Heart Attack
I was just reading an article about a woman from MI who discovered that one of the pictures on the peopleatwalmart website was of her mom looking a hot mess. so now she's all pissed about it. that website was insane and yet it serves as a reminder that folk should take at least SOME care of their appearence when going out in public.
the article got me to thinking about how The net really DOES open the world up to you but some stuff is better off being left unknown I think.
People put all kinda shit on here....even their personal business...ALL of it in some cases and they think nothing of it.
What strange, crazy, ridiculous, wild, truly offensive, etc. shit have you seen on the net?
i think what opened the gates for me was when i stumbled across a message board back in 2005 that was entirely devoted to racism and hatred and the thread about people "needing to guard their homes/land against the coming n***** because hurricane katrina drove them out of their ghettos" and people were talking about guns, where to buy them, stock piling ammo, hiding their white daughters etc. it was CRAZY to me.
i know racists are everywhere and all that but it just never occured to ME that an entire message board could be devoted to this shit. it was jaw dropping for ME and yet as i read more of it, it became really stupid and ridiculous. these people REALLY believe the shit they say even in this day and age.
