< It had been an extremely early morning of battle simulations, same sex kisses and a general feeling of exhaustion. Erika had memerized the spells she needed to enter the Lighthouse and the Power of Light behind her that she was sure would protect her and the rest of the group from any danger. The group slept for only two hours but Erika didn't sleep at all. Her eyes were on the prize. She was going to get her brother back and get rid of her Mother once and for all. It was going to be a big day and she wanted to be as focused as possible. She walked down the stairs and into the guest bedroom where the girls had fallen asleep as she gently woke them up. >

"Alright women, it's time to get up.. Suit up.. It's time for battle..."

< Erika left the room as she turned the corner and walked back up to the stairs of the attic and took a look over her Book of Shadows. She opened her spell book to the spell that would invoke Cameron's Powers. She ripped the page out of her book and shoved it in her pocket. It was endgame. Someone would be vanquished by the end of the night and Erika hadn't planned on anyone in her group being that person. It was time. Time to reclaim her family and save her brother. >

** After the sensual kiss Blaze provided Alexis with, not another word was spoken between them. Why Blaze did it remained a mystery and she didn't seem to be speaking on it. Nor did she comment on anything the Meta Human said. But she did agree to get a bit of rest before the final showdown. **

** Erika's soft voice addressed each of them, asking them to rest now. Nodding to her, Blaze was the first one out of the attic, walking down the old steps until she found one of the guest rooms. Blaze knew immediately she would have no problem falling asleep for a small ounce of sleep. Walking around the large guest bed, she opted to take the floor once more. Pulling one of the smaller white cotton pillows with her, she laid down on the carpet (No sexual jokes, kids! LOL! ). Laying on her right side, she closed her eyes to quickly drift off to sleep. She knew the others would either agree to sleep or not bother, but if Blaze was going in for a long haul, she needed to charger her fire power. Blaze slept peacefully for those few short hours until Erika quietly walked inside the guest room, waking herself up and any of the others who did sleep. **

** Stirring within her sleep, Blaze's eyes fluttered open followed by a small yawn. Rubbing the sleep from her eyes, she got to her feet more slowly, still groggy from sleeping. She quickly stretched with a loud pop of her bones contracted which they usually did. Erika's nurturing voice flowed inside her head, notifying each of them, it was time. Walking outside of the guest bedroom, Blaze stopped for a second. She never actually stopped to smell the roses. And for that time, she did just that, enjoying the silence and peace before each of them would face a brutal battle. After a few precious moments, Blaze walked upstairs to the attic once more. Her boots lightly pressing into the hardened wood, which creaked to her presence. Spotting Erika ripping a piece of a spell from her book, she nodded to her. **

"I'm ready."

** Blaze was dying to unleash some fire power, better to get out her aggressions on the enemy then her friends who stood by her through thick and thin. Fox hoped Guardian was having better luck with finding Storm and Karen, hopefully those two could help in anyway while the others rescued Cameron. Until then, Erika, Haleigh, Alexis, and herself would finally put to bed this end game once and for all. **

:: Not saying a word to Blaze the rest of the night, Alexis followed the others into the bedroom and took a seat in one of the decorative chairs in the room. She had already had a pretty decent nap before Kelly decided to pay her a visit...so Alexis was pretty much refreshed. Nevertheless, the meta human rested her head back and allowed her eyes to close for a little, allowing her body to rest. ::

:: After about a couple of hours, the blonde heard Erika enter the room quietly. Lifting her head, she had been awake for quite some time. Sitting forward, her eyes shifted down to Blaze seeing her arise from her slumber. Quietly standing from the chair that she was previously sitting at, it had actually been a relaxing couple of hours--Alexis was able to process what exactly was going on with The Six...and her own personal life. She afterall, was thrown into this huge ordeal right after she had come home from her two week caper, therefore didn't have much time for it to sink in. Watching the three woman prepare for the battle that was to come, Alexis simply snapped her fingers as her current outfit's energy molecules dematerialized and rematerialized into a completely different attire---black lowrise, bootcut, leather pants, matching stiletto healed boots, and a form fitting indigo blue wife beater inspired tank that rested an inch above her pant line and had a metallic silver lightning bolt logo on the chest. Alexis wasn't much into the "wonder woman" outfit right now....leather pants and a simple tee suited her just well at the moment. Pulling her blonde locks back into a sleek ponytail, she nodded to the woman, indicating that she was ready. ::

"Ready."

<< a blast of thunder heralds the opening of a stepping disc. Spellbinder emerges forth, looking evil and unholy, yet still erotic and powerful. her new costume definately suits her. just wait till Kelly and Prophet get a load of her new look.>>

<< she walked along with a lofty elegant disdain, her encompassing cape sweeping over objects and space and wrapping them in cold dark shadows as she passes by. Making her way to where her sister is. she bursts into the room...and stands there tall and menacing , looking very detatched from humanity as she looks upon her sister>>

where did alison go? is that low rent sprite erika FINALLY to put her money where her mouth is?

** Blaze had no need for any sort of clothing change, she had her own natural form of element to rely on, fire. Calmly, small rivets of flames ran across Foxfire's body, engulfing the outline of her body in a heating inferno. Flowing down her legs the fire swept around her clothing until lately her fiery locks caught fire as well. Her eyes began to lose the green tint before the familiar yellow shade was replaced. Seeing Morgan burst through the scene, Blaze calmly peered up at her sister. **

"Guardian has gone on a journey by herself looking for Ororo, she needs her guidance while we battle Kelly."

** Each person in the group looked completely different, Spellbinder with hardly any attire, Shockwave's new costume, and Blaze's own fiery form. Glancing from Morgan to Erika, Blaze raised an invisible brow. **

"I believe so. Do not worry about Guardian, she will be save and when the time is right she will return to us. She needs answers to a few riddles."

< Erika was somewhat surprised to see Morgan standing before them in her costume that was nothing less than depraved as she entered the attic room and immediately engaged Blaze in conversation. Her behavior recently had become so sporadic and unsettling that Erika wondered if she would be okay. She had definitely given into her connection to Limbo but Erika just wasn't sure how far. She wondered who this Ororo character was. She had heard both Morgan and Alison as well as the others and they seemed to hold her in high regards. She seemed very level headed and understanding and she wondered how with that kind of guidance that Spellbinder had come to this. >

"I'm not one for eavesdropping but I couldn't resist here.. We need to get going. Morgan, do you wish to come along?"

< She knew the Sorceress Supreme would probably say no but you couldn't blame Erika for putting herself out there once again. >

<< Morgan looked upon her sister..with no visible reaction to what she said about Guardian going to Ororo. She turned her head at the sound of Erika>>

hmph...you again.

<< she stretches her arms upward....before lowering them down and tossing her hair back with a look of haughty feeling>>

not that im interested in saving that bottom feeder Cameron. I just want to smack your mother around. But i warn you...if you get in my way..YOU can get some of the same treatment...and when this is OVER...ALL BETS ARE OFF!!

<< her face partially enshrouded in shadow, she grinned with such grim, demonic depravity as she leaned in toward Erika...staring her down as her cape spreads out behind her..looking like a blue/black, jagged water fall as the winds rise>>

<<true enough, as Erika saw, Spellbinder's behavior was wild and eratic...and predatory agressive. she was obviously no longer the woman they knew of several hours ago, but aside from afew minor displays of violence toward erika....there was no indication just how BAD things could get. the point of no return was at hand....some would be saved, while OTHERS would fall...and just as one situation was dealt with...another one...LONG OVER DUE would come blasting into the fore front. this group and its allies would once again be tested to their very foundation. But for now, it seemed, that there was definately a slim sense of hope...as Erika, Halgieh, ALexis and Blaze prepared themselves, while Morgan stood nearby...SHE was more than prepared>>

:: The wonderful silence that filled the guest room was short lived as Morgan made her "grand" appearence once again. Shifting her eyes upwards showing a slight roll, the meta human tucked her slender hands in her back pockets. Watching both Erika and Morgan exchange words, Alexis quietly listened knowing any sound from her would distract Morgan and cause an uprising. They needed to get this damn mission over with so perhaps they could turn the now savage Morgan back to normal...Ha...which was saying a lot. ;) Pressing her soft lips together, the blonde cleared her throat to gain the attention of Erika. ::

"Can we leave now?"

"I--"

Haleigh sucked in a sharp breath... she decided NOT to respond to Alexis' first comment... as Blaze returned, Haleigh let go of the shelf, standing up straight again. Her voice was firm, but in that unconvincing way that Alexis knew was fueled by pure stubborness.

"I'm Fine."

She deadpanned, eyeing Blaze. She didnt know the DETAILS of the discussion Blaze had just had with Alison... but she was willing to bet ANYTHING that her name came up... and that Alison warned Blaze about helping her.... her suspicions were only confirmed by Blaze's cryptic apology.

"What the HELL are you talking about?!"

She demanded... she WISHED she could help? she COULD help, it was just a matter of being more concerned about staying in Alison's good graces... and that was bad news. Hales was quickly distracted though... as Blaze apologized to Alexis and sealed it with a kiss... Haleigh was visibly shocked... and she didnt have the presence of mind to hide it... as this time, she was just taken by surprise. When she started regaining the ability to think again, this first thought was generated: All the people in this room she could have kissed, and she picked ALEXIS?? Christ Almighty.... Haleigh stared after Blaze as she left as though she'd just popped open a third eye.

Erika suggested they all get some rest... and if Haleigh DID sleep.... it would've been unlikely that she'd been able to tonight... not with this terrible feeling she'd had... not with the pain she'd just experienced. She followed the others downstairs, but went to the living room instead so that she wouldn't bother anyone. She sat on the couch and tried to meditate... but it was useless. She got up and began to pace back and forth. She HAD to know what was going on.... she never felt like this because she was in danger. She contacted CI... it was late... or early, depending on how you looked at it... but there was ALWAYS someone at CI. A male voice answered on the frequency.

>>CI Base, Operator.
"This is Director Davidoff... I want a report on the last mission."
>>Good Morning Director... lets see... actually.. there hasn't been one for days... not since the failure of the nuke interception... you havn't ordered anything more than research on the possible recovery of the nukes.... did you want the progress on that?
"No... no. check for updates on my parents... look for security detail on the name Meridian."
>>Okay... nothing alarming... no suspicious activity. Robert Meridian had a routine dentist checkup... the doctor commented on his wonderful flossing skills. Last medical exams were 4 months ago, both are healthly as can be.
"I want you to send a couple more suits out there for under the radar protection. Get that done now. Where is Alluisi?"
>>Right Away. Hmm... she's on location at a photoshoot in New Zealand. Should return in four days.
"Alright... send me some gear... serious stuff... and the newest prototype suit. that will be all... i want notification of any new developments."
>>Yes ma'am.

Haleigh continued to pace. She tapped into phone lines and called Cassandra's cell phone. No Answer... voicemail full. She tried again. she manipulated her way into the voicemail and deleted some message from Cass' boyfriend... and then left one of her own. She was worried... and she practically demanded to be called back instantly. She disconnected and stopped pacing, turning to look out the window. She was frazzled and her body tired.... and she could do nothing but wait to hear back.

Erika came in and told her it was time to go. Haleigh nodded and turned around... there were a few metal cases that had appeared.... and Hales got busy suiting up... in the latest prototype tech... it was body contouring... and somewhat resembled the black leather Xmen suits of late... not NEARLY as revealing as Morgan's.... but at least it would offer some protection... the other gear was weaponry... and Haleigh armed herself quickly before rejoining the group.

"Alright... let's get this thing DONE."

** Hmmmm, could dear Haleigh be jealous of a kiss given to Alexis instead of her? No one would ever know for Black Widow never commented on such issues, not that she would. Slowly, Blaze moved to the side gracefully, pressing the tips of her fingers together in a triangle shape. She was using a ninja technique she learned from a dear friend, Elektra. Breathing in deeply, Foxfire closed her yellow irises. With this special technique came the ability to see a few seconds a head of the future. Having a strong background in martial arts, Blaze had mastered the skill. **

** Her senses revealed to her Witchfire's lighthouse, heavily armed with demons and other entrapments. Some of them were camouflaged while others were guarding every nook and alcove available. The visualization was only in third person with hardly any coloring. But it faded fast with Blaze opening her eyes. **

"She's well guarded like you said..."

** Her eyes moved onto Haleigh, the red head looked frazzled and Blaze could FEEL it, especially a hint of pain. What was going on with her? Fox was dying to know but she didn't question her. Bright, brilliant green eyes shinned through Foxfire's blasting form. Her eyes were so breathtaking, they seemed to be so rich in green tonight. Almost like she was preparing herself for an event, but it wasn't this battle but something else....it was Morgan. Marking Spellbinder with her eyes, Foxfire regarded her weaknesses and her strengths. Blaze knew a weakness Morgan had....something no one else knew about. Truth was, she wouldn't allow Morgan to harm Haleigh or Alexis....even if it meant fighting her sister to the death. The odds were in Morgan's father, she was much more powerful but Blaze couldn't be underestimated. She was still planning on returning her sibling a favor from that brutal punch she landed. But only if Spellbinder got out of hand with her teammates, which would happen in the inferno. **

"Lead the way Erika."

** Blaze kept her eyes guarded onto Spellbinder once more. Turning her head to the side, she looked over at Alexis. Smirking to herself, Blaze didn't regret the kiss and she didn't care what anyone thought. But the question was why? Was Blaze hiding a secret infatuation for the Meta Morph? Or was she trying to make Haleigh jealous? Maybe it was neither of those, who knew? Blaze was a strange character to piece together, it was a fact she took pride in. Who was Blaze Fielding? In just a few seconds, they would all find out. **

< Erika nodded as the group dissappeared in a flurry of sparkling white lights and orbs and reappeared a few hundred feet from where the Lighthouse was. The Sun was just setting and the sky looked like it was on fire as the sun was on the lowest point on the ocean landscape. The moutainous green hills gave them perfect coverage as they were able to survey the entire area perfectly. A luminous red mist seemed to surround the top of the lighthouse as bright red bolts of lightning flashed in the sky as thunder could be heard. The entire bottom part of the Lighthouse seemed enshrouded in shadow as there were hordes of Shadow Demons scowering the area. This was where she was going to need her team. Some would have to fight the Demons and some would have to come with her to free Cameron. Once Cameron was freed the group could work on getting rid of Kelly since that would have to be number one priority, plus destroying her Book of Shadows. She looked at the group. >

"Okay, as you can see many of the areas of the Lighthouse are hidden in shadow and magick. Here is how I think it should work. Kelly has probably already sensed us but we might be able to work around this. Blaze I would like you to navigate down there to the Shadow Demons with Alexis.. your superhuman senses should be able for you to navigate without any problems. Haleigh will come with me and I will be invisible. I want Kelly to think you have come alone... You are going to have to hold her back while I free Cameron. Then we can move on to the next phase... We don't have time to argue about this. Morgan, you go wherever you feel needed. Now Good Luck and I hope to see you all when this is over..."

< Grabbing Haleigh by the hand, the two orbed into the top level of the Lighthouse and Haleigh found herself in front of Cameron while Kelly was sitting Indian Style in a circle seeming to be meditating. A crude and stereophonic laugh could be heard as Kelly rose to her feet and Erika watched invisible from a distance. This was it. This was endgame. The time was now. Erika sent a Mental Thought to Cameron to ensure that she was there and able to help as he was probably very confused. >

"Cameron.. This is Erika.. don't worry I am about to free you.. don't act any differently.. I have a way. Just hang tight..."

<< Morgan scoffed at Erika...and turned her back...making her way past the jagged rocks...and sneering at the shadow demons..as her caped flowed and her hair blew in the wind>>

that vagabond is hiding up at the top somewhere...ill just go up there and flush her out myself. i dont care about Cameron..i just want to slap HER around a few times before they have their "moment of truth"

<<Spellbinder laughed softly to herself in an evil, yet content way as she made herself inside the tower.....her high heeled boots clicking along the stone floors...as surveyed her surroundings>>

:: Cameron sat in the chair yet again as he had watched all of the changes to the Lighthouse and surrounding environment with his mind's eye. It was beginning to be nightfall which would mean that the Six should show up soon. His mind's eye was giving him an almost bird's eye aerial view of the surrounding area. He was hoping that someone would show up. Suddenly he saw the swirl of magick as a group of the Six. He saw Haleigh, Blaze, Alexis and Morgan of all people arriving a few hundred feet away which left him extremely confused. Why was Morgan who despised him more than anyone besides Alison standing with the Six and not back with Alison most likely in Illustra sulking that her baby brother was still alive. It didn't make sense to him. But whoever it was, he was excited to see somebody. ::

"Bout damn time.. Now get up here and get me guys..."

:: The thought ran through his head as he returned his mind's eye and sat looking at his mother meditating almost waiting for them to arrive and sure enough Haleigh appeared right in front of him. He wanted more than anything to call out to her to let her know he was behind her, but he didn't want to risk getting her hurt by his mother. Either way if she confronted Kelly or not, she would get hurt. He had a lot of time to discern the situation, channel his power of premonition. He had seen so many things. Blaze and Alexis fighting Shadow Demons. Morgan actually aggressively attacking Kelly. It looked to be a battlefield, but no matter how hard he tried, he couldn't see the outcome. It had always been where his sister surpassed him. She could see multiple outcomes. Possibilities. For a moment, Cameron almost wished he had the potential for magick that his sisters did. They were powerful. Unafraid. Strong. It was something that he would NEVER admit to Alison if his life depended on, but when one is uncertain of their life at this point, they sometimes come to realizations they never thought about before. Suddenly he heard the voice of Erika and was completely relieved. His savior had arrived. ::

"Oh thank GOD! Get me out of here and set in me in the direction of Mommy Dearest!"

- Kelly sat in the moment, meditating and biding her time for the perfect moment. She had seen them teleport in. Her powers were getting stronger. This was the moment they had all been waiting for. Witchfire was going to obliterate them all. Crush them into the ground. She was going to grind their bones to dust and then some. She was ready and she was powerful. Sensing that Haleigh had just entered her arena, Kelly laughed as it could be heared everyone in the area of the lighthouse. She got off of her feet as she stood up and turned around to face the woman. Her stature was extremely large and she seemed to encompass everything as if the room was apart of her. She looked very demonic as Shadow was cast over Haleigh as the Demoness stood before her. Darkness seemed to engulf the entire room. She looked at the human lightning rod with such hatred and disdain that it sent chills down Haleigh's spine. She had seen some pretty horrible things in her life but nothing like this, of course this was only a preview of the pain that was to come Haleigh's way in the future. Witchfire stepped towards the girl as she held out her hand and seemed to blow a kiss that sent Haleigh flying back into one of the stone walls in the Lighthouse, cracking and breaking the stone as it went, almost knocking her right out of the building, but Witchfire had shown some restraint. She had always like to savor her kills. Before she had always been in the background and her manipulation of the Six had been a testament to her namesake but now she had POWER and certainly enough to kill this pathetic group of Meta Humans and Mutants. -

"Why Hello.. and Welcome to my Domain, Black Widow. Let's see if you can live up to your name.. but don't forget! I have been weaving DEADLY WEBS since you were an itch in your father's pecker! Now GET UP and FACE ME!!!"

- With a snap of her fingers, Haleigh was shot up to her feet as she awaited the woman's move. She was ready to fight! There was plenty of time to kill the others. Sensing that Spellbinder had now entered the Lighthouse as she became extremely irritated. -

"Well by the Goddess. I see that SLUTBINDER has decided to join the fight.. At least I know she is WORTHY of a fight to me! I can sense the darkness in her! The change! I went through one myself recently!"

- Her voice echoed in the hall down to Morgan as the walls began to rumble. She had heard everything Witchfire had been saying and was probably boiling at this point. -

"By all MEANS Morgan! I know you can hear me! Come on up! I have a two for ONE special on MURDERS this evening!"

<< Morgan stood tall, looking with no visible reaction at the obvious makeshift decor. this building was uninhabited until recent...though it now reeked of the essence of Kelly.>>

this woman clearly didnt bone up on her sense of decor while she was in exile.

<< Kelly's voice thundered through the stone tower....and Morgan heard her loud and clear>>

hmmm well she must be throwing HERSELF into this little bargain. she's so cheap and tawdry she could ONLY get over for free anyway....the decrepit wench

<< a blast of thunder crashes through the tower as a disc snaps open beneath Morgan's feet and in the twinkling of an eye , she teleports to the top of the tower........as the winds bow to her command and began to flow fast and vicious...>>

<<her own voice traveled on the winds...sounding so evi and sinfull as she glared at Cameron. even he had to notice the changes in her. the complete cross over from "good" to EVIL. her savage, unholy costume...her dark countenance....>>

come out and show yourself you mummified craphound. you've got a free ticket to get your face rearranged!

- Kelly was delighted to see Spellbinder come at her call. It showed that she was now truly evil. Something had happened to her. Witchfire could sense it all around her. It had changed her and tainted her. Morgan seemed much more formidable than she did when she had first noticed her in NYC. Her beauty and powerful persona was almost inspiring. It was a shame that she would have to squash the Sorceress as if she was nothing more than a mosquito. She looked at Spellbinder with the same intensity and coldness that was reflected in Morgan's own eyes as she flashed a demonic smile, her fanged teeth showing. -

"Ah Morgan.. Let's not resort to Petty Name Calling.. and besides you're getting up there in age yourself.. I like the outfit. A Girl after my own heart! I would actually like to see that.. your heart.. in my hand.. beating for a few seconds before dying off. Like you will be soon... You're move..."

- She turned to Haleigh and gawked at her. -

"And let's not forget YOU, young blood! Just MAKE your MOVE!"

<< Kelly seemed to have gained a few inches in height. she was now at eye level with herself>>

<< this was a true standoff as each woman glared at one another. if looks could kill, then both would have burned a hole through each other by now. the air was turbulent in AND outside of the tower thanks to Morgan's deep seeded agitation...and thunder rumbled, almost as if it were murmuring to try to calm the demon sorceress>>

<< they stood facing each other...with Cameron off to the side along a wall. >>

Offering me the first move? Well, you've certainly GAINED manners since we last crossed swords. You were such an unkept, untalented and massively incompetent witch, i wondered why Mystech would even LOWER their standards to have you in their midst. but even then, you had to learn the hard way, that you were NO MATCH for me.

<< Spellbinder's stepping discs allowed her to teleport with the speed of thought. She dropped down into a disc. which shut and opened beneath Kelly...as she emerged upward...she grabbed Kelly by ankles...applying painfull pressure but STILL it wasnt the full measure of her Shift X class super strength. as she snatched Kelly up from the ground and swung her like a rag doll. Swinging Kelly horizotonally around in a crescent pattern, Spellbinder slams her face first into the wall, before swinging her to the OTHER side and slamming her into that part of the wall, then flinging her away with savage force across the floor>>

<< she stands posed...with a wicked glint in her eye, waiting for Kelly to recover. for surely the woman was made of far sterner stuff than she was when last they met>>

:: Prophet watched as the shadowing appearance of Morgan Victoria appeared within the top level of the Lighthouse. It was like Extreme Makeover: Demon Edition came to her house and did the most psychotic things possible to her and then there she was. She was taller but much more refreshed looking like she had been to a spa. He was glad to see that her Terri Hatcheresque Crow's Feet were gone but everything else pretty much scared the crap out of him. Her look was cold and stern and Cameron was wondering what the hell was going on with her. He whispered back to Erika wanting to know what had been going on while he was away. He hadn't been gone that long. But of course he didn't know what Kelly's magick was capable was. Maybe he had been away for months or even a year. This was really starting to scare him. ::

Erika! What is going on with Morgan's Dominatrix Demoness look? What happened to her? And why is she here at all? None of this makes any sense? How are those chains coming along!"

:: Cameron watched as Morgan made quick work at the first move to Kelly. She was a deadly Femme Fatale and though Cameron didn't want to admit it, he was rooting for ANYBODY who attempted to kill his mother at this point. When he had wanted to know who his family was he didn't expect for any of it to be like this. Part of it comforted him and part of it made him wish he would have never found out anything. The only saving grace at this point was Erika. For some reason he just felt this unbrakable trusting bond with her. She made him feel safe. She was a sister. Not like Alison. He never felt anything from her. She was always so cold and distant. She was like a stranger. He felt closer to Erika whom he had just met days ago than to Alison whom he had known for months. It was kind of tragic. He looked as his mother was trying to face off attacks from Morgan and in the near future Haleigh. It was going to be a blood bath. His heart went out to Haleigh. He wanted to help her so bad. But those damn chains were stopping him. He had felt so utterly useless this entire time and he was mere moments away from being free and showing his mother just what she GAVE up and NEVER wanted. He would kill that bitch dead! ::

** Appearing on the battlefield thanks to Erika's mode of transportation, Blaze seemed unfazed by this. Her body bonded with Erika's white magick for her to be stable without feeling light headed or nauseous. The sun's rays shinned down at them, making Blaze cringe at such beautiful rays of light, which bothered her sensitive eyes. Darkness was upon them and Blaze would be at her most powerful. Grinning to herself, her eyes shadowed over to a silver coating, allowing her to see in the shadows, behind her, and including complete darkness. She nodded to Erika before walking off, pulling Shockwave by the front end of her new costume. **

"Now is NOT the time to be shy Alexis...I don't bite...much."

** She playfully winked, stepping over a large gray rock descending down the hill to battle the Shadow Demons. Her flaming statue moved quickly past the lower ends of green grass. Until she ran her left arm out to stop Shockwave, "hold." She whispered under her breath, tilting her head to the right. A soft stammer of boots were heard marching down in there direction. Taking a hold of Alexis' waist, she pulled her around behind the trunk of a thick Evergreen tree. There bodies touching once more, with Blaze peering around to spot the Demons. **

"Five of them approaching, let's use the conquer and divide manner."

**Jumping up, Blaze pulled her delicate body up the tree limb, hidden above by some thick leaves and greenery. Crouching down on the limb, she could smell the awful stench of their odor. Making eye contact with Alexis, who was on the ground level, she made a hand signal to show there were two coming in Alexis' direction. **

** The Shadow demons were also traveling under the branch Blaze was kept on top of. The larger demon who resembled a dark soldier with eerie glowing eyes, turned his plasma gun on Shockwave about to fire, his partner doing the same. Suddenly, Blaze swung out from the tree branch, hanging upside down with her legs tightly wrapped around the branch like that of a python. Gripping tightly around the one Demon's throat, Blaze roughly twisted it in a second. A sickening snap was heard, making him drop to the ground in a heap. Swinging her right arm, Blaze yanked the plasma gun from his partner's hands, who was in shock. Pulling herself back up, Blaze grinned smelling the freight in her enemy. Her eyes turned to see Shockwave making quick detail out of the other two. Getting to her feet, Blaze skillfully walked across the upper limb gracefully, keeping eye on the second Shadow Demon. Pointing the gun down, she fired purposely missing. The sound of a strong spearing sound was heard with the bright yellow blast hitting into the ground, inches from the soldiers' feet. He jumped back in surprise, a roar escaping his mouth. Chunks of soil and grass flew around. Blaze fired again, this time a different angle. Another more powerful roar escaped his lips. Foxfire was carefully moving him into the line of the sun to blind him! And just when he was, she jumped down onto the grass kicking him in the back. Reloading the gun with one hand, she executed a powerful round house kick to the back of his helmet. A low moan escaped Blaze who felt the immense pain from her ankle. He turned and got to his feet, charging at Blaze. Waiting until the last second, she dropped to her feet, sweeping him. He fell clumsily to the ground. Rolling to her left, Blaze aimed the gun and fired, hitting him right in the helmet, which exploded in a cloud of black dust. His head rolling away with his glowing eyes dimmed, he was dead. **

"I'm so good!"

** She grinned when the last Shadow Demon slammed powerfully into her. Knocking Foxfire down onto the ground. Gasping for air, the Demon pulled on her clothing roughly tossing her into a tree trunk. Smashing into it, Blaze cried out in pain. Slumping down it, a large crack was indented onto the trunk. His heavy stomps slammed into the ground. Dazed and a bit confused, Blaze was slow to get up. It wasn't until a heavy gloved hand lifted her up by the throat. Squeezing on her wind pipe, Blaze's eyes leaked small droplets of tears. Her body became inflamed with hot lava, which the Shadow Demon dropped her quickly. Sucking in a quick breath, she fired a bolt of intense heat and fire, the same temperature as the sun. It splattered onto his armor, leaving it to burn. He began to rip it off with a roar. Rubbing her throat gently, Blaze glared over at him. Noticing the large tree behind him, Blaze noted it. Cartwheeling to the side, she lured him in and he fell for it. Leaning against the tree, she raised a brow. Aiming his gun, he fired. Listening to the blast, Blaze jumped to the right. The blast slammed into the tree with a powerful explosion of wood chips as the sound of it severed from the trunk, falling towards the last Shadow Demon. Blaze peered up from the ground to see it topple onto him, pinning him down. With a grin, Foxfire jumped to her feet. Lifting her hands into the air, they began to glow a bright blue/green tinted flame. Manipulating the shape of her fire, she created a large fire dome, hurling it at the fallen Demon. Hitting the target, the fire began to circle him, cutting off his air supply, if he had one. Either way, it would burn him severely. Plus the added wood would make it much more worse. Pulling out her two sais, Blaze hurled them at his boots, pinning him in further. The hot inferno beginning to catch him on fire. But this was taking too long for Foxfire. Pulling out her lighter, she lite a cigarette. Taking a brief puff from it, she flicked the cigarette onto the wood, striking it on fire and burning the Shadow Demon to a crisp. **

** Foxfire ran to check up on Shockwave's progress. She knew there would be more demons coming, but Blaze didn't mind. Leaning against the side of the tree trunk, she watched Alexis' move her body around. **

"Nice form."

** She smirked while folding her arms across her chest. Blaze seemed much more energized then usual, but it was from Shockwave, the energy she possessed. It helped burn her own fire. Fox detected something else within the air, something more powerful between herself and Alexis. On alert, Foxfire watched over Alexis, making sure nobody ambushed her. Even if Alexis wasn't so fond of Blaze, she was an excellent ally to have on the side. **

:: Reappearing in a mess of white and blue orbs, Alexis servayed the area that she just arrived at. Listening intently to Erika as the witch spoke, Alexis however, didn't bother to look at her. Her eyes kept scanning the area, making sure to make a mentel not of everyting around her. Looking to Erika as she finished up the plan of action, she watched as both her and Haleigh dissapeared again, leaving only Blaze and herself. Turning to Blaze, the inferno gently pulled on her tank top forcing her in the direction she was heading. ::

"Get off of me."

:: Alexis scoffed as she pulled herself away from Blaze's grasp. She knew the woman was only playing, but Alexis wasn't much of a flirter...with woman. Rolling her eyes, she followed Blaze's lead, knowing the woman had enhanced senses and would hear anything that would be heading their way. And without fail, Blaze indeed heard some Shadow Demons making their way towards the two woman. Being pulled yet again by Blaze, the two woman hid behind a tree awaiting the mass of Shadow Demons. Nodding to Blaze as she spoke about her brief "divide and conqour" plan, she watched the woman climb up tree until she disappeared within the brush. Pressing her lips together, she awaited Blaze to make the first move--making sure to keep as silent as possible. Then finally, a stomach turning crack could be heard, and Alexis knew it was one of the Shadow Demon's necks. Taking her que from that, the meta human jumped out from behind the tree and thrusted her hand forward, sending a bolt of lightning right at one of the Demons. The demon exploded into an inferno of flames, before dissapearing before her. Without missing a beat, the other demon near by slammed the butt of his weapon into Alexis stomach, causing the blonde to grunt in pain. Lifting the butt of the gun up, it made contact with Alexis' chin, sending the meta human flying backwards in a heep. Wincing in pain, the shadow demon came stomping over ready to obliterate Alexis once and for all. ::

:: Alexis pushed her body off the ground and flipped back into a standing position. Jumping into the air, she did a very skillful reverse roundhouse kick, slamming her foot into the demon's head. The demon stumbled backwards, allowing Alexis to continue on with her attack. Slamming the back of her fist into the side of the demon's helmet, it was followed by a left hook in the same spot, followed by an uppercut with her opposite hand, sending the demon flying backwards. Thrusting her hand forward, the demon began to shake violently until his entire body burst into pieces--Alexis had electricuted him from the inside out. Looking to Blaze, hearing her comment about her moves, Alexis shook her head with a small smile on her face. ::

"Oh shut up."

:: Brushing some fallen blonde locks away from her face, Alexis glanced around her surroundings noticing no other Shadow Demons around. ::

"Okay...that was too easy. There has to be more around here....do you sense anything Blaze?"
