An Ode to The Walking Dead (some potential spoilers)

One day I will do a Sunshine of the Eternally Spotless Mind and forget all about you The Walking Dead. I have come to hate you this season. I wasn't too fond of you before but your endless false starts and tempts and teases this season has turned our once amicable relationship into a sour one.

First you teased Glenn's death- when most everyone knew it not to be the case, but then you drag it out, and drag it out. Then you tout the second half we will be introduced to the Jeffrey Dean Morgan's Negan. It gave me hope anew. Thinking between he and Garrett Dillahunt the second half of the show would finally put some spark back in the relationship.

Now you tell me that Negan will not be introduced until the final episode. Great, I can really look forward to those last 60 seconds! Hot dog.

And as much as I hate you The Walking Dead, inexplicably, I cannot turn you off as such I hate you even more. So yes, here I will sit, Sunday nights, in our worn-out, burnt-out, relationship just waiting for some new spark... even if it only comes in the last 60 seconds.

The only thing that will make me watch another episode of this show is JDM. So maybe I will skip all the ones between now and the season finale.

I really tried to get into this show, but I just never could...it seems to move SO slow and I don't really like many of the characters at all. It just seems like sitting around and waiting for zombies and then running from zombies and then finding a place they think is safe, but it's not safe because spoiler alert: humans are way worse than zombies...I don't know I just can't get into it.
