Charmed Reboot in the Works at CBS!

This smells like it is easier to try to get some free money stringing a fan base along in a reboot of an established franchise rather than the risk of say, being imaginative with something new done well.

It's definitely too soon. But honestly, I really love how witch based shows are starting to become popular again. So i'll wait to see about more information before I put my two cents in about this. ;)

I disagree but mostly because I thought the last three seasons of Charmed were so bad that I kind of don't view them as part of the franchise. I loved the start of Charmed, even thought it survived the loss of a lead actor, but then (IMO) it was suck-ville baby from there and I think that Alyssa Milano and her ego especially should be ashamed of her work towards the end as she was actor and producer when the show turned from the power of three to the "Phoebe show" (or rather the look how hot and awesome Phoebe is show) She was my favorite character at the start and the one I abhorred at the end...

Bring on a new power of three! Hopefully with a less egocentric cast whose hissy fits doesnt change the outlook of the show. Also hopefully they'll downsize the cheese factor

WTF o_O Charmed-Boards reboot anyone? :-D hahahaha

EDT:

that twilight av has to go :s

I dont want this :(

Like the others have said, it's WAY TOO SOON! & keep in mind, the original Charmed was an AARON SPELLING show. Aaron Spelling shows always had a special quality to them. Granted by the end of season 3, Charmed began to go down hill & by season 5-6 it was in the toilet...but in those first 3 seasons? The show was truly magickal.

They're not gonna be able to capture that again & I'm sure they wouldnt do right by the fans & ask ALL of the Halliwell sisters to return to the show. knowing "them"...they'd only ask Alyssa to return & that's another thing that pissed me off about Charmed in the later years...it was always made to look that PHOEBE was the center of everything & she wasnt.

I honestly doubt that they would ask the original cast back, unless it's for a cameo. Holly Marie Combs has a supporting role on Pretty Little Liars, and Alyssa Milano is on that Mistresses show [unless it got cancelled?]. Not sure what Rose McGowen or Shannen Dougherty are doing...but either way I doubt they'd sign up to do a show that they literally just finished a few years ago lol.
