Alright little thing i got from 4chan's /co/ board the game is pick a comic writer and list a pro and a con to them. It can be a writer you love or hate just keep it clean and "above the belt." to start off. . . . .
Love-
Grant Morrison:
Pros: Loves the idea of the classic superhero as much as he loves the idea of the modern anti-hero. Deconstruction of the genre, loving respect of it and harsh criticism of it in near-equal amounts. His stories are full of grand ideas.
Cons: The trippiness can sometimes be overwhelming to the point of confusion; sometimes (perhaps often) his dialogue seems a little stilted. Sometimes the ideas override the characterisation.

Pro: Insanely good storyteller. Considered "far out" by some but unafraid of testing the boundaries of established characters while still focusing on the history and mythos of the comics.
Con: Past drug use has forever labled him as a psychedelic loon whose intricate writing is dismissed as inpenetrable by those who've never heard of the Kabbalah and Jung.

Hate-
Brian Michael Bendis:
Pro: Has genuinely ambitious ideas and plans.
Con: Execution of these is lacking.

Pro: Great plotter on crime stories and street level superhero stuff like Ultimate Spider-Man.
Con: Average to bad plotter on science fiction, fantasy or normal superhero stuff.

Love Chris Claremont

Pros- the standard barerer of powerfull Marvel Women. He gave us character such as Phoenix III/Marvel Girl III, Psylocke, Madelynne Pryor and Storm. He created stories that have become the reference point for writers in marvel ever since. his work is classic, timeless and reads like you just bought it yesterday.

Cons- Exiles was a major disappointment. It fuels the suggestion that he's past his prime.

HATE Brian Michael Bendis

Pros- He brought back Spider Woman I and revamped her PERFECTLY for today. He's given Ms. Marvel back the spotlight she deserves.

Cons- he destroyed Marvel's quality with saturating it with "summer cross over events" that tend to SAG in relevance half way through. He's ruined one of the most established titles in Marvel, the Avengers and he has no respect for continuity.
