Costner & Kutcher to Star in The Guardian

Kevin Costner and Ashton Kutcher will star in The Guardian, the Disney drama to be directed by Andrew Davis (Holes).
The project centers on Jake Cummings (Kutcher), a rebellious young man whose life is veering out of control. He enlists in the Coast Guard, where he forms a mentor-type friendship with a legendary rescue swimmer (Costner) who lost his crew in a fatal crash. The older man helps turn around the life of the younger man by teaching him the meaning of sacrifice.
The production is currently scouting locations in Louisiana for an October start.
