:: Skidding to a hault as the image of the battle appeared infront of them, Alexis' chocolate orbs went wide. Jesus Christ, it was like "Inferno: The Next Chapter". But soon, the battling stopped and Ororo had appeared, easing both woman. And within seconds, the large image dissapeared in thin air, leaving only an Alexis, Delilah, and now Adrian. Turning to the man, she wondered how he got there...but didn't bother to ask. Stepping forward, she took it upon herself to enter the stone passageway. ::

:: Pressing her hand against the stone wall, she managed to slowly push it open, wide enough for her to slip through. Now in a dark narrow corridor, she saw what looked like mystic balls hoovering in the distance...Making her way down the short passageway, she was now inside the large thrown room facing Haleigh, Morgan, and Ororo. ::

"Jesus.."

:: Alexis whispered as she slowly jogged over to the woman, her boots clicking against the stone flooring. They could of killed each other, who knows...they still might. ::

"Are you two okay? I just...I saw everything that happened."

<< taking refuge in Ororo's support, spellbinder allowed herself to work through emotions that she tried so hard to "ice out". but the pain of it all was coming through. it had to. as she and Haleigh reached a most critical point in their stormy interactions>>

<<she heard haleigh's words. unbelievable and surprising as they were. she was really at a loss, as these kinds of moments were rare for her>>

i ..can't believe what i'm hearing.

<< she paused for a moment>>

after all this time.....

<< she looked at Ororo, who nodded for her to go on>>

i lost myself in anger....my desire to destroy you superceeded all restraint.....i ended your life and nearly destroyed the city...the world. i lost myself in the darkness that corrupts my soul.

i......i'm....sorry for hurting you.

<<a few moments passed and soon the other members of the six were now converging on the throne room....arriving just after the breakthrough>>

::Ororo watched silently...allowing things to unfold as they would...a major turning point had come. she urged Spellbinder on as a mother would. it was HARD for the beautiful young sorceress to apologize to anyone...but her natural mother and ororo BOTH had taught her the value of knowing when to do just that...no matter how hard. it was time to lay down bitter grudges...::

::Ororo herself had to go through some b itter hard lessons in her youth. she sympathized with both these young women::

:: as alexis, bane and delilah arrived, Ororo turned back and raised her hand for them to enter quietly . she knew Delilah would have made her way here to be there for Morgan....::

both women are physically unharmed. you've come at just the right time. delilah's unique abilities , along with her close bond with morgan served you all well...

[ Delilah watched the scene between Morgan and Haleigh unfold. She had been right after all. This, to oversimplify, was not good.

She entered the throne room with Alexis. Seeing Morgan, she immediately crossed the room and hugged her friend. ]

"It's going to be okay."

[ She looked back at the others. ]

"Maybe we should postpone this operation - we're not ready."

::Ororo gently let Morgan pass into the arms of her dear friend Delilah::

Now is not the time to waver....time grows short...however, while you are here time is actually on YOUR SIDE.

take this time...to allow yourselves to settle things and to finally prepare as a TEAM for what lies ahead.

Morgan knows that i can always been reached if i am needed...but for now, it is best that i allow you all to deal with this yourselves.

:: she smiled warmly to them all....and waved..as a malestrom of winds and dead leaves swirled around her...she vanished with a low rumble of thunder rolling in the air::

Haleigh nodded to Ororo and turned to Morgan as she began to spoke. And froze. She too was shocked... she KNEW how difficult it was to apologize... and although Haleigh HAD apologized before, she couldnt ever remember MORGAN apologizing.... and here it was... an apology... and to Haleigh, no less. She recovered as quickly as she was able. She nodded solemnly but refrained from moving any closer to Morgan. this was one of those hug moments that Haleigh would put a stop to before it happened. It was bad enough they were sharing their... shudder.... feelings.

"Its okay... Ororo's right... we all make mistakes. We both did our part here... In all my efforts to undermine you, I hurt many people... All I ever wanted was your respect. When I couldnt get that I purposely provoked you. I'm sorry too."

Haleigh turned to see alexis and the rest of the crew walk in... She rubbed her neck, nodding sheepishly to Alexis. "Everything's okay... we just... had a productive interaction. No Need to be alarmed."

<< Morgan hugged Delilah...and exhaled..as tears rolled down her face>>

oh god....what have i done Delilah!?

this place....the magick....the darkness...this is who i really AM....and ....i havent even had TIME to truly mourn my sister.....

<<...shutting her eyes tightly...as she heard Haleigh's words. she knew now...that they had arrived at a new place...still it felt awkward>>

well...i think ....Blaze would be very very happy to see this, right now.

:: As Ororo raised her hand, Alexis stopped suddenly allowing the events to unfold. Morgan appologized, Haleigh appologized back. It was a huge Brady Bunch moment. Finally as Delilah made her way over to Morgan, the visable sorrow in Morgan's violet eyes brought back unwanted memories for Alexis. The meta human didn't move, in fact she slowly began to back track away from the group. Turning, Alexis dissapeared in the small corridor that led Delilah, Bane, and herself into the throne room. Stopping in the darkness, Alexis placed her back against the wall taking in a deep breath and closing her eyes. ::

"Focus.."

:: She softly whispered. Internelizing feelings were Alexis' specialty. But lately, with the death of not only Blaze, but her brother and father, it had been harder. And seeing Morgan cry only reserfaced those feelings. ::

"Morgan...you're human. You have emotions, even if you try to hide them. But you're in control now. You beat it. That's all that matters. Ororo was right, we need to take some time here and come together."

[ Delilah was having serious doubts still about the efficacy of this action. She doubted that their minds were on the task at hand, and rightly so. But that's where their thoughts needed to be if they were going to come out of this ahead...and alive. ]

<< a few moments passed, as Ororo left rather quickly...and left the group to themselves. Morgan was slowly getting ahold of herself....Delilah was right....and she and haleigh both had echoed ororo's sentiments>>

when we finish this.....ALL of this..AIM and Nervous....i HAVE to address matters involving Blaze.....i ...i never got the chance to properly take care of that....

<< finally centering herself as she wiped her eyes of the tears..she looked at Delilah...then over to Bane >>

how did you find us?? and where is Alison?

<< Alison had been gone for a while...and just what she and cameron were doing was anyone's guess. but one thing was for certain....the group HAD to prepare themselves mentally....TOGETHER>>

"I...I heard you. My power over sound seems to be growing. As for Alison...your guess is as good as mine."

Bane followed in last, looking utterly detached from the emotional scene unfolding before him. He had never known Blaze, nor the horror surrounding her death, and though he could feel their sadness, it was merely an echo.

As Morgan looked towards him and Deliah, he smiled slightly, his soulful green gaze moving away from her to Haleigh. It was clear that they had gotten past something, but he wouldn't make the mistake of assuming things were finally alright.

<< holding Delilah's hand, Morgan wiped away a tear with her other hand...and tossed her blonde, double hightlighted hair back...as she seemed to be reasserting herself>>

now that im thinking more clearly....i remember alison telling me that she needed to see her sister. they had to do something about ...Cameron.

we should go back to the library....and prepare for the trip to the arctic circle.

<< with that....Morgan waves her hand...and summons a disc..which whisks everyone BACK to the library>

Alison is familiar with the castle. she can find her way back easily.

is everyone....feeling .....okay? finally?

:: In a blink of an eye, Alexis disappeared from the small corridor leading into the throne room and was now back in the library. Looking around the brunette was slightly startled at the sudden jump from one location to another, but within seconds she got her bearings straight. Stepping toward the wall, she leaned up against it, putting her weight against her shoulder. Allowing her head to rest against the wall also, she watched the others as they prepared for the mission at hand. But as Morgan asked if everyone was alright, Alexis didn't bother to answer, she simply stayed quiet and waited for Alison and Cameron to come back so they could get on with the mission. ::

fast forward

::Guardian blinked into view as soon as everyone else arrived...without Prophet::

it's time for us to go.

:: she seemed not to even acknowledge that Cameron was not with her::

::she stood, with her arms folded::
