Anybody reading this?

X-Men: Battle of the Atom | X-Men | Comics | Marvel.com

Bendis firmly has his inept hooks in the X-books now & (imo) it shows.

If you can get past the fact that the "Silver Age X-men" now exist in mainstream time along side the x-men & allies, & ANOTHER set of "x-men" from the future have arrived...perhaps you might like it :p

Of courrse, as is the standard practice now, you have to buy 5 different titles/ issues per week/month to keep up w/ one story. The last issue i read was All New X-men # 16 & i must say that i was @ a loss for words w/ the ending....

The woman from the future group of X-men, who is dressed like XORN, is confronted by Rachel Grey for her choice of costume considering what the original Xorn did to Jean Grey (Phoenix IV). This female "Xorn" apologizes & states that she's NOT him & doesnt conduct herself in anyway like him & that she has to wear that helmet to help contain her psi powers. She then goes on to tell Rachel how proud of her she is & @ the end of her response, she REMOVES her helmet & reveals herself to be (by her own declaration) JEAN GREY?! [ although IMO, she looks more like Madelynne Pryor during the period she starred in the X-MAN comic in the mid to late 90s]

This is on TOP of the silver age x-men (jean included) that are present in mainstream time & running around.

I dont know what to say @ this point. I feel like once again, its gonna be something that falls flat from Bendis & according to the story so far, if the Silver Age X-men remain in mainstream time...then EVERYTHING that has occurred in X-men's continuity for the last 50 yrs will be erased! :sure: Bendis is KNOWN for ignoring canon & smashing continuity. Look what he did in Avengers Disassembled & most recently A vs X!

Any other thoughts, comments, opinions?
