Hello ladies.

I just wanted to let you both know that I'm still alive, and that I've dealt with the situation that was upsetting me. :) when oh WHEN will people learn that even when the initial problem occurrs and though it may upset me or cause fear, i will NOT back down and i will NOT just fold up and let someone get the drop on me?! :rolleyes:

anyway, consider me back and thank you BOTH for calling me. i couldnt answer you because i was in the midst of addressing the situation but now that things are over and settling, I just wanted to tell you both thank you for your care and concern :) i appreciate you both.

ill tell you about it in the coming weeks. it involved a man at work...an asshole jerkoff who is a spineless piece of shit. and i think you know me well enough to know that in a "post Brandon" world (my ex fiance') i will NOT tolerate bullshit from any man.

I had to drop everything else so that i could deal with this fool full force on multiple fronts. It helped that i had my immediate supervisor AND department director (among others ) on my side @ work and i had people outside of work to help me as well.
 
That sucks....I'm glad that it's been handled though.

Don't feel like you need to jump into anything board related if you're not ready to. Me and Vil have everything under control if you just want to relax and enjoy the board rather than run it lol.
 
a rare treat! :D thank you! and it looks like you're doing an alternate universe storyline in the six.

you guys go on with what you're doing. when i'm ready , ill be able to start us in the current mainstream story with a small jump.

Yeah, we decided to do a post six alternate universe theme. The six are dead and now these teenagers have to basically take over where the six left off. It was just an idea everyone sort of put together so we could continue to RP, since we weren't sure how long you would be off the board. It's really fun! You should join in on it if you just want to have a little non-six fun. We're pretty much mastrixing it ourselves, so you could just enjoy where the story takes you rather than have to navigate it like you usually do. ;)
 
i was reading it! its very well done. :nod: there's a link to "the past" but this cast definately has its own identity and feel to it and i like how it focuses on Delilah being the main link between this group and the Six.

you know me...i play bad girls best :D so if there's room i'd like to play a villain or a menacing presence. Malice could reprise or maybe Dominique who wouldnt necessarily be out to get them but because her nephew was among the dead and an ally of Delilah's she would have reason to help them find out who did it. she was never involved with mystech so she's not outright evil.

ETA: I think I'd rather reprise with Dominique.
 
You playing the villain would definitely be great. :) I think it would be interesting if you played the next generation 'villain'. Trying to take over where Malice, James Marcus, Christopher Victory, ect. left off. So it could get you playing a whole new character as well.

We'll have to figure out the details for sure. :D

ill think on a new template for a villain (i cant wait to play Viper in the mainstream story :D). the fun of alternate storylines (at least as i see them) is that the rules of mainstream continuity dont HAVE to apply the same across the board.

the villain could be someone who was once a member of the six but betrayed them (Alison comes to mind ), a character from a past storyline whose fate took a different turn etc.


and i'll reprise w/ Dominique if only for a few scenes. I think it'd be nice for the kids to encounter a mysterious magick user.
 
I would actually PM Vil. She's the one who's been running it thus far. :) And I know she and Brandon have pretty much know what's going to be happening and what they're planning.

Welcome back :) Just echoing what Sam said - don't feel you have to rush into things. We DO miss you but you need to do what's best for you. And I know from when I needed to take time away - don't try and come back before you're ready.

As for this AU thing. It would be great having you play a villain. That would give everyone a break not having to play multiples too much. I DO think it would be good for you to play a new character, cause I think it's been good for all of us, but your choice, really.

Brandon wanted to play this guy from MysTech (who he's posted with once) and I don't think we should edge him out completely but maybe he can be the 'Christopher to your Helena' so to speak.

We'd planned that Brandon's MysTech character (Agent Finn) would send a mutant to attack the teens at MP. And that's what we're waiting on right now (insert eye roll). SO maybe you want to work with him to play that person? Or if you wanted to briefly bring Dominique in, she could appear there?

At the appropriate time, my character (based on Sage) Effy will find the MysTech location and some more about the mysterious girl Kara who died looking for Delilah.

Just let me know any thoughts you have, and we can coordinate with Brandon to bring you in. Since he's not posted yet!

Question....are we waiting to wrap this The Runaways up before we do the mainstream six storyline? Or will we be continuing the AU storyline along with the mainstream?
 
I had the same thought when Farrah said about starting the Six again. There's not really a reason to NOT do both if we haven't finished up Runaways by then. But also, this doesn't have to be a long storyline either.
 
I don't have a problem doing both. I think since everyone agreed to the idea of doing a AU storyline, we should maybe put it to a vote. See how many people would be available enough to do both storylines, or if they think they can only handle one. Then we can go from there. Because i'm really enjoying this storyline and the different feel to it. So I personal would love to continue it along with the six.

ill wait to start the mainstream story so you guys will have plenty of time to continue the alternate story :) im going to take you both up on your offer about just enjoying the board. (btw, i havent abandonned BB either, Vil. )

if you want to continue the alternate storyline even after we begin mainstream that's fine. this is your baby. ;)


what happened to me recently was very distressing but i prooved once again that i'm not to be trifled with and that men need to realize that whatever they think about me based on looks alone does not entitle them to my attention or any OTHER imagined thing they think they should get.

i'm now able to start getting back to other things i enjoyed before.

ill work on a new character profile for the villainess in the alternate story and Dominique will reprise as well.

She'll be connected with the hellfire club and the sisterhood which will be a valuable inroad for the teens in their quest to find out what happened to Delilah, IF they can get on her good side.

Have brandon contact me via PM if he needs to and ill be glad to work with whomever. :)
 
and i can immediately see you patterned your character after Sage :) all the characters are nicely done. its inspiring. not since Viper have i had to create a completely different character, so this should a nice challenge for me.
 
Oh, some more background for you. We decided that MysTech would be trying to put together a team of supervillians, and would be recruiting teenage mutants, including Delilah's kids. They would make them think they were doing good, make them feel part of a group yadda yadda, make them think they were going after Delilah's killers, but they would really just be furthering MysTech's ends.

We envisioned a split in the group, where some would realize that this was MysTech and try to convince the others to get out. MysTech would decide to terminate the program, and start executing the team. Our guys would then have to fight to stay alive.
