I was able to get my hands on the first issue of the new cosmic team on the block so lets start this up. Apparently what i thought would be a new series is a four issue mini-series Bah. This is my first time doing this but here we go
nice opening issue, and i do think that the team has way way too much firepower for their own good i mean damn. The weakest 2 are a one man army and a Space Knight. Great series anyone else going to try to follow this one?
The issue begins directly where the Thanos Imperative - Devastation left off with the first meeting of the Annihilators being interrupted by their new leader the Space Knight Ikon
She begins her meeting by sucker-punching each member of the team one by one while noting their strengths and weakness as she decks each one. After the little met and greet is over they decide to talk and Ikon lets it be known she doesn't think this team has a chance in hell of working. With the exception of Ronan they're all so powerful they won't ever use their full force for fear of the destruction they would bring.
As they begin to realize they want to go their own ways, Cosmo interrupts with news that the Black Sun nebula home of the Black Sun aka power source of the Dire Wraiths is reporting unusual energy. When they arrive on the scene all they find are dead Space Knights and someone named Doctor Dredd (Doctor Dredd (Rom/Torpedo foe) a male Wraith warlock) who introduces himself by teleporting the Black Sun into orbit of the Space Knight homeworld and unleashing the Wraiths on the population.
