The Island of Aerie

<< She watched as Alison appeared in the doorway with a young male companion. As she ran through the corridor and told the guards to stand down, Hazel's heart filled with a heavy emotion she was not prepared for. >>

"She looks so powerful..so..regal.."

Alison: "HAZEL!? You're HERE!?"

<< Her reaction was parallel to what Hazel was feeling. The two had been apart for so long. To see her standing there in all of her glory, after everything she had accomplished? It was overwhelming. It was like a mother looking at the daughter she had raised finally take the reigns and surpass her. It was a beautiful moment to her...and even if everything ended up TERRIBLE..nothing could take that moment of pride and resolve away from her. The two began to run towards each other with anticipation and tears as they embraced each other in a deep and long hug, with Hazel burying her face into Alison's hair and melting into her body. She whispered to Alison. >>

"My sweet girl...my sweet Alison. I have dreamt about laying eyes on you for so long...and here you are..."

<< She pulled back from the hug but still held Alison in her arms. >>

"So big and strong. Everything I ever pictured you would be. Taking on the mantle of Barbara Minerva herself no less! Oh Alison you have so much to be proud of!"

<< Hugging her deeply once more. She watched the young man out of the corner of her eyes before locking her gaze with Apollo for a moment before looking back at Alison. >>

"I know I probably shouldn't..but Alison ever since The Blue Moon..well actually ever since the return of BARBAS I've wanted to reach out to you..felt compelled to..my paintings, they all pointed to the fact that you might need me once again..and I tried to ignore it..tried to pretend you were too strong to need an old witch like me..."

<< Hazel interlocked her fingers with Alison as she stared upon her, her curious mix of one brown and one hazel eye gazing upon Alison with a warmth that not many felt when looking upon Alison Marble. >>

"But the Goddess had other plans...ORORO had other plans...and here I am.."

<< Smirking. >>

"And of course I hope you still remember the virtue of respecting your elders..stubborn as you are you need me..and who knows...THEY may need me. All I know is that the winds of fate have pointed me here for a reason..and I refuse to go against their infinite wisdom..."

<< Staring at Xavier. >>

"..no matter how good the beer at the pub may BE."

[turning back to Alison]

"Now...invite an old woman inside. It's colder than I like and I've come a long way..."

<< She began to walk PAST Alison and past Xavier with a kind of confidence that could only come from a woman as powerful as Hazel Hawthorne. Hazel joked with Xavier. >>

"...and BEFORE you attempt to disarm me with that tight little bum and quicksilver charm I will have you know it will take far MORE than a pretty face and a paid for education to impress me. Though...that shouldn't discourage you from trying."

<< Into the Mansion she went as her familiar followed her. Both would watch the trail of willowisps dissipate before them as the soft warm glow of fireflies could be seen all throughout the front of the estate almost as if they had been WATCHING the encounter intently. It was clear that Hazel was on a mission. >>

Simon: Look..Ava, this **** buddies thing has been nice but it's boring me. < Simon looked at her seriously. >This whole thing has changed my world. I need to be able to have a conversation with you from time to time.

Raising both eyebrows, Ava was actually surprised at how frank he was being. But she also understood it.

"Fair enough."

Simon handed her his iPhone that displayed documents for a political action group called Vanguard. It was a group set out to help support mutants and other beings of non-human decent against hate groups and create a safe environment for them. Also to persecute those who tried to harm them. It was amazing...it was surprising actually. She knew that Simon had been effected deeply by what had happened with those children and what the purifiers mission was in general, but she didn't give him enough credit....she didn't think he would actually come up with something like this.

Simon: I guess it's time for me to use that to help others..otherwise...they might as well just reserve my seat in Hell...if hey haven't already.

Ava's eyes flicked upwards almost instantly, looking directly into Simon's--seeing how truthful he was in his statement.

"You don't belong in Hell, Simon.....trust me on that."

Ava knew a little something about Hell: she ruled the damn place. He didn't belong there, even at his worst Simon was no where near as awful as the things and people she had seen come across the Charon and Styx. No where near as awful as someone who carried the term 'ruler of the underworld'.

Looking back down at the document on the phone, Ava shook her head with amazement at what he was planning on doing.

Simon: Whaddya think..do you hate it? Make you anxious? Don't like it?

"I think this is absolutely amazing...truly amazing."

Giving him a warm smile, as she looked back up at him.

"You're going to help so many innocent people in ways you can't even imagine. But for you to do this, you will also be painting a giant target on your back for people like the purifers, and Mystech, and The Hellfire Club. But knowing you....you don't care about all that; in fact you thrive off of it. [letting out a small laugh] One of the things I admire about you."

Sliding his phone back to him, Ava took his hand within hers.

"What you went through last week was horrible. Something no one should ever have to experience......and i'm sorry that you were dragged into all of that. But if something good can come from this? I support it 110%."

Ava retracted her hands and sat back in her seat once more.

"Whatever you need, just let me know. I'm more than just your 'fuuck buddy', Simon...I'm your friend, alright?"

Ava: "You don't belong in Hell, Simon.....trust me on that."

< Simon smiled for a second. >

"Right..sorry, I forgot about your whole tour of The Underworld..I'm guessing we should pass on the this pomegranate glazed chicken then?"

< He had been slowly putting the pieces together based on things that he had heard from the others and things he had seen from her time in battle. He had figured out that Ava was somehow also Persephone..the Greek Goddess herself. He just didn't know how...but after everything he had seen lately, it didn't seem to matter that much. He knew her as Ava Cassadine and that's how she would remain to him. >

Persephone said:

< He listened to her words intently. She seemed to be okay with things, which made him a little more relaxed as she grabbed his hand offering support..before quickly retracting it before she let her touch linger TOO long..classic Ava move. >

"You're right..I mean I will be fine with it. I'm used to people trying to take me down in one way or another..I just thought I would need to let The Six know what I was planning. You all have remained hidden in plain sight for a long time..and that's understandable..however, now that we are associating together..it's only going to bring the spotlight CLOSER..and I could understand how some of you might not like or agree with that.."

< The waiter showed up. >

"I'll take the Duck Confit please.."

< He sat his menu down. >

"I've sent the legal documents over to Alycia Barnett at Charope who is looking them over, knowing she has all of your privacy and safety in mind, and I believe I have crossed every T and dotted all my I's but i'm wondering if it's something I need to talk to the rest of them about before I go on National Television..."

Melrose Place - Apartment 4

[ Sharon nodded silently in agreement as Nicolas spoke about Delilah and Alison. It was an impossible situation to be in and the way OUT seemed to be just as impossible to find! ]
stopping in front of Sharon as he ended. He placed a hand on her shoulder.

One thing I DO think I could have done more to stop was you leaving us. I wish you had not felt the need...I wish I had been there more for you somehow.

[ Sharon looked at Nicolas' hand on her shoulder and placed her own hand on his. In spite of her current form, her hands were as soft and smooth as he remembered, but her metallic silver nails were an quick reminder that the woman before him today was vastly different than the one he'd met as an adolescent.]

I don't think there's anything you could have done at the time, Nicolas. But your care is comforting, even now. Your father, Gustav...he would be SO PROUD to see you as you are today! How far you've come, the lives you've saved. I wonder though...what would he think if he saw me...no longer the woman he knew, but the...."vengeful Silver Swan"...

[ That was a question that would never get an answer, but it was definitely something Sharon wondered about. Not everyone had responded well to her being revived as a mutate. Haleigh and Delilah both admitted that much.]

At that time, It was for the best that I did leave.

[ She said as she looked at Nicolas]

I wasn't ready to be here, not like I originally thought. Haleigh was the first one to say it, when no one else...including me...could or would. We ALL talk about "coming back from the dead" as if it is as easy as BREATHING. But really, it's NOT.

ESPECIALLY when you come back...knowing that your husband...your son...or even your companion (Nicolas' adoptive father) are all STILL dead and there's no coming back for them!

To say that I was having an..."identity crisis" at that time would be putting it MILDLY.

[She actually laughs a bit as she squeezes Nicolas' hand and, satisfied that all is as it should be in Delilah's apartment, they exit together and make their way across the courtyard to the spiral staircase leading up to the last apartment to check- Apartment 4, Morgan's apartment.]

I've come and gone several times, and each time I come back, I'm reminded just how AWFUL it is to contemplate carrying on without my husband or my son in this world. But being back in the Cathedral, the place where I married Robert...where Kyle was chistened....and where I ultimately was unleashed upon the city in the current form I now have, it made me want to leave AGAIN...and this time, NEVER return. I was going to go back to Themyscira and avoid "man's world" forever.

[Up into Morgan's apartment the went. Sharon stopped and faced Nicolas, taking his hands into her own]

Alycia and Zachary convinced me to stay.

Mary Justice was...a "loose end" that nearly destroyed Cameron and Cassandra, not to mention claimed the lives of dozens of vulnerable mutants across the city. I can help make sure that doesn't happen again.

There are people in New York City and elsewhere who need help. I can protect the weak, and help to right wrongs....challenge the tolerance and acceptance of injustice. But in order to do that, I must leave the Six.

I've talked with Zachary, and with Oracle. Alycia and I both feel that we could be more effective by joining Oracle's team. I feel that it is the right time, and the right descision for me. But I don't want this to be like other times, where I left you...EVERYONE completely.

Rich moved aside so she could enter the apartment.

“Thank you.”

She wheeled inside into the entryway, then turned to face her host, who was ravenously eating the cookies she had brought.

Rich said:
Sorry about that. I guess I got carried away. There are a couple left if you wanted some...

“Oh honey, thank you, but they were a gift for YOU.”

She smiled warmly, then continued moving on into the apartment at large, her expression inquisitive, talking as she went.

“Have you ever consulted a nutritionist? Your power is…molecular manipulation? Biokinesis? Right? You should probably be put on an exact regimen of nutrients to supplement and maximize the way your body uses fuel. I can put you in touch with someone, if you like. Someone who understands people who have…challenging nutritional needs.”

She stopped and once again turned to face Rich.

“Other than that, how are you settling in?”

The Museum of Modern Art. Everything in here looked fuccking weird. Haleigh leaned back in her chair, her sunglasses pushed up onto the crown of her head, propping her hair back out of her face. She'd removed her leather jacket even before sitting down, but it didn't hurt her motorcyle-chic look. Her legs crossed at the knee, one suspended foot wiggling as she stared at some kind of abstract painting behind Isis. It made her feel instinctively, violently agressive. She gave up trying to make sense of it. Visual Art was Zach's thing.

Isis: I suddenly seem to have so much MORE time on my hands, since my...departure

'From Hellfire' was implied, but not spoken. Haleigh was hoping it wouldn't be a sore subject for Isis, because she needed to discuss a thing or two about Dominque's former Sisters -- or at least, one sister in particular.

"Well I will say this: Independence looks good on you."

Dominique: I felt like this before, when I realized that my goal shouldn't be to DESTROY Nicolas, but rather to watch over him and protect him.

"Enemies become friends, friends become enemies. Everything changes. We must learn to change and adapt as well. I'm glad you aren't one of those people who cling to foolish notions and false beliefs. You've proven to be quite open minded about ALL aspects of the Six, Nicolas included. If I never expressed my gratitude for that before, I'd like to now."

Haleigh replied sincerely, before taking a long sip of her Irish Coffee. A little Whiskey, a little Baileys, and a little coffee. It's never too early in the day for a good strong drink.

Isis: I'm sure he's told you about my decision to accept Miss York......Zizi's offer to join her emerging team, rather than to become a..."Six Reservist"

[Evenly]"Yes, I've heard a great deal about the little fledgling flock that Oracle is forming."

She chuckled at herself, after realizing how bitter she sounded. She gave a wry smile as their appetizers were delivered.

"I'm sorry, that came out a bit passive-agressive. It's just that Zach has been talking about it nearly nonstop. I count myself lucky he doesn't mention any of you while we're fuccking. I think it's great that some of our supporters have decided to band together and form a team of their own. After ALL.... The 'SIX' of us can't handle EVERY disease that ails our city. HOWEVER.... I guess I DID kind of assume you'd support the Six in a 'reservist' fashion, because of your nephew."

Isis: My very life lines seemed to have become more tied to...almost ENTANGLED with that of the Six's. I had no interest in sipping tea with Shadow Weaver OR watching her "PLAY HOUSE" with Arsenal.

Haleigh laughed.

"I used to despise Shadow Weaver. I'd have rather peeled my own skin off than spend any measure of time with her.... but as it turns out.... she's not so bad."

Haleigh's time with Karen was doing a lot more good than she expected. She was balancing on a razor blade at this point, trying to be the leader the team needed, trying to figure out what the hell all her 'visions' meant. All that PLUS the whole thing with Cameron. And here she was having lunch with someone ELSE Cameron had apperently pursued. She was consumed by ambivalence whenever he came to mind. Had she done the right thing? Had she done the wrong thing? Ethically or personally, the context changed the answers. It was something that just couldn't be neatly calculated. She'd spent too much time on it already. She had other, more pressing problems to deal with.

"If you don't mind, Dominque, there's something I'd like to discuss with you, while it's still fresh in your memory. I'm concerned about Malice. I was hoping you could provide some intel on her recent activities."

The Parthenon Hotel - Top Floor

Cameron said:

Delilah felt something akin to giddiness as Cameron agreed to removing the biggest pain in the ass thorn in their collective sides. She was fairly certain they would be up for the humanitarians of the year award when they pulled this off, removing that scum of humanity from the planet.

And she was glad that Cameron was taking the initiative. There were times in the past he probably would have acted the same way as the others, saying it wasn’t right or wasn’t a good time or that they couldn’t possibly kill someone or “oh my, the truce” blah blah blah. But he had grown up in recent years, and to use a cliché really become his own man at last. She had been able to sense that, which was one reason she had come to him with this. And it was his right, after all, to take out the woman who had dealt him so much damage. This was his kill, but she was sure as hell going to be there to make sure it went down, no mistakes, no second guesses. She would be there watch the realization that she was about to die wash over Diana’s face before that over-botoxed excuse for a smirk was bitch slapped off her face forever.

But then, then Cameron surprised her. The attention to detail he had given to having the ability to hide thoughts from Malice was so great that there was no doubt left in her mind that he was with her. He had thought about this, DREAMED about this, it was clear.

Cameron said:
"The room is clean. But before you leave..I'm going to need to be able to go into your mind. I'll have to reroute your memory of this conversation in an effort to conceal it from Malice."

She nodded.

“Do what you need to do. Nothing is more important right now than taking her down.”

Cameron showed Delilah into his office, and she sat down on the couch while she looked at all the documents he had on Malice.

Cameron said:
"Taking down Diana isn't as simple as just cutting her head off...We've done that before. She needs to be destroyed so utterly that not even her soul has a chance to move on.”

“The only place her soul is going is straight to hell.”

Cameron said:
”We can't afford her moving to another timeline. Malice needs to become extinct...and it's become a pasttime of mine over the years of attempting to figure out ways to do so. This is all the culmination of my efforts..."

Cameron sat down next to her.

Cameron said:
"Before we dig in here..what do you think? What's been your idea?"

There was so much here. So much SHE hadn’t known about Malice’s life. It was amazing, really, that Cameron had been able to find it all. Not because he was incompetent, but because it was so unlike Diana to allow it to happen. He must have put so much time and effort into it. And he had hid it from them all.

She looked up from the open folder in her lap.

“It’s not enough just to kill Malice, she needs to suffer. She needs to feel the pain of every horrible thing that she has done tenfold. And you, my friend, can give that to her.”

Delilah gently tapped Cameron’s temple with her index finger. She glanced back down at the papers in her lap.

“It would have been better if Dominique was still inside the Hellfire Club, but she still has connections. She can help us get to Malice.”

Delilah smiled.

“And then you can blow her mind.”

LOL @ "that over botoxed excuse" LOL!
Clandestine Inc- Hospital Suite
::Sally had been in scarey situations before in her life and she'd faced down enemies in more than one way. She didn't get where she was today be being meek or weak, but the attempt on her life by the Purifiers and their subsequent attack on her after the surgery definitely had been one of the WORST experiences she ever had. Still, her spirit had been strong and she was NOT ready to give up OR let go!::

:: When she finally awakened from Karen's sleeping spell and was told about everything that happened, she didn't resist Michael's idea of installing Andrew as her personal body guard when she traveled. She may have been bold and brash, but she wasn't stupid. Supporting mutants, befriending them...it made her a target. But her feelings about mutants, ESPECIALLY her beloved "SIX" didn't change after all of this. If anything, it reaffirmed how she felt. When she was attacked, they were all there for her. They cared about her. She'd lost her own daughter, Macy, several years ago, to a tragic accident in a nightclub of all places. The mobster responsible for it had his date with VENGEANCE. But it was the Six who helped fell some of the void left by her now being ALONE in this world without her daughter.::

:: Sally believed life was for the LIVING and she prooved that in every way. Her spirit, her strength of will always managed to pull others up even when they were down, and when she needed help, the people she had stood by had rallied around her in all the ways possible. This warmed her heart and she was truly grateful.::

:: But what she wanted now, more than ever, was to GET BACK OUT THERE! She'd taken trips and vacations before, but those were always of her time and choosing and she was always connected to the House of Spectra "just in case" even though most times nothing ever happened. Since her attack, Cameron, Nicolas, Blaze and ANDREW had all stepped up to help keep things OUT of the press, keep things going where needed.::

:: But as Andrew told Delilah, Sally was DEFINITELY anxious to get back, and was ALREADY working the phone big time from her hospital bed! It was amusing and a source of RELIEF to see the fashion firebrand displaying that ENERGY she was known for and her time in recovery after Sawbones' surgery, along with Karen's healing spell had actually made her look a bit YOUNGER before. Not in a science fiction way, but just in subtle manner.::

:: She was pleased that the doctors and Karen all agreed that she could leave the hospital in the next few days to return to her private suite at the Parthenon, but she wasn't waiting to start taking care of business! Andrew visited her EVERY DAY with reports and spreadsheets and Blaze had assured her that Spectra Couture was still going strong.::

:: The moment Vivica, Blaze and Cassandra arrived, the heard her voice just before they entered and saw her on the phone::

Sally: Eric, HO-NEY! You WOUND me with your suspicions! I thought after all these years that you, me and your little wife, Queen Stephanie were PAST all of that! Besides, my days as the "KNOCK OFF QUEEN" are LONG behind me, you know that!

:: she saw the three beautiful young ladies arrive and gestured for "just a moment" as she winked and continued her phone chat. She cut off Eric, whose voice could be faintly heard on the other end::

Sally: Now listen, this idea for spectra and Forrester to work TOGETHER for the fashion charity event is meant to benefit an orphanage and its a great opportunity to help establish a network of "LIKE MINDED" supporters from across the industry, if you know what I mean?
JUST THINK ABOUT IT, DARLING! And tell Stephanie to TAKE A PILL! If I wanted you, I would've HAD you already and WE both know it! Gotta go now, I've got guests! Talk to you soon!

:: Hanging up the phone::

Cassandra said:
Hey, Sally!”
:: She made her way to the other side of Sally’s bed and arranged her flowers on her bedside table. ::
“BOLD and BEAUTIFUL, just like you!”
Blaze said:
Nodding in agreement

"Forever young..."

Setting her arrangement on the opposite bed table

"...And no doubt RESTLESS!!"

She leans in to hug an approving Sally, who squeezes her tightly. Blaze closes her eyes, sighing with relief that her friend was ALIVE and doing so well. she seats herself by Sally's bedside.

"I can't tell you how happy...how RELIEVED I am that you're okay..."

Vivica said:
It was finally Vivica's turn. She walked over to Sally and gave her a warm hug. ::
"Miss Sally! Always good to be in the presence of a DIVA! You look well!"
:: Sally smiled warmly and held her arms out wide to happily hug and squeeze each of her girls as they greeted her::

Awww, my lovelies! You sure know how to make a lady feel SPECIAL!

And I'm GLAD you three are here, because I want to tell you, with all sincerity, THANK YOU for making this moment possible! THe memories surrounding my attack are not very clear, but I'm told I have YOU THREE to thank for saving my life...you in particular, Vivica!

So- no jokes, no witty remarks just...THANK YOU.

:: She said this with all sincerity as she looked among her guests.::

:: At that moment, Andrew Murphy arrives! Always a sight for sore eyes, that one::

Andrew said:
Well good day to you gorgeous, your Prince Charming is here to brighten your day and-“

He burst gregariously into Sally’s room, only to pause momentarily in surprise. She had visitors. Excellent.
Ladies.”

He eyed the three as he continued into the room, past them to Sally’s bedside. He kissed her forehead gently.

Ahh, my precious Andrew.

:: Looking at Vivica, Blaze and Cassandra, the all regarded him in their own way, with Blaze being a bit reserved, which was surprising::

Andrew said:
“Now, Sally, it is me who should be bringing YOU presents, not the other way around.”

Setting the flowers he had brought down at her bedside, he smiled broadly down at Sally.

“So, how are you feeling today, my love?”

Just FANTASTIC, Darling!

::Air kissing him near the cheek as she holds his hand, keeping him near for a moment as she studies his suit. She was known for making her "adjustments" on some of her favorite male associates as she deemed necessary. In today's world, that would be considered "sexual harrassment" by some, but Zach, Nicolas, Michael and even Cameron didn't mind one bit, and now, Andrew got this "PERK" as well! But beyond the naughty fun that was implied, Sally WAS a skilled tailor and could size someone up in their outfit and see if there was indeed a need to fix anything here or there.::
Cassandra said:
:: Cass nodded in acknowledgement and watched as he made his way to Sally and paid his respects. Vivi and Blaze, and even SALLY, would notice a WICKED and MISCHIEVIOUS glint in her eyes. ::

“SALLY!”

:: She made a giggly face at her two friends. ::

“You have been holding out on us! I should’ve known he was your secret man!”

:: Sally reaches up and straightens Andrew's tie just a bit and nods with a approval as she gestures for him to do a little turn so she can see how the suit fits the REST of him::

Hmmm, not bad, my dear boy!

You know, it used to be I never bothered with the skinny boys...I always thought they were a bit too FRAGILE, ya know what I mean?

:: Looking over at Cassandra, Vivica and Blaze::

But they've GROWN on me!

:: She winks at Andrew ::

And THIS one here, he's been an absolute GEM!

Well, MY day is certainly made! I'm feeling refreshed and ready for the world! I'm surrounded by beautiful people and I'm pretty sure that Eric Forrester is once again putty in my hands. Now, all I need are my walking papers to get out of here! I've been away from Spectra for too long!

Rich ate the last couple of cookies as she spoke. The idea of a nutritionist was interesting to him. He had no idea if it would help or not.

I am an Ultramorph with Biokinesis. So far I can be pretty much anything and do whatever it is that thing does. As for a specialist, I'm game. Right now I eat about fifteen to twenty thousand calories per day if I can. Recently I have been eating less than half that, so Imma need to find a solution if I can.

As he said that, he noticed there were no more cookies. Never had Zizi seen the stoic Black Knight's face so forlorn. This kid was STARVING.

I am making it OK, just hoping to get out at some point. Miss D is worried that it will be too dangerous. Or that someone will try me and I will do what I do.

His tone and the serious look returned. They both knew what his phrasing meant. After a moment, the look was gone and he smiled again.

Thanks for looking out for Miss D. I wanted her to be safe after this move and so far so good.

He began to absentmindedly pick the crumbs off his plate...

Museum of modern art

:: Dominique smiled a bit and thanked Haleigh for her compliment on her appearance. :

:: It was interesting how Dominique found the idea of being among the Six as a GROUP to be a turn off, but individually, there more than a few of them that she had quite easy interactions with and Haleigh was among them. Then Haleigh summed it up quite nicely::

Haleigh said:
Enemies become friends, friends become enemies. Everything changes. We must learn to change and adapt as well. I'm glad you aren't one of those people who cling to foolish notions and false beliefs. You've proven to be quite open minded about ALL aspects of the Six, Nicolas included. If I never expressed my gratitude for that before, I'd like to now.

:: Dominique nodded in agreement::

My own experiences before joining the Hellfire Club tought me the necessity and value of change and adapting, even if it isn't a pleasant thing. And again, I thank you for your compliment. It has been easier to maintain an open mind thanks to the actions and behavior of many among your group, yourself included.

We :: gesturing between herself and Haleigh:: understand the nuances of people...and circumstances. Not everything is "black and white" and not everyone is what they seem.

I was further reminded of that when I worked closely with Delilah during the confrontation with the Purifiers and ALSO my encoutner with Detective Steel...

:: the appetizers arrived and Dominique lightly sampled her's as they continued. Haleigh took her comment about being a "six reservist" in stride and responded regarding Oracle's emerging team. It reminded Dominique of Nicolas' assessment of the group a week ago.::

:: Dominique chuckled softly herself as Haleigh acknowledge her passive-agressive response::

Nicolas had a similar reaction when I told him.

But Oracle and her colleagues are not novices OR green to the world around us. If they WERE, I wouldn't have even considered it.

:: Haleigh spoke of her own view of Shadow Weaver and Dominique found this to be interesting. There were many PERSONAL dynamics in the Six she didn't know about and with the shifting dynamics between herself and various members of the team, she was learning more and more about them ALL::

I didn't mean to make it sound as though I thought poorly of Shadow Weaver...I have respect for her as a woman, a doctor AND a fellow sorceress and I know how beloved and valued she is to your team. but as I told Nicolas , I am not some old woman who has suddenly lost her way post-hellfire. This is a new chapter in my life's book, one that I intend to write with clarity and control as I have all the previous chapters. I'm sure that Karen herself has similar feelings when it comes to how she lives her life and while its a comfortable fit for her to play a supporting role to the Six, it isn't for me, Not even with Nicolas being apart of your group.

:: Taking a sip of her tea, Dominique looks at Haleigh::

But regardless of what group I'm affiliated with, if Nicolas or you have need of me, just reach out to me the way he did during the Blue Moon crisis, and I'll be there.

:: They continued on::

Haleigh said:
"If you don't mind, Dominque, there's something I'd like to discuss with you, while it's still fresh in your memory. I'm concerned about Malice. I was hoping you could provide some intel on her recent activities."
Hmm...I was wondering when we might get to that.

:: Smiling with a knowing glint in her eye::

NOT that I haven't enjoyed the new level of ease and friendliness we have in our interactions now, because I have. But after that night when Richard and I finally left the mansion, I SAW the intensity between you and Diana. I thought back to our PREVIOUS discussion about her when we encountered each other in the Parthenon during Blaze's..."debutante weekend".

::They both paused their conversation for a moment as the server brought their main courses and they each took a moment to get started::

Last week...Was that the first time you and she encountered each other SINCE the Viper caper??

Minerva's Mansion

:: Alison exhaled with astonishment and a bit of emotion as she hugged Hazel tightly. She shut her eyes and a few TEARS fell::

You're really here!

:: Alison said softly as they continued to hug each other. Still Alison felt a bit WINDED. There were somethings, some moments and emotions even being a precog couldn't compensate for and being REUNITED with the woman who saved her life and helped her when she needed it most, after all this time?? that certainly qualified as one of them.::

:: Hazel was everything Kelly had NEVER BEEN. Everything Alison NEEDED at the time Hazel found her, which was a long time before Alison had met Karen. But even then, as it turned out, Hazel had a strong connection to the Victoria family! She was one of the first true signs of Alison's path and destiny after Alison left home at an age no child should feel the need to do that. Hazel not only saved Alison's life, she changed it for the better::

:: As the two women let go of each other and Hazel talked, Alison took a hankerchief and dabbed at her eyes, wiping away the black tears that had fallen.::

I...can't BELIEVE you're HERE! With everything that's happened...and still you found your way safely to Minerva's Aerie on your own!

:: She looked at Xavier, then back to Hazel. After everything that had happened, ESPECIALLY the aftermath of the Blue Moon, that THIS woman of all people should show up!? ::

Hazel, I'm not...I could NEVER reach a point where I'd be able to look at you and say I don't need you.

And you're right...from Barbas, to the Blue moon...to right now...I DO.

:: She bowed her head and placed her hand that was holding the hankerchief on her forehead. She was feeling very overcome right now. There was DEFINITELY a story here, and even as Xavier witnessed Alison looking and feeling a bit unsteady at the moment, Hazel made her way FURTHER into the foyer of the mansion. The guards tensed up a bit, ready to move to stop her but Alison quickly raised her hand, calling for them to stand down and return to their posts and to cancel the yellow alert.::

....OF COURSE you're welcomed here! You're FAMILY, you and your beautiful companion.

:: She said as she looked down at Apollo, wondering how TINKERBELL would react to him and smirking at the thought::

:: Alison looked up and seemed a bit more settled as she motioned for Xavier to follow her and they quickly caught up with Hazel and her mysterious familiar, Apollo the fox. Alison stood in front of Hazel All three of them heard the large double doors of the mansion's main entrance CLOSE and it seemed to indicate that Alison now had a new house guest!::

I have more room than I'll ever know what to do with, and if you need...want to stay here, you're welcomed to do so.

:: Gesturing to Xavier::

THIS is Xavier Winston, a.k.a. Tachyon. He's a mutant, a speedster with impressive knowledge of the occult and the history of it. I met him state side in New York City. He...helped me and the Six to stop an anti-mutant terrorist group called the Purifiers. He also helped me to evacuate a super-hunter sentinel, a NIMROD out of this dimension.

:: She looked into Hazel's unique eyes::

He helped me to save my baby brother from death.

He's been ....

:: She didn't want to say what she was THINKING just now::

He's unusual to say the least, but he's definitely a breath of fresh air for me and we're becoming better acquainted in this down time, now that my brother and the Six are safe. He's a guest of mine here as well.

:: Alison smiled a bit::

Let's go to the Great Room and sit down to talk. Would you like something to eat?? I can call Karen and tell her you're here!

The Island of Aerie

<< She listened as Alison spoke and her heart was warmed when she heard about Xavier helping to save Alison's brother from death. Hazel nodded in approval as she looked upon the man. Her eyes transfixed on him for a second as Xavier found his gaze locked within her. Her unusual eyes were not an accident..in fact it was part of a natural born gift. Hazel was able to detect the nature of all creatures by looking at them. Depending on how strong they were, she could sense their aura, the nature of their abilities and their place of origin, it depended on the person. She called it her "soul sight" and many over the years had commented as to how deep and piercing a gaze from Hazel Hawthorne could be. Satisfied with what she had seen, she walked over to the man and placed her hand on his shoulder. >>

"Well then..it appears I need to thank you for your efforts..but it seems that Alison has thanked you quite enough already."

[she laughed warmly and deeply]

"If those rose bushes could talk..oh wait! They CAN! To ME!"

<< She nodded as Alison invited her to sit in The Great Room to talk. There was so much to catch up on. >>

"Yes Alison..let's sit and talk. I could whip up some delicious herbal infusions to lighten the mood...PLEASE tell me you've kept a sufficient herb garden since our time together.."

<< Hazel paused for a moment and her eyes widened upon hearing Karen's name. >>

"Bright Lady! Little Karen Victoria. Why I haven't seen her since Morgan was a little girl. I was there for herher "Wiccaning". It was a beautiful occassion. If she's not too busy, then yes..I would LOVE to see Karen."

<< She turned to Xavier once again. >>

"Well, aren't YOU going to be in for a treat? Three of the world's most powerful women in the same room at the same time. I hope all of your travels have prepared you for such an occassion!"

<< Though the mood was happy and bright and one of great emotion, Hazel had come to Alison for a purpose. She had come into the world of The Six for a purpose, and while she could sit and talk for days on end seeing what Alison had been up to and checking in on Karen..there was something wrong with Alison that needed attention..things she needed to deal with. It was beaming off of her like a beacon..for now Hazel would wait for the right moment. She knew she needed to recconnect with The Seer...but she didn't realize just how serious the feelings Alison was going through were until she was face to face with her. One thing was certain..her stay with Alison would be an indefinite one until things progressed in such a way that Hazel could feel good about leaving. >>

"Now..where is The Great Room in this Labrynth? I'm picturing David Bowie popping out at any second..not that I would object..he's quite a good kisser..."

<< Looks at Alison who seems surprised. >>

"Oh don't give me those eyes, Alison.I may not require the pleasures of a man now..but back in my heyday..I was a legend."

The Parthenon Hotel

Delilah said:
“It’s not enough just to kill Malice, she needs to suffer. She needs to feel the pain of every horrible thing that she has done tenfold. And you, my friend, can give that to her.”

Delilah gently tapped Cameron’s temple with her index finger. She glanced back down at the papers in her lap.

“It would have been better if Dominique was still inside the Hellfire Club, but she still has connections. She can help us get to Malice.”

Delilah smiled.

“And then you can blow her mind.”

:: Cameron eyed Delilah up and down for a moment. ::

"Delilah, it's not going to be as easy as finding the right moment to attack. This is a slow burn mission. Diana doesn't suffer from the coil of mortality. She doesn't allow it. The way to make her suffer is to separate her from her power. It's what she has built her life on. She's smart and cunning and she stays one step ahead. She's good at getting into people's heads and staying there..it's what I think she is doing to Haleigh right now and it means that she is up to something.."

:: Prophet laid the stack of papers on the coffee table in front of them and leaned back, talking with his hands. ::

"Think about it..if we look at the last few months..especially since the Viper caper, she's been decidedly different. Sure, she's been bitchy but she was careful about it. She knew which buttons to push..her showing up at lunch was a very brazen move which means she already has the pieces she needs for something. She already has something set up for us..and I think she's trying to revive MysTech..maybe not that exactly, but something damn close to it..."

:: Rifling through some papers, Cameron grabbed a document that showed a satellite image of Sheena Island. ::

"She didn't destroy the island like we thought..The Arklay replica is still there and in tact. I was able to use my psychokinesis on the telescope I helped dismantled during the caper in order to take the photo. Why keep it up and running if you've moved on and are happy with The Sisterhood?"

:: He rose to his feet, pacing back and forth. ::

"Furthermore..The whole thing with WilPharma feels fishy to me. I keep getting the psychic sense that it's not what it seems, and the timing DOES seem kind of convenient. With all the press looking right at WilPharma, they won't see it coming should she try and revive the "family" business. I'm telling you, whatever she's up to..she's BEEN up to it for a long time..."

:: Sitting once more. ::

"On top of that..while it seemed like the encounter with Dominique was over the top..I don't see it that way. Why would Malice of ALL people let Dominique just willingly leave like that. Beyond the threat of Set..it's just not in her character..which makes me think that she has already found a replacement..she's been moving pieces across the board this whole time and keeping us blithely unaware because of the truth..but her reappearance at that damn lunch has alerted me of one thing..She's planning a comeback of biblical porportions.."

[cocking his head to the side]

"Which makes this messy. Because the only way to make Diana feel ANY bit of suffering would be to utterly dismantle her entire operation, stop her before she can start up again. Then we need to consider the fact that Diana has access to incredible technology, and it's no doubt that she hasn't continued that passion. For all we know she could have several samples of her DNA and her genetics and whatever, and the second she's gone...BAM. We could be dealing with a clone."

"There's just not a fast and simple way to get this done..but if you are willing, for the time being I think our best course of action is to focus on bringing down her house of cards and THEN bringing her down. The only way she is going to feel any kind of pain or suffering is if she is FINALLY...outsmarted...we need to work on finding contacts within The Hellfire Club, which with my business connections shouldn't be hard. You still have big connections on the force..see what you can find out about WilPharma..who was running it, how they were able to get the technology they did in order to give them to the Purifiers, also check out these aliases, the lists of address, see if she is storing anything..."

:: Fanning out the papers once more. ::

"We can meet every few days or so..I can ensure that our minds will be protected. She's been in my head intimately, and I know the routes she takes mentally to get what she wants, I can ensure that we are able to bypass those to keep our intentions hidden..from HER and the others..BUT.."

:: sighing ::

"We need to keep it a secret for now. I need as much information as possible because WHEN we kill her, I want to be able to look at the others and say "Here's Why" and I don't want anybody to stop me from what i've been planning for QUITE some time...understood?"

Sally's hospital suite

And I'm GLAD you three are here, because I want to tell you, with all sincerity, THANK YOU for making this moment possible! THe memories surrounding my attack are not very clear, but I'm told I have YOU THREE to thank for saving my life...you in particular, Vivica!

So- no jokes, no witty remarks just...THANK YOU.

:: She said this with all sincerity as she looked among her guests.::

Blaze scooted forward in her seat, closer to Sally's bed

"Most of that credit belongs to Vivica. She took the steps necessary to give you a chance to survive, while Cass and I went after those Purifier goons.

I'm so sorry for what happened to you, but if you didn't know before, know now that we'll NEVER leave you to the wolves out there. You've stood by us...supported mutants in general and I know that the others in the Six would agree with me when I say that anybody who tries to harm you will DIE regretting it."

"The purifiers tried to steam roll over us, and they hurt people we cared about. I don't regret anything that we did to stop them."

Andrew arrived just as Blaze looked a bit more serious, and she stared at him. He greeted them and she greeted him back with a calm, even tone, but her apple green eyes followed his every move. Vivica caught on to this. She knew how suspicious Blaze had been of the "new comers" that emerged during the Purifiers caper.

:: Vivica smiled softly and nudged Blaze's shoulder with her own, wispering to her for a moment. ::

"See?! He's sweet..."

"Sometimes sweet can be BAD for you though..."

Blaze stared at him as he went over to Sally. SALLY seemed plenty pleased with him. Shouldn't that be enough? He had risked his life to help in the battle against the Purifiers. Shouldn't THAT have been enough? Perhaps this was a sign of the overall toll that situation had taken- Blaze was not as trusting OR welcoming as she once was, and really, who could blame her? Still, Andrew cared about Sally. That much was clear and genuine and when Michael of all people suggested he be installed as her body guard, that was something Blaze didn't challenge.

Vivica said:
turning her attention back to the conversation]

"Well from the looks of all those nervous male nurses out there..I think she's doing just fine."

Blaze laughed as she leaned over on Vivica a bit.

"Clandestine Inc medical staff, trained to handle everything...EXCEPT Sally Spectra!"

You know, it used to be I never bothered with the skinny boys...I always thought they were a bit too FRAGILE, ya know what I mean?

:: Looking over at Cassandra, Vivica and Blaze::

But they've GROWN on me!

:: She winks at Andrew ::

And THIS one here, he's been an absolute GEM![

"I think Nicolas and Mike might get a bit JEALOUS if they heard you say that, Sally!"

Blaze laughed a bit more.

Sally said:
Well, MY day is certainly made! I'm feeling refreshed and ready for the world! I'm surrounded by beautiful people and I'm pretty sure that Eric Forrester is once again putty in my hands. Now, all I need are my walking papers to get out of here! I've been away from Spectra for too long!

"We can't wait for you to come back, and we're gonna bring the house down with a celebration! I'll handle all the planning!"

Simon: You're right..I mean I will be fine with it. I'm used to people trying to take me down in one way or another..I just thought I would need to let The Six know what I was planning.

Ava nodded as she took a sip of her wine.

Simon: You all have remained hidden in plain sight for a long time..and that's understandable..however, now that we are associating together..it's only going to bring the spotlight CLOSER..and I could understand how some of you might not like or agree with that..

The waiter showed up, taking Simon's order first before looking at Ava.

"I'll have the seared Ahi and roasted vegetables."

Turning her attention back to Simon.

"I agree that you should inform them of your plans, however this group isn't gun shy. I'm sure you're aware of both Sharon and Alycia's involvement with mutant rights many years ago. They were allies of the six then as well."

Simon: I've sent the legal documents over to Alycia Barnett at Charope who is looking them over, knowing she has all of your privacy and safety in mind, and I believe I have crossed every T and dotted all my I's but i'm wondering if it's something I need to talk to the rest of them about before I go on National Television...

"National television?....You certainly are jumping from the frying pan into the fire. [letting out a small laugh] I would definitely mention something so they're not blind sided. If it's one thing the six hates, it's being kept in the dark."

Rich said:
As for a specialist, I'm game. Right now I eat about fifteen to twenty thousand calories per day if I can. Recently I have been eating less than half that, so Imma need to find a solution if I can.

Zizi pursed her lips.

“Well, I’m thinking a high-calorie but more nutrient-rich – Ha! ‘Rich’! – diet might give you a slower burn on your energy. Slower than living on cookies, anyway, even if it is a dessert-lovers’ dream.”

She winked.

“I’ll get you the name.“

Rich said:
I am making it OK, just hoping to get out at some point. Miss D is worried that it will be too dangerous. Or that someone will try me and I will do what I do.

Zizi nodded. The weight this young man carried on his shoulders was so great, she was surprised he could stay standing.

“Dominique told me you might be interested in training with our team. Whenever you are ready, we’d love to have you.”

She left out that Dominique had insisted as a condition of her joining the team. He didn’t need to feel obligated, or a third wheel. And Zizi’s words were true – they were happy to have Rich join them. And though Dominique clearly cared greatly for him, and took good care of him, Zizi thought he needed more people in his life. His story had been such a sad one so far, that she was determined to make it happier from now on.

Rich said:
Thanks for looking out for Miss D. I wanted her to be safe after this move and so far so good.

“Just make sure you look after your own safety as well as her’s, okay?”

She patted his arm.

“Well I won’t intrude on your privacy any longer. But if you need anything, I’m only one floor up. Even if you just want to drop by and talk, or watch tv. I’ve also made some pretty kick ass if I do say so myself modifications to my PS4.”

She gave him one last warm smile before leaving the suite. As she got into the elevator, she pressed a button on the strap around her wrist, bringing up a holographic screen – just one of the improvements she had made since her encounter with the Purifiers. Smiling, she entered a healthy but large order from her usual online grocery, to be delivered asap to Dominique’s suite.

Cameron said:
"Delilah, it's not going to be as easy as finding the right moment to attack. This is a slow burn mission. … The way to make her suffer is to separate her from her power. “

Delilah clenched one hand into a fist.

“Slow burn is notwhat I had in mind. Slow torture I could get behind.”

At the look on Cameron’s face, she made a gesture of relenting.

“So how do we separate her from her power? White noise? Feedback? There’s got to be something that affects telepaths the same way the black lotus affects magick users…?”

Delilah poured herself a drink from a decanter, listening to Cam.

Cameron said:
"She's good at getting into people's heads and staying there...it's what I think she is doing to Haleigh right now and it means that she is up to something.."

She turned and gestured with the hand holding the rocks glass.

“If she hurts Haleigh in any way…I won’t wait for the slow burn, you can make book on that.”

Cameron said:
"She already has something set up for us…and I think she's trying to revive MysTech…maybe not that exactly, but something damn close to it...She didn't destroy the island like we thought…The Arklay replica is still there and intact…Why keep it up and running if you've moved on and are happy with The Sisterhood?"

“Because you still want to keep your day job of playing Dr. Frankenstein?”

Cameron said:
"With all the press looking right at WilPharma, they won't see it coming should she try and revive the "family" business. I'm telling you, whatever she's up to…she's BEEN up to it for a long time..."

“If we can find out what it is, we can stay one step ahead of her, use her own plans against her, set a trap.”

Cameron said:
"Why would Malice of ALL people let Dominique just willingly leave like that...which makes me think that she has already found a replacement...she's been moving pieces across the board this whole time and keeping us blithely unaware because of the truth…but her reappearance at that damn lunch has alerted me of one thing...She's planning a comeback of biblical proportions.."

“She hasn’t caught you and me unawares, Cam. And I’ve gotten to know Dominique a lot better recently and I can promise you – she isn’t fooled either.”

Cameron said:
"Because the only way to make Diana feel ANY bit of suffering would be to utterly dismantle her entire operation, stop her before she can start up again…For all we know she could have several samples of her DNA and her genetics and whatever, and the second she's gone...BAM. We could be dealing with a clone."

“You know…” [swirling the liquid around in her glass] “…there’s an interesting theory about how to deal with terrorists. You make it so costly, financially or otherwise, that there is no incentive for them to do it anymore. This needs to be strategic. We buy up her suppliers. The ones we can’t buy, we’ll blow up. We retrace her steps as far back as we can – any place she could have stored DNA, anyone who could have helped her, we destroy. We have the resources: you’re certainly not strapped for cash and for my part? Bishop has the wealth of the freaking Russian czars in his new face’s bank account now, and he owes me.”

Cameron said:
"There's just not a fast and simple way to get this done...but if you are willing, for the time being I think our best course of action is to focus on bringing down her house of cards and THEN bringing her down."

“I am more than willing. Whatever it takes to achieve the end game, you have my support. And my full attention.”

She paused, before continuing.

“I want to humiliate her, Cam. I want Malice and all those little Hellfire underling bitches to know that you don’t mess with us and just walk away. I want them to be afraid of us. And they should be.“

Cameron said:
"We need to keep it a secret for now. I need as much information as possible because WHEN we kill her, I want to be able to look at the others and say "Here's Why" and I don't want anybody to stop me from what I’ve been planning for QUITE some time...understood?"

“Understood…but if they don’t like it, fcuk em. You don’t owe them any damn reason.”

Nicolas listened as Sharon explained her identity crisis, the remorse she felt when dealing with a loose end from her origin as the Silver Swan in the Purifiers.

Nicolas gave a nervous laugh as she said this.

Well, I am glad for at least THAT.

He chuckled a second again before continuing. His voice was more somber as he spoke.

I have no issue with the new team, or anyone's decision to be on it. My primary concern is that at least when you fought alongside US, I could protect you. And Aunt D. And Alycia. Now...I have to trust that your new teammates will be up to the task. That might take me some time but I know I have to do it. In the meantime, please....look out for each other. You and Dominique are not so different. And your motivations are very similar. I will be watching, but I want you to be careful, VERY careful. I will not be constantly by your side, and that is a difficult circumstance for me.

Nicolas turned away for a second, shaking his head, then continued. They both knew who he was referring to next...

I lost someone important to this....BUSINESS...already. I am not prepared to bury more loved ones.

Alison was actually going to take him to her Vault. Damn...he had no idea he was THAT good in bed! Oh well, no need to look a gift horse in the mouth, and so he walked with her to the cave holding the storage. He knew she had...SOMETHING up her sleeve in case he tried anything. A huge part of him wanted to know what it was, the inquisitive side of him starting to win when an alarm sounded.

The quickly whisked themselves to the entrance, where a pretty slender lady stood like she owned the place. OBVIOUSLY she was a witch, and either a powerful one or a foolish one. He went with powerful as the pair embraced like old times and she spoke of Alison needing her. He could not imagine what was so bad that this woman moved nary a finger for a NIMROD but now had to take over the day because of something she saw in her cauldron! But that was none of his business.

She was staring at him and smiling and Xavier imagined for a second what a witch threesome might be like as she began to walk past, looking as good from the back as she did from the front.

"...and BEFORE you attempt to disarm me with that tight little bum and quicksilver charm I will have you know it will take far MORE than a pretty face and a paid for education to impress me. Though...that shouldn't discourage you from trying."

Xavier laughed as she addressed him and replied in kind.

Well it is a good thing that I posses far more than either of those things, though I appreciate you noticing.

The walked toward the Great Room as she began to stare at him again, though this time he could sense her looking...more deeply. She seemed to be pleased with what she saw and Alison gave him a STERLING recommendation before offering to invite a Karen Victoria to hang out with them. He never met her though she was mentioned later as being at a secondary battle during the last caper, and so he was excited to meet that much magic power and knowledge in one room. Hazel must have picked up on that when she commented about his good fortune.

<< She turned to Xavier once again. >>

"Well, aren't YOU going to be in for a treat? Three of the world's most powerful women in the same room at the same time. I hope all of your travels have prepared you for such an occassion!"

NOTHING prepares you for...some things. You just hold on and ride the experience right out.

Next she made a comment about kissing David Bowie which nearly scandalized Alison.

"Oh don't give me those eyes, Alison.I may not require the pleasures of a man now..but back in my heyday..I was a legend."

Ha ha!

This woman was amazing. He would not leave her with the last word here though...

Men are rarely necessary, dear Hazel. But we can enrich one's experience, provided you have selected the right man that is.

Xavier walked cooly to the bar, then turned back quickly.

Care for a drink ladies?

Melrose Place- Apartment 4

[ Inside of apartment 4 at Melrose Place, there was no mistaking this for anyone but Morgan's apartment. While it was a far cry from the sprawling penthouse apartment that sat atop Illustra years ago, it was still a large, spacious dwelling, decorated in a way that spoke to Morgan's tastes. There was even a pleasant scent of rich vanilla in the air, one of Morgan's favorite sents, and also the hint of sound of wind chimes in the air]

[ A few little toys on the floor were a reminder of Morgan's two beloved pets, her enchanted familiar- Tinkerbell, and a small, fluffy white kitten with no apparent name yet and who curiously didn't seem to age. They were not here, neither was their pet parent.]

[ As Nicolas and Sharon talked, they stood in the large living room together.]

Nicolas, I'm not a little girl, nor am I a fawn in the woods. I am The Silver Swan! Before THAT i was the Senator of New York City and I faced down the likes of the Zaccharas!

I can protect myself, do what's necessary to survive AND I could even protect YOU if necessary.

[ She unknowingly echoed some of Dominique's statements to Nicolas from a week earlier]

Alycia and I both...we've come a long way, and the last thing either of us wanted then or NOW is to be seen as damsels in distress.

[ She looks at Nicolas and smiles as she places her hand gently on the side of his face]

....Look at you now...so tall and strong.

There was a time when I'd have to look DOWN at you. Now, even in my current form, I have to look UP! But I still remember you as the young adolescent I first met many years ago.

You've always had a lion heart, Nicolas. Your father, my special friend Gustav, taught you the value and necessity of gentlness, courage, and bravery. I know you care, and that means so much. I know you want to protect me, Alycia, and certainly your aunt. But you cant protect us from destiny. We're all grown women, we MUST make our own way in this world. It is our responsibility and our RIGHT to do so.

And just as you and the rest of the Six have your calling, we each have found ours.

Regardless of team affiliations, we're family, Nicolas. I was practically your step-mother. But beyond that...we're FAMILY in all the ways that matter now and it doesnt matter what team we are apart of, there are connections that transcend everything else. If there's a time where I need your help, You know I'll reach out. Where ever there's a bird, I am not not far away

[Winking at Nicolas]

And I'm sure Dominique has told you something similar.

You'll see Alycia often at her office.

The opportunities to help each other, protect each other aren't going to change. If anything, they'll grow and our two teams will be able to forge bonds of good will and work effectively to protect not only each other, but those around us all.

[ As Nicolas spoke about losing someone else to this "business", they both see a large, framed picture of Spellbinder, Firebird and Shadow Weaver standing together, elegantly dressed and posed, with Shadow Weaver in the center and the daughters on either side of her]

Nicolas, she'll be back. She did the right thing by leaving...she knew her limits. She knew she needed to recover from what happened during the Blue Moon and that in order to be able to face a future where things would never be the same due to choices she made and still be effective, she needed this time.

Let's check everything over in her apartment, make sure everything is in order. We'll do one more search around the perimeter of the building afterward before heading back to New York.
