its a subtle but definately glowing/sparkle effect......

<< DC brings forth several different style ankle bracelets composed of feminum. one is cuff style, the other is a small chain link style.........and the third is a charmed bracelet with small jewels of various colours hanging from it>>

this feminum chain link bracelet is detatchable simply by pulling it off.......it will not break....for it has a malleable magick to it. when you detatch it........its length more than doubles......allowing it to be come a full sized chain link whip that flows like liquid metal. the links can become as sharp as razors while its in this form allowing you to cut through almost anything.

it has a one time use per battle but once it is drawn you can keep it in this form for the remainder of the battle. should you no longer need it.......simply toss it aside and it will reappear back on your ankle.


it retails for 1000 gil.

"Hello again Farrah. I was wondering what you could show me availiable in anklets, torques, and belts?"
 
*Purple flames erupted in a circle in Illustra. As they die down and the smoke dissapates, Amy walks out into the shop, gazing around at all the wondrous goodies. She waited her turn, then walked up to Farrah, thinking.*

"Heya Farrah. I was looking for a clothing accessory, like a headband. Could you show me anything in a dark red or dark purple color, possibly with gems in it?"

*She took a look at her gil and smiled, grinning just a tad bit. She might as well spoil herself while she was here.*

"Hmmm...could you also show me any boots you may have. Long and black perferably...oh, and with a design on them! Vines or a celtic symbol around or up it. OH! And also some matching leather arm bands (upper arm) with the same colors and designs. That'd be awesome!"

*She smiled, content with her ideas and waited for Farrah to get to her when she was ready.*
 
:: Hex shimmers in. His eyes blue, and he had a genuine smile across his face. Whatever he had been thinking before he had shimmered in was happy thoughts, maybe it was Halloween coming, maybe there was something in the air. ::

"Darkchilde." :: He began, :: "I am looking for the perfect ring. I want it to be small, and be able to fit my lover, Maia. Things have become more serious with us two, and I think a.." :: He leaned over the counter and whispered in her ear. :: "engagment ring would be in order."

:: He smiled, and he waited for Darkchilde. ::

"Maybe a pink diamond would be nice."

"Hello once again, DC. Right now I'm looking for something stylish but useful to kill those pesky GoL's. Maybe something like Euthalia had. Just something that can kill..."
 
*She tilted her head to the side as she continued thinking.*

"Maybe also a ring to go with the one i have already. Any precious metal would be nice."

OOC: very sorry people.......life gets so hectic and sometimes you lose your motivation. intrestingly enough.....belts are very popular right now.......I do have an assortment of torques mostly ornamental as they are not prevelant in fashion right now and i have some anklets as well.........what material do you desire for the torques or anklets in terms of metal, jewelry and length?

body suits.......i have many designs available.......it depends on what your looking for in terms of a "look" and colour. body suits cant protect you from the corrosive effects of some high level energy attacks..but they CAN help protect your body from the ravages of concussive impact of energy blasts........granted...the more powerful the being who wields the energy......the more likely you WILL suffer cosmetic damage to your body ....though the armour will BLUNT its internal effects.

a head band........that would be covered by a circlet...which would be more stylish........i have some that are designed just for women....most are made of 100 % pure leather of the finest quality and dyed perfect shades of every colour in the spectrum. bejeweled head ribbons or circlets tend to be more effective if your in a magickal pinch in battle (i.e. your frozen via temporal stasis and need something to break you out...etc)

boots- tall (at the knee or above the knee) boots are very much in fashion this season....a tall, high heeled boot paired with a short skirt....or with a body suit would give you a very cutting edge look. i have boots of many designs and colours.......feel free to choose a pair that suits you........<< motioning over to the shoe /boot display area of Illustra were exquiste, cutting edge foot wear is on display for men and women>>

your arm accessories should match your head circlet......by design and material..BUT you can colour match the arm accessories with your boots......
once we determin what head circlet you want and what boots you want........we can pick the arm accessory :)

and as for rings and other jewelry....you KNOW that Illustra is the premier boutique in this realm for the finest in quality, rare jewelry........

"Ooo that is better. Circlet on the headband, great idea. I'd like a magickal pinch in there as well, hehe. May i have the headband in a dark purple with the amethyst stone on it, and silver celtic designs?"

*She nodded and walked over to the shoe section, picking out knee level boots, in a dark purple shade, almost black looking, but with easy visible purple tints. Rimmed in silver designs up the sides of the boots, the front combine together in celtic knottery, with amethyst jewels spread out here and there.*

"I'll take these, look very lovely. Since both boots and head circlet match, won't be too hard to find a good pair of arm bands. For the ring, i'd like it to be the round kinds, no stones sticking out. Would like it rimmed with amethyst stones, with triqueta symbols every other two stones...matches my necklace."
 
<< as Amy picks out a stylish pair of at-the-knee, high heeled boots , from DC's own "Illustra Inc" line., she makes her way over to one of the crystline counters which feature head display models mounted on sterling silver platforms.......bring forth a flawlessly dyed, 100% leather head band, which is accented by platinum circlet. the circlet itself is crafted into a celtic design and is adorned with 1kt faceted amethyst jewels........very functional as an accent for many hair styles and perfect for Amy's request....she then walks over to the main jewelry wrap stand in the center of the boutique.........bringing forth one of the velvet "fingered" ring display trays......she takes hold of a circular, smooth, platinum band....with intricate designs of the triquetra symbol that appear amongst evenly spaced 1/2 kt faceted amethyst jewels.........>>

*Holding onto the boots, she walks over towards the stands Farrah stood among and eyed the circlet, her hand running down one of the sides and over a stone. She then glanced down at the ring, looking at the symbol patterns around it and smiled, excited.*

"Perfect! It all looks great. Now to tackle those arm bands."
 
you dont want to look cluttered......and having too much of one pattern can make you look like you dont know how to accessories.

for your arm bands...i suggest NO jeweles.....and simply have either purple arm bands with black or silver celtic design accents around te bands themselves.
