General Power Tables Questions

I wasn't quite sure which thread to put this in..

I just bought an ice staff from the item shop since we did not have any ice powers here at MoE, but I'm unsure of what I can do with it. What am I limited to? Should there be power tables for bought powers/items? :$

i think at level one, it's safe to say you could ice things over... create small amounts of ice... turn liquid to ice, etc. as long as you don't get overexcited and do something outrageously more powerful than your level, you should be okay.

No prob.

Now i have a question myself. What are the limitations of general MOE power level 3 abstral projection? So far i've used it like Prue's abstral projection in Chramed, meaning, my abstral form does not have powers, and my actual self becomes immobile. This isn't exactly useful, but i can bare with it. So just asking incase its something better.

our power of astral projection is patterned after Prue Halliwell from Charmed....and its NOT meant to be an often used, heavily relied upon power. at the lower end of the level ladder (which YOU are now at the middle of the ladder) when a person Astral Projects, their physical body DOES become unconscious.....and the astral form enjoys the use of all your PHYSICAL powers (speed, strength, use of personal weaponry or any other PHYSICAL power). at the higher end of the level ladder, you will remain awake even when you astral project but if your astral form sustains any significant blow/impact it will dissipate (thats at ANY level) as your astral form is NOT a clone.....but merely a physical manifestation and focused projection of your psyhic being.

astral projection is QUITE useful if you think about it. if you are paralyzed, trapped in binds that you cannot physically or magickally escape.....OR if you are surrounded by foes and want to strike the most dangerous foe down in a way that they wont expect. those are just a FEW ideas........but AP is not meant to be used obviously, and many character types in MoE are not associated with it (only evil witches, gypsies, metamorphs and warlocks are typically associated with Astral Projection) and so your foes wouldnt expect you to use it.

Yeah i know. i don't use it often. And so far i've been unconsious. Thanks. Oh, and Morpheus asked this in the personal observation thread.

If you're inflicted with several disabilities, such as you're being struck blind, deaf, paralysed etc, when you abstral project, your abstral form will be perfectly healthy right?

yes......your astral form will be FREE of any physical ailmants that were wrought upon your ACTUAL form due to any spells...etc.

Level 7: Mastery of Magick - Channeling one of four types of magick (I.E - chaos, asgardian, eldritch, gypsy). Magick bolts of concussive force, spell warping and reflection, mystic binding, magickal detection, complete access to The Darkhold, total resistance to level 1-4 spells cast against them, self healing magick.

A few question about these powers, hehe. Could you possibly explain chaos, asgardian, eldritch, and gypsy magick more fully? So I'd know what I was dealing with...?

Just to check... spell warping, would it be possible to, for example, warp someone's rain of fire so that, instead of falling on me, it'd fall on them? Or does spell warping mean something entirely different/

okay this is what I got from Farrah

four types of magick, Chaos has to do with the wild elemental of earth, Eldritch magick is the arcane power that darkchilde commands, gypsy magick (from Brenthon) they are focused blasts of gypsy magick, the strongest ones are channeled by blood gypsies, and asgardian is the magick of the planet asgard the norse magick

if you have more questions PM Farrah or for Gypsy to Brenthon

and Farrah's answer to the spell warping is it could be either or depending on your level and creativity. instead of a reign of fire..it could be a horizontal torrent of flame instead etc

I have a question....it says that upon entering MOE your speed and strength are enhanced. And also...with certain species..(like mine..the agent) that they have superspeed and strength.
How much would that be? I mean..compared to other species f.i. or non-augmented ones. Also..how does this work...does it get better at a higher level?
Wouldn't it be easier to add some sort of scale to that...so you can say..like this species is stronger than that ..like 2x or 3x or whatever? Cause now it's super-unclear?

the divinations are:

Deluxe- 5 to 10 tons
Class 10- to 15 tons
Shift X - 50 tons
Class 100- unchartable

Class 100 is the most powerful of strength augmentations and to date there is only ONE character in GoW with that kind of strength, Morpheus.

I would guess, Neo, since you have Super Speed and Stregnth, you would be Deluxe, such as the Undead and Banshee's. This is pretty much what I calculate from the above two quotes.

Well, considering the basis of agents, and that they're somewhat a physical kind of character, i'd say their superstrength should be higher then some other specie's superstrength. However, at level 2, according to the description, it says all basic fighting attributes are amplified by 10 fold. Well, i'd assume this means your strength should be be 10 times that of a regular MOE with enhanced strength. A normal MOE's enhanced strength i'd say should be slightly higher then a normal human's maximun strength capacity, and so you're 10 times that, which would be about deleux as Desire have suggested. However, as i've mentioned, considering how agents are more of a physical character, its only fair if your superstrength increases along levels, and attain something higher than deluex...

Yeah... Of course, this is my opinion. Lets have someone with higher authority confirm it.
