Ikaris approaches Rachel to find out what she is in the market for. He pulls the sunglasses tray out and arranges them on a black velvet cloth. Several he dismisses immediately as too mannish, but finally has some to choose from. He shows her several wrap around designs.

“Perhaps these will serve. They are all constructed of Promethium alloy that has a regenerative property and are thus unbreakable. The lenses are coated with an enhanced polymer shield that will repel any liquids touching them, its rather like a highly advanced version of rain-x. The small gems you see patterned on the lower corners of the lenses will protect your eyes from light and fire based attacks directed to your face. The choice of colors is yours of course as all of these have the qualities you are looking for. The price for a pair is 2100 gil.”

Ikaris notices the young mutant having some distress over his control of his optic blasts. With a quick flick of his hand, Ikaris surrounds Rama with shadow to absorb any stray blasts while he quickly searches for Farrah’s supply of Ruby Quartz. Finding the glasses, he grabs a wraparound pair and carefully sets them on Rama’s face before dismissing the shadow field.

“Is that any better? Its simply a quick fix so there wont be any accidents while we work on finding you something better. Sorry about the red tint to everything but those are a very basic model. Here are the more advanced types.”

Ikaris shows Rama several different styles, knowing full well that none of them are really going to satisfy him. After Rama dismisses the inappropriate ones, Ikaris smirks and goes into a back room for a moment, returning with something covered with a silk cloth. Removing the cloth with a flourish, Ikaris presents Kurama with what he knows the Dark Elder is going to favor.

“I knew that Farrah had this around someplace since I stole it for her myself. It’s a one of a kind prototype made of an emotionally responsive morphogenic variety of ruby quartz. Put these on and you have a stylish set of glasses. They will change to suit your mood as well as your outfits plus there is the added benefit that they will morph themselves into a battle visor with a simple telepathic command. They are the most highly advanced set of glasses you are likely to find and they also filter out that annoying red hue that ruby quartz gives to lenses. Your vision is completely normal. With regular ruby quartz, anything red in color would be nearly invisible to you. Speaking of invisibility, the glasses also allow you to see anyone using invisibility spells, talismans or potions of level 5 or lower as if they were wearing a neon sign. Will this work for you? Since it is a one of a kind item, it normally would be rather pricey, but I think it can be worked down to 4000 gil.”

Ikaris finishes with the orders that come before hers and turns to Alex. He looks over the Fire Sais, noting the fine workmanship on them and begins to peruse the sheaths available. He brings out several for Alex to look over including a set of sheaths attached to a double silver link belt. The buckle is a blue diamond water drop.

“How’s this? The sheaths will set low on your hips with the belt and the diamond when touched, grants you the ability to cast an icy fog around your opponent (2 posts), create an ice slick under their feet (one post) as well as casting up to 4 razor sharp ice daggers to stab and slice your opponent. Due to the mystical properties of the diamond, the daggers are an icy cold mist, creating frostbite if touched by anyone but you. The set goes for 3700 gil.

::Rachel looks at the different kinds of sunglasses Ikaris had set out for her. She picks up a nice black pair with red gems and tries them on.::

"Just out of curiosity, will these also be able to let me see just as well in dark enviroments? And is there possibly a band of some sort I could put around it to keep it from failling off my head?"

Ikaris looks over the ledger book in front of him and sees that Farrah had been working on Desires order. He takes over smoothly, bringing out a tray of stylish sunglasses. Finding several that should fit the bill, he presents the ones that appeal to him the most.

"These have a Titanium frame and the earpieces are strong and sharp enough to also serve as a stabbing weapon without worry that they will break. An added charm protects you from injury from the glasses themselves. The lenses allow you to see through invisibility spells of any level lower than yourself. They also provide you with a radar sense of those using invisibility at one level higher than yourself. Will these do?"

Ikaris also brings out a tray of rings with rainbow topaz stones.

"I am not sure what properties your choker and earring posess but I am sure we can find something that will suit you."

"Yes, the sunglasses are wonderful! All my jewelry have different properties...maybe something that protects from Molecular Acceleration or the annoying things GoL's do by either freezing or boiling you blood. I absolutely despise those powers.."

"The glasses are charged with an electrostatic charge that bonds them to you, you dn't have to worry about them coming off until you take them off. These sets of glasses dont have the ability to allow you to see in darkness, those area little more expensive, but I can show them to you if you wish."

"Well, these rings(gesturing to the left side of the tray) will protect against freezing, these against boiling ofthe blood (center of the tray) and these last will protect against MA powers. The price for your combined package would be 5300 gil.

:: Kurama nods as Ikaris has taken over for Farrah as she is away in Limbo at the moment. After finding himself in shadow, Rama finds himself wearing a rudimentary pair of glasses. As he is about to moan about these, Ikaris tells him they are only temporary. Rama nods and then watches as Ikaris shows him some other syles. None of them catches Kurama's fancy so he dismisses each in succession. While Ikaris is off in the back Rama looks around as he thinks of another purchase he is wanting. While he is in his thought Ikaris has come back out and shows him the extremely wonderful pair of glasses. Rama smiles as Ikaris describes them, listening carefully while admiring them. Kurama twists his wrist, switching the glasses with the ones he had on, a perfect fit. He tests them out and likes the way they morph. He can see perfectly. Rama pulls from a pocket a checkbook. He quickly makes out a check and then throws it in the air. It dissapates and Rama smiles ::

"They are perfect and I'll take them, I've just sent the money into Farrah's account. Now then, I am also looking for something else. Something unique, rare, and powerful. Something that will further accentuate my already flashy nature. Think you have something here that would do that?"

I can replace the lenses with ones from the backroom that would include the additional properties. It would run you a total of 3000 gil though. I understand that it might sound a little pricey but you also need to consider the workmanship and quality of the item.

Ikaris rolls his eyes at Rama, knowing he is looking at a true shopaholic, then smiles back at him just as slyly.

"Well, there are plenty of things that you could buy, a new wardrobe perhaps? I saw some of the most interesting metallic cloth outfits in the back. I didn't get much of a chance to look over them but I did see one in a dark ruby as well as an emerald green one."

"You will be able to see in the dark, the glasses will deflect light and fire attacks from your level or lower and will protect your eyes from liquids being thrown in them. And I am not worried about the price either, I am not the one buying them.

Ikaris brings out an interesting bracelet. It is open ended meant to be slipped on rather than clasped. The bracelet itself is silver and gold braided together with ruby caps. Designs representing both fire and water intertwining have been etched into the ruby caps. Its is a definately masculine bracelet but with a definate style and elegance.

"Now the interesting thing about this is that it enables the wearer to create Greek Fire(a sheet of flame envelops the victim for 2 posts up to 3 times in any battle), the secret of which has long been thought lost. Greek Fire can't be extinguished by water. It will continue to merrily burn until the object it is burning is consumed or until the object burning is buried completely in the earth, should even the slightest air touch the Greek Fire, it will again ignite to continue burning. Imagine the surprise on the GoL member facing your 'friend' when the fire he casts on them can't be put out by water or ice. Its a steal at 7500 gil.

Alex looked attentively as Ikaris took over from Darkchilde. She nodded, listening carefully to the different properties of her new belt and sheaths. She smiled, very pleased with what Ikaris have came up with.

"It's great, I'll have it."

Alex gave Ikaris the 3700 gil (posted in DC's account), and taking the belt politely from his hand. She gave a grateful nod and smokes out of the shop.

Ikaris escorts Rama over to the new arrivals section and shows him the new outfits. The tags read "Unstable molecules copyright R. Richards, design by Kay Cera. Even Ikaris had heard of the ultra famous designer who only worked with the most exclsuive clientele. He pulls two of the outfits and hands them to Rama. The emerald robe glitters under the lights, it looks perfect for entertaining or simply as lounging wear. The dark ruby outfit is a form fitting bodysuit and far more suited for action of several sorts.
