Do you go to the club? If no, do you have an alternative?

do you think there's an age limit for clubbing?

for me- i can say that now, i dont club at all like i once did. i feel like, why pay money to go into some poorly venihlated place to look at people who i wouldnt dream of doing anything with, wasting money on drinks that may or may not be made well etc. I also felt that after 25, it just wasnt "cute" anymore.

Plus it seems that these days, people just generally don't know how to act in public now. Men dont even TRY to at least "court" a woman at the club before putting their hands all over them (& they may or may not have even bought them a drink first- which for some men seems to imply that if a woman accepts his drink, she owes him sex  ) I've been hearing about more outbreaks of violence & shootings at clubs too.

Just curious to see what anybody else thinks about this?

I used to club a lot when I was a teenager. I think I clubbed myself out because I haven't been back to one since I was 19 lol. I usually go to bars now.

However, I would hit up some of the more popular clubs in LA or Vegas if given the chance. Otherwise, i'm over them in my area.

i acutally prefer house parties. but sometimes those can get out of hand too especially when ppl start inviting other ppl who invite other ppl & then there's all these random & usually bad characters who ruin things w/ their foolishness.

there is a nice little bar down here called "lipsticks" that i sometimes go to. its small & its owned by a lesbian couple but they make it a point to attract all kinds of people to their place. its cute w/ its kitshcy 70's theme & they've even got a retro arcade on the 2nd floor filled w/ games like ms. pacman, centipede, pinball machines & more. & they have a bar staff that actually makes GOOD mixed drinks. I'll go there sometimes w/ a couple acquaintences i have here but lately even that's rare.

I've never really been into the club scene. I'm old now, so I'm definitely not clubbing these days! I've always prefered small, intimate settings to loud, crowded settings though. I'm an introvert by nature. While I enjoy being with people, it drains me.

I was always a house party guy, complete with large house system and the ability to cook for crowds.

I did the club thing as well, but I hated most of what you said Farrah with the addition of women expecting to be brought drinks but unwilling to even speak to a brotha. Ladies don't owe any ass for a stupid drink but would a short audience KILL them? Which is why I NEVER bought drinks unless I got to know a lady first.

Protip: If you know it is a "hell no" off top then kindly refuse.

I'm happier at a house party too, its you some friends, good food much more chill environment. that's something i can get behind

You would have loved my triple then.

All bedrooms upstairs...living room into dining area/kitchen downstairs. I would put on some music and we would cook some good food and have the game on TV and chill.

All the food you could eat, liquor you cared to drink, even a little weed.

No one allowed to have sex but us and only once you took yo nasty ass upstairs

I don't go clubbing, I probably haven't a clue as to what it is [I'm naive when it comes to this]. No, my friends and I usually go out to a restaurant, sit in their bar area, and drink and play pool.

Although, for my birthday last month, we bar-hopped to several bars. Bar-hopping, yes. Clubbing, no [unless bar-hopping is clubbing].

some ppl would interchange bar hopping & clubbing esp if they are going to several clubs in one evening. either way its the same  The only clubs i've been to in Canada were Joker's & The Happy Tap. Both are in Windsor. The Happy Tap is a gay bar & I went w/ some of my gay friends a few years ago... it was wild LOL! they had dancers/strippers on the basement floor & they took it ALL off! & the bar & dance floor were on the main floor. Joker's was a mixed bar & the drinks were overpriced & badly made so I never went back there again.

Give me a house, some liquor and beer, some tunes and a grill and I can beat any time spent in a bar or club...with the exception of that crazy one I went to in England. 4 dance floors with 4 DJs and a full pub upstairs. Ass everywhere and I was one of the tallest guys in the house.
