For those of us who work in office settings...there's always certain "types" of co workers to be found.
The ass kisser
The snitch
The lazy
The gossiper
Personally, i find these people annoying. I have not really been one to "make friends" at work. I dont even do office party functions. I dont feel like breaking bread with fake ass people and these arent my friends, they're just CO WORKERS.
The one type of co-worker that annoys and PISSES ME OFF to no end is the snitch.
who knew that ADULTS would make a side career out of TELLING on people for any and everything at work? You don't get paid extra for doing that, and unless its truly unethical or some kind of security risk WHY are you worried about it?
And the supervisors/mgm't who tolerate that and even exploit it...they dont seem to realize that snitches will eventually turn on THEM too. it always happens that way.
So today I confronted this bitch who isnt even IN my dept. but had apparently taken it upon herself to try "telling on me" to my director for my being late one day last week, even though i'd already called in to inform my supervisor i would be late.
When I heard about this I knew exactly who did it. My director was upset. Not at me but at the fact that an outsider felt like she needed to bring that to her attention. My director had told her she was aware of the situation and just basically brushed her off but i understand why my director was unhappy with the situation because it could be seen that she didnt know what her employees were doing. THAT pissed me off even more because I had followed proper procedure but here this petty bitch was trying to sabotage me.
So today, I caught up with her in the hallway with the elevators and she tried engaging in idle babble w/ me and i just called her out with "why did you feel the need to tell on me about being late last week? you're not even in my dept."
She stammered a bit because she couldnt believe i had just said that.
I then said "did it ever occurr to you that i had called my supervisor with the reason I as being late and that it was already on record?"
She started to respond but i was too angry to listen and i just cut her off with "how about this. worry about your own damn self and your dept. you dont get paid extra for being a petty tattletelling bitch and I dont appreciate what you tried to do to me. now tell on THAT."
and i left her standing there. if she tries to "tell" ill deny everything. there was no one around to see/hear the conversation so she has no proof
I hate people like her. co workers like that make the office environment the dreadful experience that it is.
