the Civil War smacked of the whole "mutant registration act" and the fear that caused among the mutants of marvel in the early to mid 80's. Civil War didnt do anything but reaffirm to me t hat Iron Man and Reed Richards are assholes ...always have been, always will be. I was SORELY disappointed in Ms. Marvel for her stance on the matter but then again, considering her appearence in the Days of Future Past timeline as an officer for the gov't with a psychic hound in tow no less...i guess its not too far fetched to see her alligning with Iron Man.
probably the two greatest moments in Civil War for me were when Invisible Woman left her husband telling him "the children are your sole responsibility now" as she was going underground with Captain America....i REALLY hoped that she would leave Reed for good behind Civil War, but i also loved it when she beat the HELL out of Taskmaster after he assaulted Reed. she left a frickin crater in the ground after she attacked him LOL!
AND (even though this is not what the question of the thread was about)...If i was in the position of a super hero, i would not register. its FOOLISH to trust the government that blindly.
