Is anybody reading this?

I just got caught up on it & it's quite good! Very well written. I'll admit, I kinda felt let down about Hope following the conclusion of 2nd Coming in the X-books but I really have been enjoying Generation Hope.

Hope Summers was the first mutant born post House of M. Her initial mutant power was the ability to correct/reset other mutant's powers. most notably fixing Rogue's long unstable mutant absorbtion power to the point that now Rogue can activate it @ will & doesnt have to wear a costume that covers all her skin.

To save her from the Marauders, Sinister & the Purifiers who were all after her, Cyclops sent her w/ Cable, who raised her in a dystopian future timeline, training her to be a soldier.

She was the subject of the "messiah complex" storyline & the more recent [& brilliant might i add] "2nd coming" storyline where Cable returned her to mainstream time & she was key in the X-teams defeating Bastion & the army of Nimrods.

Immediately following the conclusion of that, the X-men's cerebra detected 5 new mutant births. Hope & Rogue went out to find these new mutants, whose powers manifested completely out of control. Hope was able to touch & cure these mutants & take them with her. They are called "The Five Lights" & they are currently back on Utopia (the sanctuary for all remaining mutants) training under the X-men Xtinction team.

Hope has been controversial b/c of her uncanny resemblance to Jean Grey/Madelynne Pryor, her manifestations of the Phoenix firebird in her eyes & the fact that she can replicate several different mutants powers @ once.
