upon reading this, I was deeply disturbed. Some of these stuff I'd seen/heard before & it makes sense (as far as identitfying who these people are & what drives them). & yes, Timothy McVeigh is a stark example of an american version of this.

It seems like people here don't think we could have our own "massacare" on the same scale as Oslo, Norway or even the Holocaust. W/ increasingly far right domatic individuals getting power in office & appealing to the fringe of society here...what do you think is going to happen??

I think it's fully possible, hopefully it will not happen again, not here or in any other country. But with the time we are living in and everything that is happening in the world, it might very well be other people with similar ideologies trying to orchestrate something similar.

i think with this & other similar situations it's definitely a person by person basis.

not every blonde/blue eyed person is going to behave the way that monster in Norway did or be a "white supremecist" but the fact is there ARE quite a few & there are a lot of factors that play a role in that. Not every blonde/blue eyed person subscribes to far right ideaology/right wing authoratarianism.

On 29 November 2011, the court-appointed psychiatrists concluded that Breivik is a paranoid schizophrenic and that he was criminally insane when he carried out the attacks. If upheld, the conclusion means that he cannot be sentenced to prison, only to indefinite detainment in a psychiatric hospital.

Im not really sure what to say, on one hand it is said that he feared being labelled as "insane" but i know a lot of people is reacting to this conclusion feeling that it takes away some of the blame, me im not really sure how i feel about it all.

His "truth" was not reality & so isnt that an essential component of insanity in someway?

regardless, [i was pissed off when i first heard about this tragedy, & now w/ this new development, i'm pissed off all over again] he KNEW WHAT THE FUCK HE WAS DOING. He stated his reasons & motivation for it, He PLANNED & TARGETED his victims. I'm no mental health professional but this, to me is a slippery to me. 77 victims & high level of property damage & he possibly gets no prison time? You know there are ppl who are cunning enougn & depraved enough that can ACT the part of "insane"...& as well orchestrated as his plan was...surely he had a contigency like this in mind.

In truth, 'blue-eyed terrorism' has existed for centuries. Colonialism in Africa, slavery, Jim Crow, the KKK, the holocaust, the Inquisition, expulsion of the Moors from France, the Crusades.

And even as we look at this guy in Norway, don't forget Gabby Giffords's shooter and Timothy McVeigh.

In truth, terrorism comes in all colors and ethnicities (DC Sniper anyone? Twin Towers? Khmer Rouge and Year Zero?). I think the title itself implies that those with blue eyes are not terrorists in general and that there is some sort of phenomenon afoot. In truth, humans are cruel and we all do our dirt. I am no fan of the term to be honest. None of them deserves a special distinction.

I referenced Timothy McVeigh earlier too. He's now a modern day & most obvious example of this for anybody who doesnt understand or doubts the possibility.

I have to begrudgingly agree. However, considering the MUCH lower percentage of women leaders you still have a rogues gallery that is incredible.

Queen Elizabeth I is responsible for over 100 million deaths with the slavery trade initiation alone. That would make her deadlier than all her male counterparts alone.

And Elizabeth Bathory? Just ew...

I should also note that a cursory search for female serial killers gave me a site that listed 65. Just saying.
