I am having serious conversations about closing BB down. So I just wanted to put it out there as something to maybe think about in the back of your mind. Rana and I are talking the pros and cons of merging all the users into AD, but if we don't, another option is to merge them into here.

Nothing is set yet, but I did want to give a head's up. You'd be stuck with all the BB asshats though lol, and my sanity might not survive it lol
 
Though it COULD solve our activity issues and bring fresh blood onto the board, there's no guarantee that by merging the members here they would become active here. They might just die out after BB closes.

And i'm not worried about the asshole members. We'll ban them and that would be the end of it.

However it's ultimately up to you and Farrah. :)
 
Well I haven't made any decisions yet. But I just thought it's something we could all think about and discuss so that when the time comes (cause at some point it will come, if not now then down the road) we have an idea of what we might like to do.

well I am DEFINATELY intrigued by the idea of a merger. I'd happily welcome Rana as a member of staff here and she BETTER be active too :p

and i think you know Sam and I aint going for no BS from any asshat members that might come as a result. we'll put their asses in check so quick! LOL

If anything more comes of this, let us know so we can discuss the details.
 
Will do. Rana isn't on staff at BB anymore, she's just recently come back on at AD. But I'll pass that on to her ;) I know she's had a busy offline life, so I think she's trying to keep things small right now.

I'm talking things over with the BB staff right now. We may try shaking things up over there one last time and seeing if it helps. But I have a feeling we wouldn't merge it with AD, cause that's just a different place for specific fans. But BB does have active members that post a whole hell of a lot off topic on a wide variety of subjects, so it could be a good fit.
 
Now if we were to actually do this merger would we keep everything as is on the board until we see if it actually works out? Or would we revamp the look of the board again with additional forums and sub forums?
 
i dont want to change anything. im not opposed to adding something here or there if its necessary. i'd welcome an influx of members who could self sustain and since this is a board for adults as long as they dont abuse anyone then we can keep things as they've been.
 
Just a quick update for you Vil, I haven't forgotten about the banners you asked me to do for AD. But with my office in the midst of a merger it's been very hectic the past month. However tomorrow is my last day so i'll have tons of free time now to get some banners done for AD and hopefully some new ones for here as well. :)
 
No worries - it was just a thought anyway ;) I appreciate anything you do for me, whenever you do it!

I'm in Pittsburgh right now and not heading back to LA until next Wednesday, so I won't have time to do anything until then anyway ;)

Here's a few more banners for AD. The main scheme banner was killing me. I couldn't figure out what to do for it so I threw in Supernatural, there's a very faded X for the X-Files, and a little shadow man from Fringe. If it isn't versitle enough then you could probably just use it for a Supernatural scheme and no one would know the difference. lol. But let me know and I can try and whip another one up if you don't like it.
