Ancient Aliens (program)

I was watching this program called Ancient Aliens & something occurred to me.

I noticed that most of the advanced civilizations they feature are people of color. As if those folks were incapable of producing such feats by themselves. It's almost like the show is trying to suggest anything that happened before europe's colonial push across the globe was impossible for those ancient cultures. As if the egyptians, africans, mayans didnt have any brains or capability.

some of these cultures pre-european colonization were quite advanced & lived quite well despite the eruopeans [as one historian put it] "hysterical" reaction to the idea of people who didnt look like them & the erroneous idea that anyone else outside of the europeans was uncivilized.

Has anyone else watched it? What do you think?

As someone who has actually seen maps that cut Egypt OUT OF AFRICA, I find it intriguing to hear from these people how awesome the stuff done at the time was. Then I lol at the suggestion that it must have been aliens doing it.

I find a lot of these ancient aliens interesting not for the content but just for mythology of it and lets be honest that's what they are modern day myths

I have never seen this program, never even heard of it. Sounds like a program I'd like because I love ancient civilizations.

They were quite advanced for the things they did and stuff. I'm always amazed by some of the stuff they did back then.

But I don't think it was aliens. I'm sure it's a surprise to nobody when I say this: I don't believe in [space] aliens.

I remember reading some articles with some wild theories about Aliens and ancient cultures, i have never taken theories that involves alien meddling seriously.

I do find alot of the ancient cultures to be interesting (how advanced they were) but what really interests me the most is old/ancient conflicts (im talking pre-guns and cannons)

Its like in ancient times when there were strange rock formations they would say thats where Hercules had a fight or something there, today they find weird rock formations where they say ancient civilizations made them they now say aliens did it or its a left over from Atlantis.

It's story and flight of fancy to explain natural events and human accomplishments
