... (or drink) that other ppl think is weird?

I don't drink dairy milk anymore. I drink almond milk & many ppl think it's weird. I offer them a taste & they act like I'm offering them a glass of boiling acid or something lol.

I get alot of comments & questions anyway b/c I'm vegetarian. But the almond milk is something that seems to surprise alot of ppl.

I actually want to try almond milk, i have a recipe for it. Now i just need to find the will to start making it.

When i was a kid i used to eat blood sausage with syrup, and that actually tasted good back then, i can't say that i have been eating it much for the last 20 years or so.

Ooh I love blood sausage lol
I reject almond milk and soy milk until someone can show me the almond and soy titty.

On an actually serious note, to each his or her own. People seem to at times find it strange that I eat so much seafood.

Garrick, you fool! :roll2: go to your room! :p
Horse ain't bad at all.
I know lots of people who have eaten horse and thought it was beef.
Im not sure if i have tasted horse or not.
Frog legs on the other hand, well it tastes like chicken.

I :haha: @ all the reactions to almond milk. it's healthier & more digestable than dairy milk. read up on it! it has higher nutrional value. if you're gonna try it, i recommend the Silk brand, the vanilla flavored almond milk. it's easier to try that way. whatever you do, DON'T try the unsweetened kind...even *I* can't take that taste lol...its worse than chalk!

OMG Vil, have you actually EATEN rattlesnake!?

SiD, i've been reading/hearing about the horsemeat controversies in Europe. I can't imagine eating horsemeat :( nor would i ever eat dog or cat!!!

There's nothing wrong with horsemeat. I like it.
Here you can get it in thin slices that you put on your sandwich or similar.
Since some time back it's often replaced by beef though. But it's still available.

As a kid I often ate a Swedish version of Black Pudding. Made basically of Blood, Milk and Rye (I think).
It's actually not that bad. Should try it again sometime. Haven't had it in ages.

The horse meat scandal in Europe isn't so much that its horsemeat but that:

1). Horse meat has been found in processed meat products (not just beef, it hurt me deeply when they found horse meat in lamb kebabs) and products that should contain beef have horse meat instead.

2). We don't know what horses have been used. In UK ever since the foot and mouth (mad cow diesease) outbreak all farm animals that enter the human food chain have a passport so that we can track what abattoir the meat came from should their be another outbreak that could endanger human life. [Or something close to that].

AND whenever I think almond milk I think of almond oil, which is something I use to grease the soles of my feet so they don't look dry and crackly....

today taking over black communities "deep fried rattlesnake"

edit: I'll go put myself in the corner

Now i want to try rattlesnake, anyone got any tips of where a gentleman of my caliber might procure some meat of that sort?

I've had snake before [not sure if it was rattlesnake though]. Someone tricked me into eating it by telling me it was chicken...and it really DOES taste like chicken! lol.

I absolutely LOVE fried gator tail. It tastes and has the same consistency as calamari. Not many people where I live find it strange because I live in the south and it's pretty common, however people outside the south find it gross lol.

I would LOVE to try gator as well.
If it ain't poisonous why not? :p

A buddy of mine have tried alot of deep fried insects and spiders, not sure if i envy him those, but it would be cool, too atleast have tried it once.

oh actually i have eaten one strange good i had this Asian (i think it was Korean) snack which was like fired squid bits which was really tasty
