Dimensional Warp: A Physical Session

<< Brooke stood and watched as Val appeared in the arena. Narrowing her eyes, she saw Val suddenly jolt forward towards her. Brooke barely had time to react, grabbing Val's foot inches away from her face, the valkyrie's heel perilously close to Brooke's nose. Gripping Val's ankle tightly, she scowled and sneered condescendingly >>

"How original."

<< Brooke threw Val's leg to the side harshly, hopefully throwing off her balance long enough to distract her. To finish off her combo, she threw a quick jab to Val's nose while she was offbalance, enough force to at least cause some bleeding. Brooke stepped backward, and stood in a defensive position, anticipating her retaliation >>

:: Val felt her ankle get gripped by Brooke and she rolled her eyes. Having been in this position many times, Val was pushed side and she stumbled a little. Ragaining, her balance, Val saw Brookes jab in time to block it with her forearms by her face so Brooke would hit bone first. Val winced a little from the pain Brooke caused. Watching Brooke get into a defensive stand, Val knew that this fight was going to be tough. Quickly dropping low, Val aimed to sweep Brooke off her feet. Using her arms as balance, Val then kicked at Brooke with both feet and aimed at her stomach.::

 

[Cole]

:: stumbling a few feet, but quickly recovering, Natasha cracked her jaw and chuckled. Rotating it to make sure there was no damage, she straighted and looked at Kennedy. ::

:: Without warning she advanced on the woman and in a movement so sudden it was untrackable to the human eye she uppercut the woman, slamming her face with her clenched fist, and then following it up with a well-timed sweepkick to knock her off her feet ::

"Natasha. Good to formally be introduced."

-Landing hard on the floor Kennedy felt as though she had broken her back (though she hadnt) this pain was so immense that it gave Kennedy the idea to activate her Psyche amulet, so that Natasha could feel her pain. As soon as she had she got up (still in pain) and quikly went to kick Natasha in the stomach with a force that would be shure to injure some of Natasha's internal organs-

"I hope you can feel it my pain, not just my physical pain but my emotional as well"

-Still recovering from her watchers death Kennedy was in an inormas ammount of emotional pain that sometimes weakend her powers like it was doing to Natasha-

: Kyroe steps through the dimensional rift ans sees eveyone else fighting:

" Man i'm always late. Oh well. A lite stretch never hurt anyone."

: Kyroe quickly strecthes his arms and concentrates more on his legs though. Since he did have a black belt he felt pretty confident but He knew Kevin or Jules could set him straight. After he finished he went into a defensive stance bringing his right arm infront of him and curling his left hand into a fist next to his waist putting his body in a crouch. This was going to be fun:

 

[Jules]

:: Kevin was amazed once again by Jules antics, the sweeping off her feet not throwing her off at all. He still held pressure on her neck, but suddenly felt Jules strong hand wrap around his own, and twist quickly. His mouth opening and uttering another cry of pain, although he bit down his lower lip and glared equally deadly into her own eyes, his bright green eyes filling up with anger. Although keeping that same odd coolness he always had, even in the midst of battle ::

" You may be hard to kill... "

:: He broke off in the middle of his sentence, his fingers aching badly, his skin already turning black and blue. With his good hand he shot it around to the side, slamming his fist into her gut, hoping to wind her or cause other amounts of pain. Wiggiling his crippled fingers from her grasp, struggeling to stand up on his bad knee ::

" But your not invincable "

:: Jules' breath left her lungs in a violent wush of air and her side contracted in pain as Kevin's fist struck its target. Trying to breath deeply, she found that for a few minutes she could only take shallow uneven breaths. From her position on the ground, she kicks up both of her legs, slamming both of her feet into Kevin's face, hopefully breaking his nose::

 

[CharmedSlayer]

:: Kevin looked down at Jules as she gasped for air, trying to brace his fingers under his shoulder. Suddenly he saw a brisk quick movement from below, Jules feet shooting up towards his face, however being in a standing position he had a slightly upper-hand and saw the attack before it hit. Turning his body to the right to try and avoid the kicks, however one foot slammed into his cheek, sending him spinning around in a counter clockwise position. The pain setting in on his damaged knee, however while he was spinning he shot his good leg towards Jules arm, trapping her wrist in the heel of his boot, and while he spun he rotated his heel, hopfully breaking her wrist on her good arm ::

This is harder then I thought

:: After finally stopping he let go of Jules' hand and backed away slightly, being alittle dizzy from his little twirl, his cheekbone bruising and showing through his skin. The whole side of his cheek was black and blue, his hands crippled and most likely out of the game. But he wasn't going to let them keep him down, he would keep going for as long as it took ::

 

[Storm]

:: One of Kurama's rose whips go shooting down at Kennedy and take hold of her Psyche Amulet before she could use it on Natasha. Kurama called back the whip and grabbed the Amulet and held it ::

"Kennedy, this is a phsyical fight remember so no amulets or powers. Now continue!"

:: Kurama kept a close watch on the fights going on ::

"Remeber people, less than 12 hours remain, also, fight hard and you will be rewarded greatly!"

 

[Natasha]

:: wondering what Kennedy had planned, she grabs her stomach and doubles over in pain. Taking a few deep breaths, she looks up to Kennedy and after regaining her composure, smiles to the woman ::

"So - we are playing it that way, huh? Very well."

:: standing tall she backflips, her feet catching Kennedy's jaw as her legs kick out twice, doing more damage. He hands touching the ground as she pushes off to finish the backflip, she tilts her legs in order to catch the side of Kennedy's face, smiling as she hears a nice 'thudding' sound as her foot connects. The backflip completed, she stands in a defensive position a few feet from Kennedy, ready for any eventuality ::

"Battle joined."

:: Valfreyja turned and saw Kyroe enter and start stretching. With a small laugh to herself, she knew that the man was without a partner. Looking at Brooke, Val decided to turn her attention on Kyroe. Flipping to the fellow Crusader, she used the power that she was getting from the flips to land a spiral kick to his chest. Val knew that Kyroe was good at physical fights, so she landed on her feet in a crotching position watching him.::

"Hello Kyroe."

Okay first are general stuff, I was glad to see everyone at least arrive, even someone who was not supposed to be here. Crouching Samurai you were not summoned to this so you will be taking a penalty of 500 gil, please read the summon thread more carefully next time. Next everyone else did good so great job, I am proud of ya'll.


CharmedSlayer- Okay Kevin, very nice work against Jules. I really enjoyed your banter and attacks and defenses. You were one of the best of this session so keep up the good work and you will be going far .

Illuminati- Okay um only got to see one post from you but it was very good and realistic. I would like to see more however so expect to be summoned in the next round.

cecini- Okay nice job cecini, you could do with a little more umph in your posts but all in all great job. Also good with volunteering to going fight someone else as your oppent left.

Jules- Great work Julie I was really thrilled to watch you fight. You are a great fighter and know how to attack really well. You are very good at physical fighting. I think you will be great in the future if you continue at this caliber.

Cole- Okay aside from a late arrival you did well with what I saw. However, please from now on watch out for mistakes. Your use of your amulet in this session will penalize you and it is the type of thing to get the MoE leaders angry. So please be more careful.

Natasha- Very nice job Tash. Good catty banter and such. You did well with your opponent. I want to see more of you so expect to be summoned again soon. Good job otherwise.

Okay time for the goodies hehe, first are the top three of this session

Tash- You will be granted a chakram which will be blessed with one power of your choosing when the weapon store opens free of charge.

Julie- You will get a whip with adamantium spikes on the end which will also get a power of your choosing at the weapons shop free of charge.

Kevin- You will be getting a whip as well, one with split ends tipped with spikes. Also to be blessed with a power of your choosing free of charge.
