All Things Macross

[Cat-Scratch]

Since Macross is one of my fav animes with bots plus with Macross Frontier being a month old, a thread should be due here on all things Macross.

Now to get the "Valkyrie flying"!
So far, my fav is Macross Plus, great mix of mech designs, characters, action and music.
My least liked is Macross II, some ok designs but rather ho-hum and too formula for me. Only thing from it that I really liked was the Valkyrie II.

So far Macross F is ok for me. I find it to be a nice mix of designs, animation and music. But it is sadly very formula and leaving me always thinking "I've seen this before", but it beats nothing. Pity the animation drops in quality at times, but then they all do at times.

To be honest i haven't seen Macross yet. I only watched Robotech and a few Macross movies.

Macross Plus is pretty good. I have the entire Robotech Saga, but haven't had time to watch it yet.

Gundam is better than Macross.

Gundam is better than Macross.

If you think I'll argue with that, you have a major think coming!

I was originally going to start a All Things Gundam Thread, but since we have to wait until the fall for season two of Gundam OO, I thought I'd wait and see how this one goes.

I admit here to all .........................

I just watched the 6th episode of Macross Frontier this afternoon, it's almost getting better or at least more interesting. The main story or should I say background story is now stepping up. We also learn a little bit about the Fold System.

Well in the latest episode we get to see the Macross Quarter in action.

Also, more on just whom the enemy is and it looks to me like another Macross 7.
