as Goldie Hawn's character, "Elise Elliot" said in the movie "First Wives Club"... "...he's 300 years old but he's STILL A STUD! LOL!

while roger moore is my favorite bond [i grew up with view to a kill/ octopussy on HBO as kid] my favorite bond movie is goldfinger. gert frobe is the best[though dubbed], dead gold girl, oddjob, decent enough plot, plenty of judo chops, eyeball reflection knockout and not to mention worlds funniest looking bomb.

worst bond ever: moonraker. so bad i love to watch it!

Worst bond ever - the original Casino Royale.

When I think of James Bond I imagine one of two people in the role... either the classic Sean Connery or the modern suave Pierce Brosnan. Either one works for me ideally. My favorite bond film tho has got to be Goldeneye!
