Full scale of plastic in the world's oceans revealed for the first time

---------------------

This massive pile of plastic rubbish just floats around the oceans!? YUCK! w/ all the technology we now have, there has to be something we can do to get rid of it!

Fish & marine life are eating the plastic rubbish or getting caught up in it & so it's also causing problems for the food chain.

well OF COURSE that. currently only 5 % of the world's plastic is recycled. We have to do better on that end. But this massive pile of rubbish needs to be removed. Waste disposal policies from corporations to private citizens needs to be overhauled. I've changed my habits over the years. It might take a little extra time to sort trash for recycling & take it to a center...but I think its worth it.

Of course it's worth it, but people are lazy assholes
