Dallas -2012

Anybody here under 25 probably won't appreciate the buzz this upcoming reboot of the classic 80's prime time soap opera is generating.

Interesting I notice that Victoria Principal is not in the trailer or any of the cast photos I've seen thus far. I wonder if she's not returning.

Of course w/ this reboot coming...how long before DYNASTY? & How are they going to handle THAT w/ John Forsythe having passed away several years back?

I'm so excited to see Patrick in this - he is such a nice guy. I just hope they are true to the idea and don't pull a Melrose Place. I like that they brought back so much of the original cast to be the older generation.

yeah i like that they made it a point to bring back as much of the original cast as they could. I'm hesitant but still willing to check it out. My fav is Linda Gray (Sue Ellen) & Patrick Duffy (Bobby) but again im still stuck on Victoria Principal's absence.

Jordanna Brewster is in it too & i can't wait to see what kind of character she plays.

I'm way too young to remember the original Dallas, but I remember hearing about the 'dream season'.

I don't like the English soap operas at all, but I might watch this, if on;y because Brenda Strong and Jesse Metcalfe are in it

I guess it could be confusing though, since its a continuation and not a reboot.

TNT? Seriously? I don't get TNT!!

The dream season near synonymous with Jumping the Shark and now a full on element of pop culture

Does it have an air date yet?
