"AAAAARRRRGGHHH!!!"
Ben roared for the crowd as he power tossed a much smaller man who would have been considered ripped by normal standards against the electric fence cage that contained them in the ring. Ben's massive body :garrick: jumped right onto the fence, his physiology making him immune to electric attacks, grabbing and shaking the cage with ease. The crowd went wild as Ben spit blood from his mouth into the crowd. Korean Yakuza fight clubs weren't the most posh of places, but they were bloody fun. Ben's life changed the first time he ever knocked somebody out cold. Something about looking at a guy that thought he had something on you just laid out cold on the pavement like the bellend that he was just made Ben get his rocks off - pun intended.
And once he became Goliath, he never stopped. At Hellfire, he was a pussy. Some little servant boy that had been picked up and put down like he was the family dog. But in the free world, there wasn't a lot of people that fucked with Ben Lewis and lived to tell about it. Every hit. Every blood spatter was like proof to Ben - that he was just as good as Cameron, and Ava and Haleigh. This weekend had left him more confused and angry than ever and right now he wanted to beat the shit out of whatever he could in the most gruesome ways possible. And he had been doing it for the last three hours. He had been in these circles in his late teens, once Kelly finally trusted him enough to make him her Bishop. She gave him freedom. In her own way. Kelly King had a way of reminding you of the black shackles around your hands, and of her skill as a locksmith. It was the reason she was still alive. And now she was the Mother In Law of The Black Queen. If it wasn't so fucked up it would have been funny.
Opponent: (Korean) "Dangsin-eun ajig baeg-in sonyeon-eulbadji moshaessseubnida!"
"What's that mate?"
Ben charged the man, who was indeed quite strong for a flatscan, and grabbed him by the neck, throttling him against the cage, watching his body writhe against the electricity. He looked him in the eye, gave a wink, spit on him and hurled him like a rag doll into the center of the ring before puffing his chest and hitting it with his fists, his biceps rippling and flexing in perfect physical perfection. He soaked up the attention.
"You approve?!"
It felt good. To be celebrated for his manhood, because every woman in his life seemed hellbent on destroying him. He thought of Cassandra. Her leaving made him realize that at one point he did love her, and had he not, he would have never entertained her in his life for as long as he had. But Kelly had broken her completely, in ways Cassandra would never realize, and for Ben, it was just too painful to be around. But that was Kelly King. She broke people. In ways that exceeded the capability of Ben's fists. He roared to the crowd once more.
"This man is NO Yakuza!"
He was enraged at Kelly. She destroyed every life that she ever came into contact with. It was no surprise to Ben that she had survived the uprising. She was a powerful witch and mutant, a brilliantly gifted mind, but her true power was her ability to make herself useful, to earn favors. To earn clout with others. She had a hand in the entire Inner Circle's deepest pain, and yet she lived over the others. She had manipulated him, made him feel like he was nothing, like the only reason he had a life was because she allowed it. She was his mother, his caretaker, but she was not his child. She doted on her children. She gave them EVERYTHING and him nothing.
His anger swelled as he flexed his muscle once again, grabbing the now fleeing opponent by the foot and flinging him in the air, watching him thud to the ground with great force, listening with delight as he heard the cracking of a bone.
"You flea? You shame your family like this? So brazenly?!"
Ben snarled with anger. family. It was an almost laughable word to Ben. His family had shamed him beyond repair before birth. All his life he thought his mother was an unstable lunatic and his father was a raging depressed alcoholic. He was told that he wasn't as good as the others, when he shared the same blood of one of her daughters.
"Erika."
He HATED being away from her. He did not want to be in Tokyo. He was planning on finally getting to spend some time with her - his SISTER. From the moment he was born he felt alone, and though Ava had been more than a good enough surrogate sister, he desperately craved the idea of family of his own. He wanted a legacy as much as anybody else.
Opponent: naneun geob-i naji anhseubnida. naneun baem-ida.
The man began to cough up blood, his body near complete disfigurement.
"Baem-ida. Snake."
He had picked up a little Korean in his youth, and it was enough to trigger him.
"Amanda."
Goddammit he wanted her so bad. She was forbidden fruit. She was Eve. No. She was Lilith. He could easily say that he thought Amanda Soto was the most intelligent person he had ever met, but his words wouldn't mean much. Ben never was one for academic pursuits. She had always been hot and cold but now she was taking it to another level. She threw herself at AJ, and then at him, and now she was withdrawing altogether. It made no sense. Her not wanting to share a room was the straw that broke the camel's back. He had enough women in his life playing him like that, he didn't need another. Especially her.
"And I am the snake charmer! Well...kind of."
Ben's tensions from the weekend boiled over as he grabbed his opponent by the hair, dragged him to the corner of the cage, forced his mouth to bite the corner, smashing his head in with brute force, killing the man instantly. This was against the rules, but Ben was sure he had been heavily bet on tonight. He was making them money. They weren't going to do a damn thing with him. Ben watched the man's blood drip from the edges of the ring and down onto the floor. It felt good to see, and Ben was a bit scared to ask himself why.
Announcer: "THE WINNER! The UNCHALLENGED! GOLIATH!!!!!"
The crowd went wild as the cage was deactivated and spectators moved into the ring, cheering him on and kissing him on the cheek, bowing before him. He may have been one hell of a mess, but right now, he was the God of the fucking ring. He was a champion. He was Hercules, and for the first time in awhile, it didn't matter if the others didn't see it. Goliath was feeling himself, and he wasn't about to let go of what he was finding.
