Britney's single "leaks", some predict a club hit

The song was written by Ke$ha :tomato:

They compare it to her other recent "hit" hold it against me.

I don't know what the big deal about "hold it against me" was. As far as Britney's dance songs go, this one SUCKED. It sounded like some bland, generic electro shit you'd hear at a Claire's store or some other corny little store in a mall somewhere. It didnt stand out to me. She should work with Nate "Danga" Hills again. He gave her that awesome club bumper "Gimme more"
 
yeah they have to know NOW that the internet and music sharing forever changed the game so nobody should be acting that brand new about "leaks".

i like some of brit's stuff- "hold it against me" is definately NOT among that list. if this next one is as bland as that? i cant imagine who would be dancing to that mess.

ke$ha is one of those easy to point at examples of how the music industry in america is a joke now. i could sing better than that bitch WITHOUT autotune even though I KNOW i'm not a "singer" i can carry a tune. what the fuck does she do?
 
apparently there have been interviews where she shows actual intelligence and musical talent to the point where more then a few people think her career is one massive parody catering to the lowest common denominator of music that also happens to make her metric f***loads of cash. Like the Larry the Cable Guy of pop music.
 
BK- autotone isnt talent. now if she can WRITE that's one thing. But so can [for example] Cathy Dennis, and SHE can sing. She was a sorely underrated dance diva in the 90s and now she primarily writes for other artists. She gave Britney her megasmash hit "Toxic" and did the backup vocals (which i immediately recognized since im a fan of her's)


There's lots of great writers in the music industry who dont get to do what Ke$ha is doing. You'll never see this bitch sing "LIVE" on stage. NEVER. And what really annoys me about her is that she gets songs with some seriously addictive electro-pop/dance flavor and I think damn....britney, christina, madonna ...SO MANY OTHER better individuals could take the tracks and set them on FIRE. and here this bitch is "singing" through a voice box and even then her voice sounds weak LOL.
 
yes she did. i liked the song so much i read the production notes on it in the cd cover and thats when i learned. her backing vocals made britney's lead vocals seem stronger than they really are in that song lol.

meanwhile, i heard the new "leaked" single on the way home from work tonight. that shit is GARBAGE. i cant believe the writer of this article thinks this will be a dance club hit?? its just as bland and boring as that other electro snooze fest "hold it against me".
 
I heard this the other day, and it is so obvious that Kesha wrote it - it's written for someone who CAN'T sing on their own.
 
I guess i'm in the minority because I love Hold It Against Me, and this new songs is actually pretty good in my opinion. Not her best, but not her worst.
