Hellfire Mansion - Kelly's Lab
< It had been a rough twenty four hours. They had been whisked to Ahadi by Diana and Ravena on some kind of vagrant self congratulatory tour. Diana had dangled Ravena and Alice in front of her, yet again testing her as she had done ever since Kelly arrived in the timeline. She had done her best to play by Diana's rules -
all of them, because Kelly wasn't an idiot. Before her own timeline was destroyed by Karen Victoria, Diana had been her closest friend and ally. Both before and after The White Queen had taken a hit out on her life. It was her ability to survive that was most underestimated by the people in this timeline, and Kelly had used it to her advantage, if not begrudgingly. She worried she dazzled people because her mainstream counterpart was a twit. And that was partly true. But ever since arriving here, Kelly had shared somewhat of a bond with her predecessor. Every now and then, she would be sitting in Hellfire and get a glimpse of who Kelly King was, of what she was thinking. Surely she couldn't have been a complete idiot if she managed to finagle her way into The Inner Circle, leading The Axis of Evil on their assault against Valiant. It didn't take long for Kelly to realize that Witchfire had been mindfucked to the highest degree. The only thing Kelly couldn't figure out was why? She was certain it was because Kelly King had stumbled upon something, or had some kind of deep seated dirt on Diana. But she had yet to figure out the answer, and it troubled her - because Kelly Shaw was worried she might possess the same trait or information as Kelly King, and that it would ultimately result in her death. >
< But Ravena proved to be a stepping stone that she hadn't been anticipating. She was mistrustful of him from the second she met him, as she had never been a fan of vampires. They were the bottom feeders of The Underworld. Cursed sicophants who were controlled by their hunger, despite what many of the long lived ones had to say. They impressed mortals with their recycled tales of greatness, while being able to be killed by something as natural as the sun. In short, they were
lame. So to see Diana install one as her White King was troubling. Kelly had taken the mantle of the magick arm of Hellfire seriously. And this was a move that the witching world would never have respected. And she knew that Diana was smart enough to know that. But this was not
her reality. The people looked the same, and for the most part, they acted the same. But Kelly was constantly having to navigate things blindly, and she was tiring of it. >
< So she was doing what relaxed her - working in her lab. She loved a stiff drink and finely tailored tuxedo jacket, but she was nowhere as near as happy in one as she was getting her hands on something and completely transforming it. And since she had just destroyed Ahadi and Alice, she knew she was going to have to start producing. And there was nothing more that she was ready for. Kelly was confident in her ability. Nobody could do what she did. Adam. Christopher. Alice. Ravena. They were narrow minded. They wanted to create WEAPONS. And while weapons made money, The Black Queen wanted to change the entire world. Overthrow the status quo and awaken chaos. She didn't cower to humans, they cowered to her, and sociology should reflect that. >
< As music blared over the speakers of her labroratory, her right eye was transfixed into a microscope, while her free eye guided her hand towards a petri dish in front of her. A flurry of cells and activity can be seen through the lens. The problem with the witches in this timeline is that they were all arrogant bitches. So concerned with title and presentation, that they all but hurled knowledge and reason out of the window. The more you knew as a witch, as a proper
sorceress, the more you could do. Despite the many topless college co-eds chanting around a tree in Oregon, it didn't change the fact that the world was indeed just a clump of cells. And the more you could manipulate and change those cells, the more you could rule the world. She felt above gods and goddesses, which is why Hecate had turned her back on her. The magick that Kelly Shaw weaved was truly her own, and it was won fair and square. Kelly used her scientific mind to work magick that was unheard of. And it was that kind of edge that Kelly intended to use in order to 'shuffle the deck' in her favor. Morgan Victoria was Sorceress Supreme because everybody was scared of her. Because for some reason Morgan seemed to be able to just force people to bow to her, to think her success was their own. Those witches were stupid and would be easily taken care of once Kelly began to her ascencion to the mantle. >
< She grabbed a syringe to her left and moved it towards the petri dish, squinting in concentration for a moment. >
"And........."
She began to count the seconds until the entire scape of the lens in the microscope shifted, swirling in purpled hued sparkling energy. A devious smiled curled up in The Black Queen's lips.
"We have liftoff.."
< These witches didn't know what was coming. Nobody took her name seriously. But they would. Because Kelly understood her place here. She could easily figure out the situations unfolding in front of her, and she was using that to her advantage. She wanted to send a message to Alison, Morgan and Karen that she was here to play, and that they better be ready to face them. And by way of her omni sight, she suddenly realized that today would be the day she would declare war with the witches. Helena and Diana were playing their part, and it was time for her to as well. >
< She pulled back from the microscope and reached for her garter belt, grabbing her
Pistol and placing it on the table. Unloading the chamber she began to pull out the bullet cartridges, all of which were empty. The Six and The Birds of Prey were coming to play and she wanted to make sure she had something for each of them. >
"These bitches have no idea what they're walking into..."
< Kelly laughed as she moved the now glowing petri dish and poured it into the glass chamber of one of her bullets, it now glowing with a humming purple energy. One by one, she loaded each bullet, replacing it in the chamber and slipping the barrel back into the hilt of her garder belt. >
< She would help Helena destroy The Birds of Prey, and she would make sure to make good use of her son while The Six made their futile attempt at rescuing Ava and Haleigh. If they turned their backs on Hellfire, Kelly would kill them both herself. She had a message to send, and that message was that The Black Queen was ready to play. >
"Wait! What is that?!"
< The Black Queen was alerted to a scuffle in Helena's Quarters. Somebody was attacking her with a knife. Somebody with the same exact power set of Mystique but looked starkly different. The Black Queen's cobalt blue eyes squinted, focusing on the girl but not being able to make her out. Either way, Kelly was not about to let whoever this bitch was get the best of Helena. >
"Amanda. To The Red Queen's Bedroom at once. She's being attacked and her Knight is a troglodyte. Now! And make a Black Guard presence in The Red Wing immediately...and hold for my signal on the other matter."
< Her Knight knew what she was talking about and was ready to do what was necessary in order to protect her Queen. Kelly was excited. It had been awhile since she had gotten her own pound of flesh. Asserting dominance was
perfectly healthy. Kelly left her lab, her whereabouts unknown. >
