<< The spacious interior of Illustra is large.....the smooth circular walls are illuminated at various points by concealed blue lighting give way to a large domed ceiling........the floors of Illustra are solid oak, smooth and double laquered......while the large wrap stand in the center of Illustra is art deco in design, composed of metallic metals and prestine crystal counter tops. above the central wrap stand is a large, flat screen , liquid crystal display monitor which broadcasts clips from fashion shows around the world as they happen.......as well as intermitent shots of erotic anime images..........the music.....cutting edge dance/electronica is that of William Orbit, DJ Rap or Madonna at even given moment and pumps through the boutique.....adding to its cutting edge appeal yet not detracting from the elegance and affluence that radiates from the many exquisite and unusual accessories. There are many disply cases , tables, body forms and other set ups to show case the jewelry, accessories and fashions that Illustra has to offer.......the over all decor of the store is accented by silver borders......soft concealed blue lighting and a hard edge appearence ......a cool refreshing breeze tops it all off>>
 
::In a burst of fire shaped like a bird, Phoenix appears at the front counter. She looks around, not seeing anyone at all.::

"Boy...this place is kinda dead...Hey, Farrah? You in here somewhere?"

::The young hybrid waits patiently for the owner of the shop to appear, creating little animal-shaped flames to pass her time.::
 
Ikaris rises up from a pool of shadow that had appeared on the floor in the center of the Boutique. He nods to Phoenix in greeting while looking for Farrah.

"Hello dear, is Farrah anywhere around? I am wanting something special and if anyone is likely to have it, then she should. I am thinking of something to sow emotional dischord and chaos among the CoP, perhaps a necklace or armband. What are you looking for?"
 
::phoenix looked over at Ikaris, creating couple little birds that flittered around aimlessly.::

"Hey, Ik'ris. I don't think she's here yet. Hopefully she's out fryin' some CoPs.

"An emotional discord necklace? Sounds cool. Lemme tell ya, havin' the ability to mess with people's heads and emotions is a lot of fun--not to mention useful."

::She points a finger to her head and taps it, reminding him of her telepathic powers.::

"I'm lookin' for somethin' that'd give me telekinetic abilities. I was thinkin' a ring, but maybe somethin' not so easily disarmed..."

Ikaris continues to look about the shoppe as he speaks to Phoenix. Telekinetic enhancement? Excellent idea. It should flesh out any areas in your powers that might have been missing, though Ican't think of any at the moment. I seem to recall being told of a woman with telekinetic powers that was able to use them to alter the flow of her enemies bodily functions. Not only was it painful, but most people simply don't think to include protection on that level, something to think about if you haven't already."

Ikaris greets Darkchilde as she arrives, nodding at her story of re-educating her demons. The foolish creatures continually tested Farrah, one would think that they never learned their lessons. He listens intently to her description of the necklace's powers.
"Wonderful as always, darling. My only question is would it also be able to affect those multiple personalities that Kurama seems to be manifesting since the traitor went to the CoP. I especially want to create discord among them each battling for supremacy while leaving him defenseless."
 
*Amy pushed open the doors to Illustra, the amethyst stones along various parts of her body shimmering in the light, nodding her head to the three MoE members already present in the shop, her lips curving into a grin as she overhead Ikaris' little idea for Kurama. She looked around the different cases as she waited for Farrah to free up from her current business, tumbling ideas in her mind for what to buy. Finally looking down at her body, her mind wandered over the dark red boots and armbands and ring, feeling the circlet on her head as she smiled, an idea already forming in her head. She winked to Farrah and went back to looking at the cases until she was done with Phoenix and Ikaris.*
 
::phoenix examined the ring, taking in what DC was telling her.::

"I'm not one that goes for white diamonds, usually, but that red ruby is to DIE for!"

::She turns back and faces DC to inquire further about the ring.::

"It's power will progress with my level...how long before I'm able to telekinetically manipulate objects at the molecular level? And would it also be possible to get it enchanted so I will be the only one who can wield it? Can't have those nasty CoPs getting their hands my trinkets, y'know..."
 
*With her purchase completely done in her mind, she looked around the shop again, looking for someone to help her out. She spotted Ikaris and made her way over to him, thinking about what to say.*

"Hey Ikaris, when you aren't busy, I have a little idea for a personal suit of mine. Seems I must have forgotten to get one the last time I went on a clothings spree. I wanted a suit that can keep me safe from heat and fire attacks, and I was thinking of having it made out of molten rock so it wouldn't rip or be too easily susceptible to physical or weapon attacks...Though, would you happen to have a little magick up your sleeve to make it somewhat lightweight? Would suck not being able to move around much with it on."

*She finished her thought and nodded her head, content with what she wanted and smiled at Ikaris wondering what he'd come up with.*
 
Ikaris looks thoughtfully for a moment then addresses Amy's request.

"I'm not sure just how effective such a suit might be, creating one isn't a problem but as you are requesting it made of molten stone, it would be highly vulnerable to cold and water attacks. Lowering its temperature with a cold attack would cause it to shatter leaving you unprotected. Water attacks would likely create a cloud of toxic fumes when the water hit, and could cause you to find yourself overcome by the fumes. Neither are something you want in a battle. If you are looking for armour, then perhaps you might be interested in some of the pin armor that we have. The pin is created of oraculum, a mystical metal that is able to alter its shape to its wearers desires. When activated, it would flow from its design as an accessory to cover your body. Its magically resistant and would help to neutralize attacks of heat and fire(from those of levels lower than your own and cut the damage from attacks of those higher levels than your own). It will also serve the same purpose for other magical and physical attacks as well."
 
"I never thought about that."

*She listened to him continuing to speak, throwing out her old idea for armor. She bounced the idea of the pin armor around in her head as he described it and smiled, nodding her head. Another ring accessory would be great to balance of the one she already had.*

"That sounds perfect, thank you Ikaris. How much will it cost?"
 
OOC: It would cost 6,577,359 gil, j/k, lol.

BIC: "The armor is rather pricey, with it being a liquid metal and conforming to your body. The normal retail is 25000 gil, but I will let you have it for 19000. Would you like to choose the inactive shape? You can have it formed as a brooch, a pendant, a ring or a bracelet."
 
Alex fades into Illustra and sees Ikaris. "Ikaris, I was wondering if you had a Amethyst necklace that would allow me to create oxygen? I know it is a weird request, but with the new battle on the moon. Kurama has yet again sent me out of the oxygen area, causing me to be unable to use my fire capabilities as fire needs oxygen. Other then for that battle, oxygen manipulation could prove to be useful in the future. I was also wondering if you had a sorta bracelet that could allow me to manipulate the Shadows, in a way I can move in and out of shadow 'portals'?"

She pursed her lips, hoping that this 2 items would be available. Money was not a problem.
 
"Nice to see you again Alex. As for your items, the Shadow talisman would enable you to utilize shadow portals as part of its abilities. I believe you already possess one, if my records are correct. As for an oxygen manipulating piece, that shouldn't be a problem."

Ikaris walks over to a display case and removes an ornately carved amethyst cameo on a velvet choker.

"How about something like this?"

"Some other things that you might also want to consider is that you can use heat without fire. Causing the temperature in an area to increase can melt rocks if you are strong enough. And you could always attempt to drain heat from other people and objects. Look at every aspect of your powers and make the most of them. Before I forget the pendant runs for 25000 gil. It will surround you in an oxygen rich environment up to 15 feet from your body. It can also be used to summon oxygen to yourself away from others provided they are required to breathe."
 
As Ikaris greeted her, Alex returned it with a smile. "Indeed, Illustra is a place, I can't stop coming to, Ikaris..." When Ikaris informed her that her Shadow Talisman would do the trick, Alex frowned a little. "I don't remember owning a Shadow Talisman, but I am capable of summoning the God of Shadows with my Summoner Talisman though..."

As Ikaris walked towards a display case and took out a ornately carved necklace, Alex marvelled at the jewel's cutting. "A beautiful gem, indeed." When Ikaris gave her some tips, Alex took it in with great interest.

"Indeed, but nothing seems to work on Kurama as I've already tried to drain him of his body heat..." Alex said with a annoyed smirk on her face. Nodding, Alex continued. "Exactly, what I wanted. I'll take it."

Looking at her fire sais, it suddenly reminded her of something, removing it from her sheath, Alex showed it to Ikaris. "This was a Christmas gift, and I was wondering about its capabilties."

Pausing a little, Alex recalled what it was capable of. "This was the breakdown of the sais' capabilities."

When held in the hands of a fire elemental, these weapons will glow a bright red...as red as the embers of a fire, you might say, and for good reason - the longer they are held in the fire elemental's hands, the hotter the blades will become, until they are literally spitting sparks. As you can imagine...the effect of these red-hot blades when touching someone or something would be great, depending on the material touched. As an additional effect...should the sais be slammed into the ground, they will hover, the tip barely touching the ground, as it sends out a wave of pure heat forwards in a straight line, directly between the two blades, hot enough to incinerate paper and scald skin, and cause breathing difficulties. This is a brief blast of ten seconds.

"I was wondering about what it meant by 'As you can imagine...the effect of these red-hot blades when touching someone or something would be great'. And could I do the same to a person as I would to the ground that would send 'a wave of pure heat forwards in a straight line, in between the blades'?"
 
Ikaris makes a mental note to update his files as he had been quite sure that Alex had owned a Shadow talisman. No help for that now. Turning his attention back to her, he listens to her questions.

"The Sais would cause between second and third degree burns to anyone you touch with them. The longer you held them the higher the damage. They would also cause burning damage if a person were stabbed with them as well as the actual stabbing damage. You wouldnt be able to use the sais to inflict the added damage if you were to stab a person with them, the initial fire damage would be worse and that is what you would inflict. Is that what you were wanting to know? And will you wear your necklace out or can I wrap it up for you?
 
Zhane walked up to Alex after he entered Illustra through the front door and admired the surrounding artefacts and gems placed around on counters along the way. He noticed that Alex was thinking about taking Ikaris' offer but Zhane had to interrupt because he was in a hurry. He glanced at Ikaris and asked him.

"I'd like to have some sort of attire or object that gives me the power of sizing, to size the opponent and myself. Have you got any in stock?"
 
While Alex pondered the purchase of the gem, Ikaris turns to greet and help Zhane. He listens carefully and thinks for a moment. He shows Zhane several earrings that possess the ability he is looking for.

"You can't go wrong with reducing an enemy to the size of a toy and crushing them, that is for certain. These gold earrings all possess the power you are looking for. They will reduce either yourself or an enemy to the size of one of those action figures that the mortal children like so very much, but not both. The effect will last in accordance to your level. Normally this very strong magic would run close to 30000 gil but I can let it go for 23000."
 
Zhane gave the small plain silver earring a closer look, and apparently by the look on his face he was very pleased. He leaned back and brought his eyes up to meet Ikaris' as he spoke. "I'll take them." His hand reached his pocket and grabbed the exact change which he handed to Ikaris.
 
Ikaris puts the monies away and turns back to Zhane.

"Is there anything else I can get you?"
