I enjoyed the first film immensely. Although, I've always wanted to write a script for the franchise. I would have it set in space. Like, in the original Predator for the opening scene, we see two ships separate. One for Earth and the other in space. The Alien saga's have all been in space. So, I think its only natural to have the setting in space. Plus, I would have reunited several cast mates from Predator, Alien, and AVP into one large movie lol.
I've been reading about the second film on another movie site. Unfortunately, I have slow - ass dial up so I can't check out the trailer until I return to work lol.
I'm pretty excited about this, I was excited when the first film came to the theaters lol. I had to see it then and I wanna see this film in December. Its release date though is December 21, 2007. Soooo close to Christmas lol.
I know AVP is a whole different franchise than Predator or Alien. Yet, in AVP, I was confused by the one scene. You know where the guy falls down that tunnel after the Predators attack? Seeing as Antarctica is hella cold, why could the Predators see him down in the tunnel? I thought they only saw through infra red? The guy looked to be freezing his ass off lol. That part I didn't quite get, despite their various vision modes.
This year really is full of sequels.
