Another World

Did anyone here ever watch Another World, either when it originally aired back in the '90s, or when they were playing it on Soapnet a little while ago? (Stupid Soapnet took it off their schedule back in March-ish so they could introduce One Tree Hill and the OC)
Anyway, did anyone watch it? Favorite characters/couples?
Mine were Cass and Frankie, Sharlene, Felicia and Dean!

I watched it a loooooong time ago. I remember liking Alycia Coppola's character. I loved Jake.

I watched a few episodes because Robin Christopher played Lorna back in the day, and i'm a huge fan of hers. But I never really got into that soap. I do know there are a couple episodes online somewhere...if I find them, i'll post them here for you.

i remember the classic opening theme song to another world but not since the '80s had i watched an episode. and SPEAKING of soapnet...i cant STAND how they bring stupid shows like One Tree Hill and The O.C. to that channel to bump classic soaps (day or night time) some of us have waited YEARS to see the soaps they show on soap net again ..and do we really need to see shows like The OC and One Tree Hill which is more teeny bopper fare anyway?

Speaking of Another World, Rue Maclanahan aka "Blanche Deveraux" from the hit show Golden Girls also starred on Another World many years ago. She always gives credit to that show for helping her to get started in her career and says she has a great respect for soap actors/actresses.

in one episode of the Golden Girls, "Blanche" tells "Dorothy" and "Rose" to stop arguing and to be quiet because "its time for Another World" and she turns on the TV and the them song to Another World plays. she later revealed that was her idea to put that into GG as a nod to AW.
