Britney's new single, "Womanizer" jumped to number 1 yesterday. Her new album, "Circus" is highly anticipated and on the way, she's getting ready to start a new tour and she's got a fabulous new body. I'd say she's MORE than on the "comeback" trail.


What do you think of Womanizer? I like the sound of it myself. and the vid is directed by the same director who handled her massive hit, "Toxic".
 
Not bad, and she was NEVER unattractive. But if you look at the clothes in that vid, even the nude pose, it maximizes what she has always had...great legs and ass and a nice rack.

I am happy for her. i a just glad she is not apparently going to waste what talent she has...
 
I think its got a hot beat to it. I'm thinking it'll be turned into a dance hit at the clubs in no time. The video is interesting and I think it caters to a more mature audience than teenagers. I would say she's obviously grown as an artist. I can see a few similar situations from the Toxic video and this video. Having a handsome well-built male lead, showing off the sex appeal, and a catchy beat.

I was never a huge fan of hers but her music couldn't be denied either. Especially as she matured over the years. I think this new album will be hot though.
 
Britney is one of the Queens of a Dance Hit! You can't help but want to dance when you hear her tracks for the past few years... For example:

And this new CD is really good. I am loving it! My favorite track is definitely Circus! I just love the lyrics..

"All eyes on me in the center of the ring just like a circus. When I crack that whip, everybody gonna trip just like a circus!" Sexy haha.

I even really enjoyed her Blackout album alot, you know the one she released when she was super crazy, I think it got WAY overlooked because of what was going on in her life, it's a shame but that album is definitely worth a listen especially "Radar" and "Break the Ice"!

Britney is a FORCE to be reckoned with on the dance floor, but I wouldnt call her a dance queen yet. That (along with "Dance Diva" ) is reserved for Martha Wash, Madonna and Janet (although she's on the wane now), Cher to name a few.
 
yeah...i was trying to be kind, but Janet is kind of irrelevant now. 4 albums of her's have BOMBED in a row...NO ONE ELSE that i listen to has had THAT kind of failure LOL!
 
You would think though that with Jermaine Dupri at her side (who I despise but he still has help make ALOT of hits for other artists) she would be doing alot better. She is a kick ass dancer and seems to have gotten rusty in the recent days and her music just ISN'T relatable dance wise or lyric wise. It's just terrible. Betty White is more relavant than she is these days!
 
I really love Circus! I was never an avid fan of Britney Spears but these two songs have made me consider buying her new album lol. Her songs are fresh and still very much a hit! I kinda had my doubts after all of her personal drama. But just like Mariah and Cher she proved she was capable of a comeback.
