Distraught Oscar Pistorius could face charge of 'premeditated murder'

this is very sad. that poor girl :( ive seen so many blurbs about this but nothing that really offers any subtantial story(like if there was a history of violence & abuse in their relationship). its hard to say if he's distraught b/c he's being brought to trial or b/c he's truly saddened @ the loss of his girlfriend.

I've been watching the trial on another website and apprently he shot her through the bathroom door as he thought she was an intruder intending to rob his house. Now, I'm not a gun man, I' ve heard a gun been shot and I've seen a fair few (both legit and not so) but he shot four time and hit her three one in the head and one in the chest - which indicates he shot to kill. If it was an intruder in his bathroom, why didn't he just shoot through the door at the legs. It's not like she was coming at him.

He also carried her downstairs, if I shot my other half (though sometimes...) and I didn't know it was her I would be curled up in the corner in a ball distraught...

Speculation is bad, I'm sorry, just making conversation.
 
South Africa has a HUGE gun culture and more deaths than almost anywhere per capita by gun.

Given what I have seen and heard it is hard to know what to believe. It is not impossible to consider that he did shoot her thinking her an intruder but it is amazing that he shot her that many times and so well without knowing his target. If so it is a damned shame.

The alternative is that he was evil as hell for killing her like that.

He has no priors that I have heard of so it is hard to say that his story is implausible.
