::Gesturing ala Nas::
Does this happen to anyone else, since my early teens I've always had vivid dreams, and I am always partly aware in my dreams because my conscious mind knows things such as I can't be killed in my dream. To put that into context, I've had nightmares and can consciously remember being scared and then realising that I can't be killed so take action because of this - actions like getting up and walking off, fighting back etc. I can't remember all the specific details of my dreams but I can remember the thought and that action or that I took action.
When I got to my mid teens I had my first 'DREAM' (I have no other word for them). These often happen at the end of my sleep cycle and are incredibly detailed, normally set somewhere I've been recently but sometimes places I've never been at all. Most scarily, when I awake I can remember everything for a time including my emotional state in the dream. I'll forget the dream over time, it'll slip from my concious mind with the memory of my emotions during the dream leaving last.
So, deep dark secret: I write the events of the dream down and analyse the key points. There are always things in these dreams that are more poignant than others, it's those things I analyse. I'm not going to say they come true, its all down to interpretation but, for example, before my girlfriend and I knew she was pregnant I dreamt that we were having sex and a hand reached from her vagina and grabbed my penis. She took the test and it came back negative. I didn't believe the test, the dream was too strong, so I kept at her to take another test. She did a week later and it showed she was pregnant. My girlfriend had no such pregnancy dream and they say that women normally do, men don't.
Coincidence? There may be a thread on here made years ago with me talking about the exact same thing, Ddeams. That one was about a Lion behind the door and a mouse on the other side, some other things happened that I can no longer clearly remember but the analysis came back that I was in for a profound change /shock and it had to do with work. Week later I was faced with redundancy. I acted on the analysis and had already started looking for another job. Other such dreams (which are always solely about me and never about anyone else) have also happened and I've never told a soul before. I've just acted. Partly why I'm back here to be honest but now, I'm feeling a little more 'open'.
So, I'm curious about two things.
i: Is anyone else receptive to their dreams in this way.
ii: I need further guidance on how to analyse my dreams, any recommendations? I use the internet at the moment but I want to go further with this.
You may now laugh/flame.
My recent Dream 3/10/2013
I dreamt that my brother went to Uni and met my long lost daughter that I didn't know I had. This was in Liverpool, and so he invited her down to London so she could meet the family at a family meal in a restaurant. I literally had this meal the night of the dream. We couldn't tell her I was her Dad my Mum wouldn't allow it, she was too young. At the end of the meal she turned to me and said the experience was weird, so I told her that I'd tell her why when she was older.
When they - my brother and daughter - left to go Uni I fell to my knees and cried, waking to remember every vivid detail and emotion and other details like my Dad being there as well as my Mum, but not my GF and son. Weirdly my parents and I spoke to my daughter but not my brother.
I need the key points analysed.

Not being able to tell the truth

Crying and Love
