I personally have never used an escort service. I'd never thought of it really until something I watched online recently about it. Its not merely prostitution. Far from it in some cases and if anything from what i was observing on the program I watched, it might be SAFER than prostitution.

Still...I just can't see myself having to PAY for something along those lines. There are too many men out here for me to choose from if i want to have a "sex & the city" time

escorts are a huge business across the planet especially whenever Charlie Sheen goes off the wagon but craigslist is just weird and I'm not talking about the normal meetup and have sex stuff i mean the freaky looking for loveseat will pay with handjobs or looking to spend nice evening with lovely man and his dog XXX creepy shit.

I'm just not sure about the whole paying for sex, I'm not sure I really be in the business of the situation if its just a random business transaction with someone i don't care about.

I actually had a (male) friend who was an escort - but he swore that he just went on like mock dates with women or if say a woman needed a date for a business function she would hire him. No sex involved and he had a girlfriend.

That's what I'm reading when I looked a bit closer at escort services. The "legitimate" ones are more about keeping up appearences than flying under the radar of "prosititution."

Apparently some make quite a bit of money especially those based in L.A. or NYC.

I used to work with a girl who became a criaglist hooker LOL. I remember a mutual friend of ours who also worked with us ended up calling me and and telling me to go on craigslist and look up this girl in the "woman for men" section. I was so confused until her picture popped up! LOL. He was SOOOO pissed off because they were closer friends than me and her were, so he completely wrote her off and didn't speak to her again. It's weird the way craigslist works though. They can't sayd "$200 for 1 hour" they have to say 200 roses so it's not legally considered "prostitution" online. How that makes it different is beyond me lol.

As for escort services, they do seem much safer than just hooking on the street. But I think there are risks with anything involving sexual relations or "dating". I've read that there are lots of money to be made in it though. I wouldn't be against doing it myself if I knew I would be safe. However I would only do dates, nothing more, obviously. lol
