The Clocktower - Ashley's Room

"Come here, let me hold you."

He didn't have to ask her twice. She set the pint of ice cream on the table on her side of the bed, and snuggled in against him, draping her arm over his waist and resting her head on his chest.

Zach said:
"I have a few very opinionated female friends. And if any of them think that they can get between us, they will find themselves sorely mistaken, because YOU are the number one woman in my life now, capisci?"

She smiled, running her hand over his stomach.

"What number was I before?"

She propped herself up on one arm and gave him a perturbed look. Then she laughed, and hit him playfully on the chest.

"I'm KIDDING."

She leaned down and kissed his lips softly, resting her body on his chest.

"But Zach."

She grinned.

"The next time you tell me something in Italian, could it please be because what you had to say was too dirty for English?"

She smiled down at him, but then her face got serious.

"Are you alright?"

She knew how hard he was taking all of this, and it worried her.

Zizi: "Those...are amazing! They look like they were just flown in from Gallifrey!"

Gabe smiled

"Glad you like 'em."

Seeing her smile was like a weight off his shoulders. But he knew he needed to clear the air, to tell her that SHE hd nothing to be sorry about and that it was all on HIM. He was flustered, guilty, angry at himself for everything that had happened the past couple of days. He felt Zizi's hand on his arm and as much as he didn't want her touch to make him feel better, it did. He didn't deserve it, but he didn't deny it either. She pulled him into a hug and he gently wrapped his arms around her, holding her for a long moment.

Zizi: "You didn't do anything to hurt me. Zach - he got it all wrong. I'm so sorry I brought you into this mess."

"No. I'm the mess, Liz. I have been since day one."

He admitted, knowing that this could have been avoided if he had just been honest with himself. When he was younger, yeah, he looked at Zizi as just a friend. He was wrapped up with the attention he would get from women, especially after he had money courtesy of working for the Cassadines. It was everything he had wanted at the time. He could take care of his mom, he didn't have to worry about finances anymore, he could have anything and anyone he wanted. He was a fucking asshole, plain and simple. But Zizi was always there as a friend. But as time went on, he found love in Ava and that opened up his eyes to a whole new world beyond just the physical pleasures of sex. He wanted to feel love--to love someone and make THEM feel good. He thought he had that with Ava, but he got scared and fucked it all up and lost her. After that, he didn't try to find love anymore--rebounding to his old methodologies. And then one day, BAM...the world dealt him a hand that he wasn't expecting, one where Zizi was the damn wild card. He remembered the feeling he got seeing her again for the first time in over a year. The way they immediately clicked; the way she made him laugh. Her purity and love. And for all the years they had been friends, he couldn't figure out WHY he hadn't seen her in this light before. She was amazing, the ying to his yang. But he was scared and he shut down. He didn't want to hurt her like he did Ava. He didn't want to fuck everything up. So he fucking shut it all down ultimately hurting her anyway.

Sighing out, Gabe gently ran his hand through her short brown hair as she pulled away. Her eyes were filled with concern as she looked at his split lip, her thumb gently running across it.

Zizi: "Oh...Gabe...your lip. Are you okay?"

"This? Yeah..yeah, i'm good. Just a scratch."

He dismissed casually, not wanting her to worry.

Zizi: "Can we...can we sit together? There are things, I need to say. Explain."

Gabe nodded, knowing they needed to talk about everything that had transpired. He was kinda dreading it, but knew it had to be done. Walking over to the sitting area, he helped Zizi into the chair next to him and sat back. She took his hand, and he gently squeezed it, placing his other hand on top of both of theirs. As Zizi rested her head on his shoulder, he gently stroked her hand.

Zizi: "You should have run away screaming yesterday when you had the chance. It's not too late."

Gabe smiled down at her.

"Not a chance."

Zizi: "Gabe, you know I have loved you my whole life. And I knew that you didn't look at me that way. I knew that. And it was okay, because you were still my best friend and I wouldn't trade that for the whole world.

He sighed. Knowing the truth and hearing it were two totally different things. He knew Zizi had feelings for him when he only wanted to be friends with her in the past. But hearing her say it? It broke his heart.

Zizi: "And then yesterday... I knew that wasn't a date, I'm not stupid. But then Ashley convinced me to wear that outfit and she was saying all these things. And I thought, well maybe he will see me in this dress and realize that he really does want to be with me."

Gabe shut his eyes after hearing her admission, feeling like a complete and utter asshole.

"Liz..."

Zizi: "But you didn't. You didn't even notice the dress. So yes, I felt hurt, but that wasn't your fault. It was me, trying to wish something into reality. And I was acting so crazy, and Zach & Ashley were awful to you...you couldn't have known what was going on, shouldn't have known."

Gabe turned his body, looking down at her.

"I did notice your dress. You looked beautiful....SO beautiful. But I just didn't know how to say it--how to react to what I was feeling because I was scared. So I played it off like an asshole....Zach was right about THAT one."

He admitted stubbornly.

"I notice a lot about you, Liz. The way your brows crinkle when you're concerned. The way you pull your hair back into a pony tail when you're ready to get down to business. The way you try not to swear....but it slips out despite your best efforts."

He gave her a smirk, referring to her swearing on the phone with him when Ava had attacked.

"You didn't need a dress for me to notice you or think you're beautiful. Even this dress....little bugs and all....it looks gorgeous on you."

He gave her a smile, his thumb running along the small embroidered bug on the hem of her dress.

"I got so lost in my own head I didn't even think about how it was making YOU feel. Zach and Ashley WERE right. [he bitterly admitted] I WAS an asshole to you yesterday. I didn't mean to be...I didn't want to make you feel anything less than amazing...I just withdrew and got scared."

Sighing, Gabe let his head fall back onto the couch.

"After we kissed--I hadn't felt anything like that in a long time. And the last time I did? I hurt her. I didn't want to do that to you....I didn't want to lead you on or make you feel like shit....or break your heart. [gently scoffing] But I did anyway."

He realized as he was saying the words. He unintentionally hurt Zizi even when he was trying his best NOT to.

"Fuck...i'm sorry for being an asshole yesterday. You didn't deserve that."

He shook his head, disappointed in himself.

Zizi: "And then this afternoon, when I acted like a lunatic. Suddenly I had everything I'd ever wanted. And I wanted to be with you. I wanted you to make love to me. I haven't been with anyone since my accident. And I got so scared. I didn't want to lose you after I finally..."

That made Gabe's eyes widen as he looked down at her.

"What?"

He couldn't believe WHAT he had just heard her admit, completely taken aback.

Zizi: "So I panicked. And I hated that I had messed everything up. I felt so guilty, and ashamed at being so stupid. I wanted to make you happy, and instead...I made everything weird. So that's what Zach was feeling from me. That's why he thought you had hurt me. So it wasn't you, it was me."

Gabe moved his body so he was completely facing her, looking into her teary eyes, his thumb brushing the ones that fell on her cheeks away.

"You listen to me, Elizabeth York."

He took her face within his hands, making her look into his eyes.

"I don't ever want you to feel pressured into having sex with me. If you're not ready, then you're not ready. That's okay--that's COMPLETELY okay."

He ran the pad of his thumb along her cheek, his eyes softening as he looked into hers.

"I didn't even think--you're so strong and confident and nothing has ever stopped you since you've been in that chair....I didn't even stop to think that you would be scared to be intimate with me. I'm sorry....I should have known, I should have asked."

Running his hands down to her arms now, he slid them down her fore arms until his hands met with hers.

"I don't want you doing anything that makes you feel uncomfortable. And I don't want you thinking that you need to please me in order to keep me around. I love you, kid. I'm not with you just to have sex with you. I'm with you because you're amazing and beautiful and smart and courageous and funny and you know the difference between Star Trek and Star Wars."

He let out a little laugh before becoming serious once again. He looked deep into her eyes with conviction.

"I don't want to have sex with you, Liz. I want to make love to you. And I only want to do that when YOU'RE ready, got it?"

Gabe leaned in, his lips gently pressing against hers; his one hand cupped her cheek while his other still held her hand.

"I love you. I've always loved you. I've just been an oblivious dude for far too long."

He joked with a smile, trying to lighten the tense mood.

The Clocktower -- Ashley's Room

Ashley thought it'd be funny to tease him, which pulled a scoff from Zach. She rolled up on top of his chest and kissed him, and he could tell that what he'd said had made a difference to her.

Ash: The next time you tell me something in Italian, could it please be because what you had to say was too dirty for English?

"Maybe."

He smirked up at her, sliding his hands down her back and tucking them into the back pockets of her jeans.

"Maybe I'd like to use the romance language for something a bit more... I don't know... romantic?"

He suggested with a sly smile. She got that serious-detective look on her face, and asked him if he was alright.

"Oh, sure. As Zizi would say: I'm fine."

He deadpanned, and then he sighed.

"She still insists he didn't do anything wrong, I'm still worried about her getting hurt. But she's not mad at me any more, and we kind of made a deal to work this whole mess out. I guess we have to wait and see. I really appreciate you convincing her to hear me out, Ash. I wasn't sure she'd ever speak to me after today. And again.... I really appreciate you backing me up out there against the district attorney's office."

He said, a subtle comment that hinted he was more than a little frustrated about the way Sharon, Alycia, and Isis had gone after him. He smirked and rolled them over so that he was on top of her.

"I mean I really, really appreciate it."

He said as he brought his elbows up on either side to support his own weight, and then he leaned in to press his lips against hers.

"I did notice your dress. You looked beautiful....SO beautiful. But I just didn't know how to say it--how to react to what I was feeling because I was scared. So I played it off like an asshole....Zach was right about THAT one."

"You aren't an-"

She paused, then whispered, "A-hole."

"I wasn't exactly honest with you."

She closed her eyes, remembering with mortification how she had acted, the things she had said.

"Ugh...I acted like an idiot...I was just so nervous."

Gabe said:
"I notice a lot about you, Liz. The way your brows crinkle when you're concerned. The way you pull your hair back into a pony tail when you're ready to get down to business. The way you try not to swear....but it slips out despite your best efforts."

She tried to pretend to be offended at that last one, albeit unconvincingly. She couldn't believe he had noticed all that.

Gabe said:
"You didn't need a dress for me to notice you or think you're beautiful. Even this dress....little bugs and all....it looks gorgeous on you."

She smiled shyly.

"Oh come on, the're adorable. Like little computer viruses."

Gabe said:
"I got so lost in my own head I didn't even think about how it was making YOU feel. Zach and Ashley WERE right. [he bitterly admitted] I WAS an asshole to you yesterday. I didn't mean to be...I didn't want to make you feel anything less than amazing...I just withdrew and got scared."

Gabe leaned his head back onto the couch. She hated that he was feeling so bad, when he hadn't done anything.

"Stop saying the a-word. You have done so much for me, have always been there for me. Who was beside me every step of the way when I had my accident? Who made me do my physical therapy? Who downloaded Doctor Who and brought it to me so I wouldn't miss any episodes?"

She shifted herself, so she was turned more towards him.

"And who has been awake for like forever and probably about to have a fit of narcolepsy, just so he could help me? And who put in millions of dollars of equipment for free overnight? You are...you are the most amazing person Gabe. And I love just being with you."

Gabe said:
"After we kissed--I hadn't felt anything like that in a long time. And the last time I did? I hurt her. I didn't want to do that to you....I didn't want to lead you on or make you feel like shit....or break your heart. [gently scoffing] But I did anyway. Fuck...i'm sorry for being an asshole yesterday. You didn't deserve that."

"You know, yesterday, you said you were afraid of losing what we had if we tried to be something more. And today, I understood what you were saying. If you hadn't wanted to see me anymore after what happened today, I would never have forgiven myself for screwing up our friendship."

She squeezed his hand.

"I understand how you felt. You don't have to feel bad for that, for not wanting to lose us. But I...I want to be with you, Gabe. I don't want to only be friends, I want more. I know you won't hurt me. I know you."

She admitted to him what she should have told him before, what she was afraid to tell him. And as she began to cry, he took her face in his hands and forced her to look at him.

Gabe said:
"You listen to me, Elizabeth York. I don't ever want you to feel pressured into having sex with me. If you're not ready, then you're not ready. That's okay--that's COMPLETELY okay. I didn't even think--you're so strong and confident and nothing has ever stopped you since you've been in that chair....I didn't even stop to think that you would be scared to be intimate with me. I'm sorry....I should have known, I should have asked."

She shook her head.

"You couldn't have known. I hid it from you, because I was embarrassed."

Gabe said:
"I don't want you doing anything that makes you feel uncomfortable. And I don't want you thinking that you need to please me in order to keep me around. I love you, kid. I'm not with you just to have sex with you. I'm with you because you're amazing and beautiful and smart and courageous and funny and you know the difference between Star Trek and Star Wars."

She laughed through her tears, sniffing.

Gabe said:
"I don't want to have sex with you, Liz. I want to make love to you. And I only want to do that when YOU'RE ready, got it?

She smiled. She really didn't deserve him. Gabe leaned towards her and kissed her softly, and her eyes closed. When they opened he was still right there, his eyes looking right into her.

Gabe said:
"I love you. I've always loved you. I've just been an oblivious dude for far too long."

"I love you too."

She put her hands on his chest.

"Dude."

Zizi leaned forward and she kissed him this time, without any nerves, feeling completely safe there with him. When she finally pulled back, she put her hand up like she was in school.

"Um, question. Do you have any plans for that cheesecake?"

The Clocktower - Ashley's Room

Things were so easy with Zach. She could say anything to him. She could tell him about herself, and she could tell he actually cared about what she had to say. And when she touched him, it was like a calming wave washed over her body. She could lay next to him for hours, just feeling him there beside her, listening to his breathing.

"Maybe I'd like to use the romance language for something a bit more... I don't know... romantic?"

She felt Zach's hands slide down her back and into her back pockets, and the proximity of his hands and her ass was electrifying. She smiled.

"Okay...well then can you make it something I want to hear? Instead of discussion of your ex girlfriends? "

She asked him if he was really okay, and it was clear he was still a bit upset about the whole thing.

Zach said:
"Oh, sure. As Zizi would say: I'm fine. She still insists he didn't do anything wrong, I'm still worried about her getting hurt. But she's not mad at me any more, and we kind of made a deal to work this whole mess out. I guess we have to wait and see.

"WE can keep an eye on her, make sure she's okay."

Zach said:
"I really appreciate you convincing her to hear me out, Ash. I wasn't sure she'd ever speak to me after today. And again.... I really appreciate you backing me up out there against the district attorney's office."

She lowered her lashes.

"Zizi would have spoken to you again. She knows what kind of man you are. As for the rest..."

She scratched his chin affectionately.

"I'll always be on your side."

He rolled them over, and she looked up into his eyes.

Zach said:
"I mean I really, really appreciate it."

She grinned as he leaned down and pressed his lips against hers. She never got tired of that feeling, the warmth and safety that flowed into her from him. She slid her hands around to wrap around the back of his neck, just enjoying kissing him, not rushing things. When they finally came up for air, Ashley remembered something.

"Oh, I almost forgot. Your other surprise."

She grinned at Zach, and shifted so there was enough space between them for her to unzip her jeans and push them down low on her hips. The low cut of her panties showed off the tiny Swarovski crystals along her bikini line, spelling the letters Z-A-C-H next to a blue star. Beneath that was an arrow pointing downward. She proudly displayed it for Zach.

"Do you like it? Do you feel vajazzled?"

The Dorilton - Penthouse

Delilah turned to Alycia, and gave her a weak smile.

"Time to put those powers of persuasion to use."

:: Alycia turned and looked at her friend::

Do you have a golf club here?

:: Delilah knew what she meant. Those who knew Alycia well, knew she would sometime resort to dark, questionable humor when she was in high anxiety mode. Like it or not, and she DIDN'T, Alycia's success in her effort to blow Nedry out of the water would depend on the cooperation of a woman who had facilitated the downfall of the Six, AS WELL as HER career, AND her exile from "man's world." This woman had proven to be one of THE WORST unintended consequences of the Six's actions, one that had affected Alycia as well. ::

:: Alycia had made risky, but calculated moves before, she was not afraid to do THAT, it was one of the abilities that had made her so successful, and FORMIDABLE, but Bianca was at the root of SO MUCH trauma for the Six, and herself, that even SHE was wondering if this meeting was WORTH it right now.::

:: Bianca closed in, she breathed in slowly, and exhaled slowly.::

Bianca stepped off the private elevator into the penthouse of the Dorilton. She was wearing a curve-hugging white dress with a cut out at the midriff, with a sable stole over it. She saw Delilah and Alycia Barnett waiting for her, and gave them a look of disdain.

:: Alycia looked upon this woman with her "game face." The one she wore as a corporate lawyer, and later as the assistant district attorney, she'd been through many changes since the night Bianca managed to capture photographic evidence of her hitting Stavros Cassadine in the head with a golf club, causing him to fall to his death from Illustra. She hoped this woman would have enough SENSE in her to realize that it would be to HER advantage to COOPERATE.::

"The doorman almost wasn't going to let my driver park in front of the building. Ridiculous. If I were living here, he would be replaced immediately."

"Oh really, I'd suggest he get a raise."

Delilah arched her eyebrow at Bianca.

Okay!?

:: Alycia kept her expression steady::

She looked around her pointedly.

"You called this meeting. Am I supposed to sit on the floor like a heathen?"

"I thought we could talk on the terrace."

Delilah indicated with her arm the way, and they exited two French doors into the garden terrace, which had still been meticulously kept despite the apartment being vacant. There was a outdoor seating area, and soft lights illuminated the greenery in the failing light of the day. This was a beautiful setting - and also one where Silver Swan could easily see and hear everything, and be there quickly if necessary.

Is there a GOLF CLUB hidden nearby?

:: She smirked, as they followed Bianca onto the terrace. Sharon, her gryfalcons, a few other birds, and Xavier were all nearby, hidden, waiting to POUNCE if needed, but also serving as observers AND recorders.::

"So, let's get down to it, I have an appointment to keep. Why am I here?"

Bianca, I'm Alycia Barnett...

:: As if the woman didn't ready know who she was, BUT "force of habit..."::

...I'm conducting an investigation on CFS worker Dennis Nedry based on suspicion of human...CHILD trafficking. I understand that you have membership in the Hellfire Club, and a direct line to the Red Court. My preliminary investigation has uncovered a trail that leads back to the Red Queen. I need hard core evidence that ties Nedry not only to disappearance of these children, but also the disappearance of several known prostitutes, as well as a money trail, documents, photographs, an entire package for the "smoking gun.

:: She names a few other things, and is very specific on what she needs, speaking to Bianca the way she would be speaking to an informant, because that's essentially what Bianca would be acting as for Alycia. ::

:: And so...::

Given your resources, and your...unique abilities, you are an ideal candidate to gather this information for me without risk of being discovered.

:: She'd let DELILAH add the final piece of this, as she was the one calling that favor in::

The Dorilton - Penthouse

"Oh really, I'd suggest he get a raise."

Delilah cocked an eyebrow at her, as if she had said something scathing. Pfft.

"And that is why you will never belong in a place like this."

She walked out onto the terrace, which apparently was the only seating available in the entire place. Bianca wondered briefly whether Delilah had stolen the key and was just squatting here.

She lowered herself majestically onto one of the plush cushions sitting on top of a dark wicker sofa, asking why she was there.

Bianca, I'm Alycia Barnett...

She rolled her eyes.

"Yes, I know who you are."

Alycia said:

Bianca eyed her.

"What does any of that have to do with me?"

Alycia said:
Given your resources, and your...unique abilities, you are an ideal candidate to gather this information for me without risk of being discovered.

Bianca laughed.

"You must be joking."

She looked back and forth between Delilah and Alycia.

"Why would I ever spy for you?"

Delilah: "Because you owe me. The Six wanted to fry your ass, but I convinced them to let you go."

She scoffed.

"Small recompense for what happened to me, don't you think?"

She stretched her arms out on the back of the sofa.

"I offered to assist you in the future if you could make it worth my while. So what could you possibly do for me?"

She waved her hand in the air, dismissing the question.

"That is neither here nor there. As much as I would like to stick it to Helena, overturning the apple cart in a place I am quite happy being - it's not my style. I have no wish to be exiled as an informant. How incredibly gauche. Nor do I want to spark the ire of Malice."

She stood, pulling her stole tighter around her shoulders.

"Now if that's all..."

The Clocktower- secret passage

When he was able to slip away unnoticed, he took the elevator down to Isis & Rich's floor.

"I apologize for being late. I hate to make an excuse to convince Andrew to go pick up things from our apartments later, since it looks like we'll be staying here for a bit."

:: Dominique lifted an eyebrow::

Are you sure he won't take a ...detour along the way? With his luck, Persephone, Black Widow...or another NIMROD might find him.

:: Andrew was a curious young man, well meaning, and harmless, but sometimes he seemed like a bit of an idiot. But...what was it that Vivica said? "Dare to be a bit...messy?" and learn more about her fellow teammates, AND let them learn more about her!::

:: She downed the rest of the hemlock in her flute, and held it out, Richard poured her another. This was her 4th glass, and she seemed a bit more..."relaxed." It was unusual for Steel, but Richard knew she could lighten up...a little.::

"What did you want to show me?"

Something that I think you'll find quite intriguing.

:: She stood up and strutted past him in her high heels. She turned back to look at him, and she beckoned.::

Follow me.

:: Richard brought up the rear, and soon, they were in another room, where Steel saw a beautiful grand piano, some sheet music, and othere items. There were other items in this room that indicated This was the room where Dominique often practiced, wrote song lyrics, played music on the piano, and more. ::

:: He also saw a few framed pictures of her with other globally known artists like Celine Dion, Brian Mcknight, and more. he would ALSO notice a framed picture with herself, Prophet, Firebird, Spellbinder, Rampage, and Sally Spectra, that momentous night at the Parthenon. For him, it would be a glimpse into her life as a songstress, and a STAR.::

:: his thoughts were brought back into focus as he heard her voice again::

Look ahead of you, Detective Steel.

:: He noticed the double doors of the large wardrobe closet.::

Walk forward and open those doors.

:: She stood to the side, and gestured, like a model from "the price is right", toward the doors. He looked a bit puzzled, and hesitant, but he could see she was serious. Richard was standing nearby, he looked serious too.::

:: When he finally opens the doors...there's NOTHING but the inside of a very large closet. He looks at Dominique and Richard, wondering if she's had too much to drink.::

:: She ignores his look.::

Take a step forward. Walk INTO the closet, detective.

:: NOW he really wondered if they were just trying to play some kind of joke on him.::

:: She took note of his incredulous look.::

Detective, you have already kept me waiting far longer than I like. The LEAST you can do in return is INDULGE my request now.

:: After a few more seconds, and seeing that both she and Richard are quite serious about this, he walks INTO the closet, and the moment he does? He hears an ODD mystical "melody" of sorts chime out around him, and his field of vision swirls and is enveloped in golden light.::

:: Suddenly, as he was taking his next step, he is NOW in Dominique's diamond suite, at the PARTHENON!::

:: No doubt he was momentarily disoriented, and not sure what just happened. A slight breeze, and more mystical tone could be heard in the air around him as he now heard Dominique's voice around him.::

This is no trick, or illusion. You are NOW in my diamond suite at the parthenon. Turn around, to the closet doors behind you, and walk back through.

:: Another odd moment as he passes through the doors, and once again finds himself back in Dominique and Richard's suite at the clocktower.::

I cast a "pathway" spell over this closet, and it is now a direct portal from here to my diamond suite at the parthenon. All you have to do, is open the doors, and step through, and you will be taken from here to there in the twinkling of an eye.

:: and what sincere, soulful eyes he did have! ;) ::

Later tonight, when Oracle and most of the others are asleep, return to my suite here at the clocktower, I'll leave the doors unlocked for you to get in. Simply make your way to this room, open these doors, and step inside, closing them behind you. You'll find Richard, Sharon, and myself waiting for you at my diamond suite.

We'll have our follow up there, away from prying eyes and ears.

Beyond that? This will be a "secret passage" that Richard and myself will use from time to time, and it an be considered an "emergency escape" exit, should the need arise. I'm sharing this information with YOU specifically, in the event that the clocktower is ever attacked, and you need to get Zizi out of here before it's too late. But I do NOT want the others to know at this time.

:: Steel looks a bit confused, but no less handsome::

Would you like to try again, to get better acclimated to travel by magick?

Bianca laughed.

:: Alycia remained grim in her expression, but inhaled a bit::

Be easy, Alycia....don't launch yourself upon her....YET.

"You must be joking."

She looked back and forth between Delilah and Alycia.

This is not a joke, Bianca. Lives are at stake. Innocent lives have already been lost because of this pervert.

"Why would I ever spy for you?"

Delilah: "Because you owe me. The Six wanted to fry your ass, but I convinced them to let you go."

She scoffed.

"Small recompense for what happened to me, don't you think?"

You damaged ALOT of lives in the name of revenge, Bianca.

:: Including Alycia's::

I'd say you've HAD your pound of flesh, and THEN some.

And you've come on QUITE WELL since Delilah convinced Spellbinder and the Six to let you GO after the SECOND time you came calling!

:: Alycia fired back::

But understand this, I've brought down senators BEFORE, I can do it AGAIN.

:: Bianca looked at Delilah::

She stretched her arms out on the back of the sofa.

"I offered to assist you in the future if you could make it worth my while. So what could you possibly do for me?"

:: MONEY? Is that what she wanted? It's not like she NEEDED it, but if she was THAT avaricious, and TYPICAL, Alycia could certainly INDULGE that, with her own access to considerable resources. The result of such a trade off would make it justified. Alycia had often shifted tactics, from threatening to bargining with useful informants in the past, but before she could answer that question...::

She waved her hand in the air, dismissing the question.

"That is neither here nor there. As much as I would like to stick it to Helena, overturning the apple cart in a place I am quite happy being - it's not my style. I have no wish to be exiled as an informant. How incredibly gauche. Nor do I want to spark the ire of Malice."

"Now if that's all..."

:: As the woman haughtily walked past them, Delilah caught a flash of utter disappointment...and then ANGER from Alycia's facial expression, as her hazel eyes sparkled. ::

oh HELL no....

:: The amazon turned on her high heel, and quickly walked after Bianca, and without losing her step, she brought forth ANOTHER unusual, amazing part of her amazonian arsenal, the lasso of truth!::

:: Delilah watched as Alycia moved SO FAST, swinging the glowing lasso with perfect form and technique, and then CAPTURING Bianca with it. The lasso wraps around the woman several times, tying her up, as Alycia SNATCHES her back with a fraction of amazonian strength.::

YOU listen to ME, you self centered, back stabbing, twisted TRAMP!

:: She hissed with RAGE::

You RUINED MY LIFE, you ruined DELILAH'S LIFE, and the lives of several people we care about...and after you came for Delilah AGAIN, held her in a CAGE, and nearly faciliated the death of Morgan Victoria, you were STILL allowed to WALK FREE!

Well...FREEDOM COMES WITH A PRICE, and it's time for you to PAY!

:: Still holding Bianca in the glowing lasso of truth, the amazon spins the woman around, and NOW has some of the lasso wrapped around her neck, TIGHTLY.::

Children are in DANGER, and many others have already DIED. If you were as JUSTIFIED in your behavior toward Spellbinder and MorningStar as you thought you were? You'd have EMPATHY for these VICTIMS, and want to see them DELIVERED from the slimy hands of that corrupt, FAT FUCK, Dennis Nedry!

You're NOT a victim anymore, Bianca. Whatever "just" cause you MAY have had? is LONG overwith.

:: Bianca would feel herself getting VERY hot, like she was in something WORSE than an OVEN. Her body, her bones, her blood, her very SOUL felt as though they were about to COMBUST.::

Do you FEEL that?

The FIRE of Hestia's lasso of truth BURNS AWAY LIES, Bianca. EVERYTHING about you now is a LIE.

And while you're wrapped up in this lasso? You will be COMPELLED to tell the TRUTH, AND to cooperate! The harder you resist, the more PAIN you will feel.

:: Alycia could ask Bianca ANYTHING at this point, no matter HOW sensitive OR personal, and Bianca would HAVE to tell the truth::

Let me give you a SAMPLE.

HOW MANY PEOPLE have you robbed and killed since the Six let you go?

:: Bianca would HAVE to answer this question truthfully, and the woman didn't know it, but that answer WOULD be recorded::

You see? You're under MY power now, so we can do this EASY WAY? or we can do it the HARD way.

If you DON'T give me what I want?

:: she starts to STRANGLE Bianca with the lasso::

I'll DRAG you out of here, and use you as my personal WRECKING BALL!

:: she SHOUTED as she started SHAKING Bianca::

The Clocktower - Dominique & Rich's Floor

Are you sure he won't take a ...detour along the way? With his luck, Persephone, Black Widow...or another NIMROD might find him.

"No, no - I told him I'd go with him later, so he's upstairs watching tv now. He knows not to go anywhere alone."

He smiled at her concern.

Isis finished her drink, and Rich immediately poured her another. He wondered how many she'd had, because she didn't seem quite as straitlaced as usual. He asked her what it was she had wanted to show him.

Isis said:
Something that I think you'll find quite intriguing. Follow me.

Steel put his hands in his pockets, a habit formed from presiding at thousands of crime scenes, intended to prevent him from touching anything he shouldn't. He thought the same principle applied pretty well now.

He followed Dominique into another room, which housed a large piano. He looked around him at the pictures spaced around the room. It was strange to see such personal items in the place where someone so usually reserved and - to be honest - cold resided.

Isis said:
Look ahead of you, Detective Steel. Walk forward and open those doors.

"Okay..."

This whole song and dance was pretty odd, but he played along, taking a hand out of his pocket and reaching forward, opening the door to the cupboard.

"It's empty."

He looked from Dominique to Richard. What kind of game were they playing at? Was this woman insane? Or just drunk on whatever that concoction was she kept drinking?

Isis said:
Take a step forward. Walk INTO the closet, detective.

She wanted him. To go into. The closet.

He had a strange sensation that he was either about to play a twelve year old's party game, or be murdered.

If they were trying to make a fool out of him...if this was some weird joke...he was OUT of there.

Isis said:
Detective, you have already kept me waiting far longer than I like. The LEAST you can do in return is INDULGE my request now.

After another moment's hesitation, he stepped into the wardrobe, and immediately thought that they had drugged him. His vision clouded, and there were strange lights and sounds all around him. He needed to get away from whatever what in that closet...

He took a step, and found himself at a place he recognized: Dominique's suite at the Parthenon.

"What the bloody hell?"

He looked around him - it seemed like the Parthenon, but...

He heard Isis' voice then.

Isis said:
This is no trick, or illusion. You are NOW in my diamond suite at the parthenon. Turn around, to the closet doors behind you, and walk back through.

He did as she instructed, and felt the same strange drugged feeling. But then he was once again at the Clocktower.

Isis said:
I cast a "pathway" spell over this closet, and it is now a direct portal from here to my diamond suite at the Parthenon. All you have to do, is open the doors, and step through, and you will be taken from here to there in the twinkling of an eye.

"Is that safe? Can't anyone just go through it? Can it take you anywhere else?"

Like Narnia?

Isis said:
Later tonight, when Oracle and most of the others are asleep, return to my suite here at the Clocktower, I'll leave the doors unlocked for you to get in. Simply make your way to this room, open these doors, and step inside, closing them behind you. You'll find Richard, Sharon, and myself waiting for you at my diamond suite. We'll have our follow up there, away from prying eyes and ears.

"I'll be there."

Isis said:
Beyond that? This will be a "secret passage" that Richard and myself will use from time to time, and it an be considered an "emergency escape" exit, should the need arise. I'm sharing this information with YOU specifically, in the event that the Clocktower is ever attacked, and you need to get Zizi out of here before it's too late. But I do NOT want the others to know at this time.

"Understood. But...shouldn't Zizi maybe know - this is her building, after all."

Isis said:
Would you like to try again, to get better acclimated to travel by magick?

He smiled.

"I'm not sure I'll ever get accustomed to that, thank you."

The Clocktower- Dominique and Richard's floor

"Is that safe?

:: She looked almost OFFENDED at this question::

You're alive and whole NOW, aren't you?

:: She looked at Richard::

What does he take me for, some kind of NOVICE SPRITE?

:: She rolled her eyes, and took another drink::

Can't anyone just go through it?

They could, if they knew enough to even consider such a thing possible, which eliminates most of the occupants in this building.

:: She said with a haughty tone, even Richard smirked a bit. ::

Would YOU have sought out this closet, opened its doors, and stepped through it if I'd not insisted?

Can it take you anywhere else?

Intruders or enemies would be shunted to an inhospitable environment, such as the middle of the ocean, or the mouth of a volcano.

:: Steel stared at her, but she was quite serious. ::

I'm not a novice, detective. Do you really think I'd leave an enchanted doorway accessible to just ANYONE?

Only myself, Richard, and those I have designated with access will arrive to the safety of my diamond suite. Persephone and Black Widow can't even get past the warding runes I've placed about this building, much less access this enchanted secret passage.

:: As Steel seemed to accept that this was an actual THING, and that Dominique had covered all her bases, he agreed that he would meet up with her, Richard, and Sharon later tonight, and now, he'd have a way to discreetly slip away, without even having to leave the interior of this building to get to the Parthenon! She knew that once he further settled, he'd realize what a VALUABLE tool, and strategy this was::

"Understood. But...shouldn't Zizi maybe know - this is her building, after all."

Of course, detective. I will inform her privately....

:: looking at him knowingly::

AFTER our little meeting tonight.

After all, YOU don't want her to know what YOU'RE planning to do, and I would rather not upset her either. She's been through enough as of late.

I will let her know, so that if she ever needs to escape this place, she has that option.

But NO ONE ELSE, Detective. Not at this time.

He smiled.

"I'm not sure I'll ever get accustomed to that, thank you."

:: She smiled at him, lifting one of her eyebrows, as her aqua blue eyes sparkled::

Where I'm concerned, you'll find there are MANY things you could become accustomed to.

:: she steps forward, with her drink in hand, "assessing" Steel ;) ::

It's a shame that you can't enjoy the pleasures of hemlock. It really IS a delightful thing.

:: She drew closer to him::

But there are other things...other ways...that I'm sure could help loosen you up.

:: She reaches out to him with her hand, and just as it seemed like she might be going one way, even as a somewhat JEALOUS Richard looked on...::

But THAT is a question to be researched and answered another day.

:: she immediately turns him around, and begins ushering him out of the room, back toward the common areas of the large suite.::

Thank you for coming, detective.

:: She says as she hurries him toward the double doors of their suite::

Until we meet again, later tonight.

:: out the doors he goes::

Good evening!

:: The doors SLAM shut! and on the inside, Dominique turns and leans her back against the doors, looking a bit wide eyed at the moment::

Richard, this hemlock that my nephew sent over by way of Alison...it is quite potent!

The Clocktower -- Ashley's Room

Ashley: WE can keep an eye on her, make sure she's okay.

He nodded gravely, then expressed his gratitude that she helped him with Zizi, and backed him up when he needed it.

Ashley: Zizi would have spoken to you again. She knows what kind of man you are. As for the rest... I'll always be on your side.

She told him, and scratched his chin, giving him instant goosebumps. He smiled softly, because he knew she meant it. It was a comforting thing to be assured of, unconditional support. He liked the idea of having her by his side, it made him feel like he could take on the world if he had to. He smirked, and rolled them over, then reiterated his appreciation. They kissed, and took their time with it. He relished the mood she was in, and the way she kissed him back, tenderly, with deep affection.

When they paused again, he found a grin on her lips. She admitted to almost forgetting his other surprise, then shifted a bit, and he laid on his side next to her, propping his head up with his hand as he watched her unbutton her pants and push them down. The light sparkled off little crystals that spelled out his name. His eyebrows raised in astonishment. First of all, because he'd thought she was just pulling his chain about the whole idea. But also, because she'd gone out and gotten it done, for him.

Ashley: Do you like it? Do you feel vajazzled?

She was quite adorably excited about it. His smile spread slowly across his face as a thought crossed his mind, and he knew he had to say it in Italian.

"Ti amo."

[I love you.]

He said, matter-of-factly, his eyes locking on hers. And then, just to make sure she didn't assume she'd hallucinated hearing it, he kissed her forehead.

"Ti amo, Ashley."

He kissed her cheek. He should have said it earlier.

"Ti amo."

He kissed her mouth softly, and pulled back, looking down at the design again. He traced the lettering with his fingertip, and then the star, and then the arrow, stopping at the point for a second.

"Questo è dove vado?"

[This is where I go?]

He asked, tapping on the tip of the arrow lightly, before his fingertips trailed lower, following the direction indicated.

"Questo è dove mi vuoi?

[This is where you want me?]

The Dorilton - Penthouse Terrace

As they all moved out onto the terrace, Delilah took a chair off to the side, leaving the one closes to Bianca to Alycia. This was really a conversation between the two of them - Delilah was just the faciliator. And she was there to watch Alycia's back as well.

Alycia introduced herself, and explained what she wanted from Bianca. Bianca only laughed.

"Why would I ever spy for you?"

Delilah looked at her coldly.

"Because you owe me. The Six wanted to fry your ass, but I convinced them to let you go."

She had told them that she deserved a second chance. Delilah strongly suspected that she had been wrong about that.

Bianca said:
"As much as I would like to stick it to Helena, overturning the apple cart in a place I am quite happy being - it's not my style. I have no wish to be exiled as an informant. How incredibly gauche. Nor do I want to spark the ire of Malice."

Bianca stood up, clearly about to leave.

"Come on Bianca, you know you can do this without getting caught. I'm calling in the favor you owe me - and it's the right thing to do."

Bianca didn't even look back, but then ALYCIA was up like a jackrabbit, and LASSOING Bianca. Delilah's eyebrows went up at this.

"Alycia, what are you doing?"

Something was happening to Bianca, as Alycia chastised her for her dismissal of the plight of the children Nedry had targeted.

"Alycia, stop this, this isn't the way! Don't stoop to her level."

Alycia said:
If you DON'T give me what I want? I'll DRAG you out of here, and use you as my personal WRECKING BALL!

Alycia was now choking Bianca. Delilah looked from one woman to the other. She wasn't really concerned for Bianca, but she knew what the woman might do to Alycia. Alycia might be well connected, but Bianca had resources, and was not an enemy that Alycia wanted to have, not when they had managed to have a truce of sorts with her.

Delilah touched Alycia on the arm.

"Alycia."

She spoke calmly, but firmly.

"Let her go. Hurting her will do us no good. We can't force her to help us. She would only run back and tell Hellfire if we did."

The Dorilton -Penthouse Terrace

This is not a joke, Bianca. Lives are at stake. Innocent lives have already been lost because of this pervert.

She scoffed.

"Innocent lives are lost every day. What difference will one make? Another will just take his place."

Alycia said:
But understand this, I've brought down senators BEFORE, I can do it AGAIN.

She clucked her tongue.

"Threatening me, Alycia? That's a federal offense."

She was done with this little charade, and got up to leave. She had a date with a bear. But suddenly, from behind, she was caught up in a rope.

"Oh, please, tell me you are NOT serious with this."

She was seriously started to doubt Alycia's mental capacity.

"Why not send Delilah for some moonshine and we can go cow tipping and have a real hootenanny."

Alycia said:
FREEDOM COMES WITH A PRICE, and it's time for you to PAY!

The lasso was then around her neck. Bianca seethed with rage at the impudence of this woman.

"Are you INSANE?!"

Alycia said:
Children are in DANGER, and many others have already DIED. If you were as JUSTIFIED in your behavior toward Spellbinder and MorningStar as you thought you were? You'd have EMPATHY for these VICTIMS, and want to see them DELIVERED from the slimy hands of that corrupt, FAT FUCK, Dennis Nedry!

"You have to make your own justice - no one is going to hand it to you."

It suddenly started getting very warm...HOT even. Hotter and hotter. What was going on here?

Alycia said:
Do you FEEL that? The FIRE of Hestia's lasso of truth BURNS AWAY LIES, Bianca. EVERYTHING about you now is a LIE.

"Let me go you lunatic!"

Alycia said:
And while you're wrapped up in this lasso? You will be COMPELLED to tell the TRUTH, AND to cooperate! The harder you resist, the more PAIN you will feel. Let me give you a SAMPLE. HOW MANY PEOPLE have you robbed and killed since the Six let you go?

Bianca sneered through gritted teeth.

"None - I am Bianca Ceasul. I don't get my hands dirty."

Alycia said:
You're under MY power now, so we can do this EASY WAY? or we can do it the HARD way. If you DON'T give me what I want?

The rope began to tighten around her neck, choking her so she couldn't speak.

"Alycia, stop this, this isn't the way! Don't stoop to her level."

She ruined our lives! She nearly killed you! She's gotten away with SO MUCH! LOOK AT HER, she has NO honor! She won't even "PAY OFF" the debt she owes you for SPARING her!

The lasso was then around her neck. Bianca seethed with rage at the impudence of this woman.

"Are you INSANE?!"

I might be.

Or maybe you just bring out the WORST in me.

:: She growled with contempt::

"Let me go you lunatic!"

You're going to give me what I want!

I brought down people bigger and more powerful than you before! D' you REALLY THINK I can't do the same to YOU!?

:: Alycia was so ANGRY, she was TIRED of people dismissing her, doubting her, gatekeeping her, second guessing her, questioning her credentials, people like Nedry, and BIANCA getting away with the worst, and BENEFITING from it, while people like herself and Delilah had only managed to emerge on the other side of the NIGHTMARE Bianca had caused for them because of divine intervention! ::

Delilah touched Alycia on the arm.

"Alycia."

She spoke calmly, but firmly.

"Let her go. Hurting her will do us no good. We can't force her to help us. She would only run back and tell Hellfire if we did."

:: Alycia shut her eyes tightly. She looked visibly pained to Delilah. She KNEW Delilah was right. She COULD compell Bianca to tell the truth, AND cooperate her with her, so long as she was bound by Hestia's lasso of truth, but after? she WOULD run back to Hellfire. ::

:: With one fluent move, she untied Bianca, and forcibly shoved her away, as she pulled the lasso back.::

The Clocktower - Ashley's Room

She grinned at Zach, waiting in anticipation to see what he would say. But what he did say, wasn't what she expected.

"Ti amo."

Their eyes locked, her eyebrows raised in surprise. Speechless with shock, she thought for a moment that maybe her Italian was rusty.

His lips touched her forehead, then her cheek, then her mouth, as he repeated the words. It was like music, her heart leaping in her chest. Her eyes closed as she pressed her lips back against his, then blinked open. She didn't know what to say as her eyes searched his. Well, maybe she did.

"I love you. I love you so much."

She kissed him again,

"I wasn't sure...I mean...I didn't know if it was too soon...I didn't want to scare you away."

His finger traced the design in the crystals.

She closed her eyes and whispered his name.

Zach said:
"Questo è dove vado?"

"Si..."

She bit her lower lip.

Zach said:
"Questo è dove mi vuoi?

She shivered as his fingers touched her bare skin, teasing her.

"I drew you a map, what more do you need?"

A small laugh escaped her lips before she raised her mouth to his, kissing him long and slow. Her hands slid around to his back, pulling him back on top of her. She broke their kiss suddenly, her face flushed and her speech breathless.

"Wait - I didn't try on any of the outfits I bought for you..." She pointed to the bag on the floor.

The Clocktower -- Ashley's Room

There was a moment, after he said it, that he didn't think she'd say it back. He smiled, in a gentle, forgiving way. He hadn't told her with the intent of eliciting reciprocation. He knew how she felt, he wouldn't hold it against her if she couldn't say it back. Some people waited MONTHS. She did say it though, and kissed him.

Ashley: I wasn't sure... I mean... I didn't know if it was too soon... I didn't want to scare you away."

"I'll never understand why people are so afraid to admit what they feel."

Had they fallen hard, and fast? That could be said. But it wasn't like they JUST MET. They'd known each other for a while, been friends before this. It felt natural, easy, as if this was the way it was supposed to be, him and her together.

He played with her 'vajazzle', posing questions to her in his native language, a warmly amused grin. She breathed his name, and said yes. He might have been tempted to say that was his favorite word. He felt his way lower as the desire escalated within both of them. Her arousal was evident, and now his, as well, but he didn't want to rush this along.

Ashley: I drew you a map, what more do you need?

She laughed, and he chuckled, and met her kiss in reply. She was pulling him on top again, and then she broke away, begging him to wait, saying something about trying on outfits, pointing towards that bag she'd left on the floor earlier. He pulled his hand from between her legs, took her hand with it, and brought it down on the bed next to her head, as he pressed his body against hers.

"Save that for later, my love. You know I wouldn't like anything on you right now."

He whispered in her ear, and kissed her neck, then her bared shoulder. He pulled her top off, and her bra, then kissed her collarbone, her breasts, her tummy. He'd done this with her before, but there was enjoyment in it still, knowing it was something she liked, and now after their traded confessions, there was a renewed sense of devotion in his touch.

His hands went to the waistband of her jeans, peeling them and her underwear slowly down as he lowered himself to kiss the freshly exposed skin of her hips and thighs. He pulled her pants all the way off and when he started kissing her down below the arrow, he spent a little extra time there.

He brought her just to the edge and then paused, smiling. He pulled back, going upright on his knees, and smoothly undressed himself. When he was done he kissed a path back up her body, stopping in between to look up at her. When he got back up to her neck he nudged her chin with his nose, pressing her head back onto the pillow, as he slowly pushed his way in as deep as possible. It felt so good to be with her again that he groaned loudly. He stopped there and took both her hands in his, intertwining their fingers, his eyes finding hers again.

"Ti amo, Ashley."

He said again, pressed his mouth against hers, and only then did he start to move his hips.

Gabe felt so damn guilty for making Zizi feel like shit, when all he ever wanted to do was just be a good friend to her. To be someone she could rely on. To be someone she could trust and love. But he had fucked it all up because of his own shitty past and doubts. He let his head fall back onto the couch with a sigh.

Zizi: "Stop saying the a-word. You have done so much for me, have always been there for me. Who was beside me every step of the way when I had my accident? Who made me do my physical therapy? Who downloaded Doctor Who and brought it to me so I wouldn't miss any episodes?"

Gabe shrugged.

"I still don't get why you're obsessed with that show....."

He mumbled off handedly in jest before giving her a small half smile.

Zizi: "And who has been awake for like forever and probably about to have a fit of narcolepsy, just so he could help me? And who put in millions of dollars of equipment for free overnight? You are...you are the most amazing person Gabe. And I love just being with you."

"And I love being with you. What other woman can I geek out with but still drinks like a fucking sailor? I mean...common, Zi...that's a rare combo these days."

Which was true. Yeah, he was a 'geek' and he loved 'geeky' things. He was also the stereotypical hacker. But beyond that he was a normal guy who enjoy drinking and having intellectual conversations with people. Most woman couldn't do that EXCEPT Zizi. But despite it all he still fucked it all up because he didn't want to fall back in love after the hurt he had experienced with his last love.

Zizi: "You know, yesterday, you said you were afraid of losing what we had if we tried to be something more. And today, I understood what you were saying. If you hadn't wanted to see me anymore after what happened today, I would never have forgiven myself for screwing up our friendship. I understand how you felt. You don't have to feel bad for that, for not wanting to lose us. But I...I want to be with you, Gabe. I don't want to only be friends, I want more. I know you won't hurt me. I know you."

Zizi began to cry and it literally made his heart snap in two. He quickly turned to her, taking her face within his hands and telling her EXACTLY how he felt. Telling her she could trust him with all the insecurities she had, with all the doubts and trepidations. She could trust him with her BODY and her heart. Wiping the tears away from her cheeks, even as she cries, the glassy glint in her brown eyes was so beautiful--the vulnerability she expressed even moreso. And right then, he told her in no uncertain terms that he loved her and would respect the pace in which she wanted to take their relationship BECAUSE he loved her. There was no rush for intimacy, there was no need to throw her down and fuck her. He knew how much this meant to Zizi, and he wanted to make sure SHE knew how much it meant to him in return.

"I love you. I've always loved you. I've just been an oblivious dude for too long."

Zizi: "I love you too. Dude."

Gabe let out a small laugh, smiling at how easily the tension immediately left the room in that one moment. She leaned in and he met her lips half way with his. He ran his hand to the base of her neck, his fingers splayed out within the mass of her dark brown hair. The kiss was more than just a kiss; it was like time had stopped and that moment was absolutely perfection.

Finally Zizi pulled away, Gabe sighing out like he had just experienced a wave of ecstasy and he was riding the high. Opening his eyes, he looked at Zizi as she raised her hand in the air. Cocking up a brow he gave her a crooked smile in anticipation of what she was about to say.

Zizi: "Um, question. Do you have any plans for that cheesecake?"

He let out a laugh before standing up from the couch.

"Oh you mean MY cheesecake? Yep...yeah, I plan on eating the whole things."

He teased as he went over to the counter where the box of cheesecake was, grabbing two forks from the small kitchenette before walking back to the couch.

"I am a very healthy, muscular, growing man, Liz....Did I mention muscular? Muscular. [he grinned playfully] I need my fuel."

Opening the box up to the Oreo cheesecake with the words 'I'm Sorry' written on it. He handed Zizi a fork.

"But I GUESS i'll share...I mean, it's the gentlemanly thing to do. But first...."

Gabe used his fork to wipe off the 'I'm Sorry' from the top of the cheesecake, eating the smeared blue icing off the utensil with a nod, satisfied with his work. There were no more 'sorries' needed between them. As far as he was concerned, this was a fresh start in their NEW relationship. No looking back, no insecurities, no hesitations. Just a trust in each other and their long history.

"MUCH better."

He grinned.

"Dig in, kid."

She ruined our lives! She nearly killed you! She's gotten away with SO MUCH! LOOK AT HER, she has NO honor! She won't even "PAY OFF" the debt she owes you for SPARING her!

"SHE has no honor. But YOU DO."

Finally Alycia released Bianca, who began clutching at her neck and gasping for air. She pointed at Alycia, eyes angry, croaking as she tried to speak through her damaged throat.

Bianca: "I will NEVER [gasping breath] help you [breath] now."

And she stormed off the terrace, through the apartment, to the elevator, and was gone.

Delilah went to Alycia's side, and touched her arm.

"Are you okay?" she said gently.

"I'm sorry, it was a bad idea to contact her - I never should have suggested it."

Alycia: The only person you EVER help, is YOURSELF! But the sister fates write EVERYONE'S stories, INCLUDING their ENDINGS. YOURS is coming, Bianca, and I hope it's BEYOND an unhappy one. Just GO!

And she stormed off the terrace, through the apartment, to the elevator, and was gone.

Delilah went to Alycia's side, and touched her arm.

"Are you okay?" she said gently.

"I'm sorry, it was a bad idea to contact her - I never should have suggested it."

:: Alycia turned to look at her dear friend, and Delilah could see this look of utter exasperation, not with DELILAH...but with so many OTHER things, including this latest setback.::

:: That look slowly melts into one of sadness and utter disappointment. She places her hand on Delilah's and squeezes it.::

::exhaling::

No....I'm not okay, Delilah. I just messed everything up. BIG time.

Just looking at her...that smug, uncaring facial expression...remembering what she did to me, you...ALL OF US (the six and their allies), what she COST us, and knowing what happened the second time....she had you in a CAGE- she was going to kill you! she caused BLACK to return, and Morgan died because of her! But you all showed her MERCY....and look at her...she FLAUNTS her status, and her resources. It just INFURIATED ME and... I snapped.

:: she continues to look at Delilah, before turning and walking from Delilah, throwing her hands up in the air and exclaiming loudly, before slowly pacing around ::

...Nedry.

:: Continuing to pace.::

...Zach.

...Andrew.

....Haleigh.

....CAMERON!

:: she shakes her fist at the mention of those LAST two. Delilah KNEW that the hurt and resentment of Cameron and Haleigh's personal betrayal still ran deep with the Amazon, and this moment was evidence of that, but there was more...::

I'm SO TIRED of being disrespected, second guessed, dismissed, having my credentials and my relationships questioned by those people (the birds of prey). I don't EVER recall having this much difficulty with the Six...not even when that... ROBO SLUT (Delilah knew who THAT was ;) ) and I were at odds.

Am I just waxing nostalgic? Or am I amongst a group of people now who just DON'T GET IT!?

:: she continued to pace::

I'm so TIRED of watching people like HER (Bianca) and Nedry get away with abuse, with BREAKING THE LAW and massively benefiting from it!

:: she sighed once more as she calms, stops pacing, and is once again facing Delilah with her arms folded around herself::

Delilah...Rose is COUNTING on me. I've GOT to stop Nedry, before he hurts her and her children, and I KNOW I can.

:: her feminum bracelets shimmer as she runs her hands through her hair, and begins to slowly pace around again::

I've played this game before. I've men bigger and more connected than him down before.

But TIME is NOT on my side in this round.

:: she massages her temples, shutting her eyes tightly::

I need to regroup, and find another way in. I can't ask Sharon... after what happened with Domino, they would make SURE she was kept at bay, despite her having that VIP membership.

Even what Isis could get with her runes is not going to be admissible in court. I need hard, compelling evidence of a trail, and that TIES HIM to this.

:: she looks at Delilah::

I'm just...FRUSTRATED now. There was an incident that happened at the Clocktower before I got here...and I didn't have as much time to prep for this as I would like. I should've remembered who I was dealing with, and set the bar LOWER for this conversation than I did.

But what's done is done. I have to change course...and find another way...and quickly.

:: still looking at her friend::

Thank you for your help tonight.

I'm down...but I'm not out.
