Rise of the Machines [Full combat training]
First of all, I have to say that I'm very disappointed with the level of activity in this training session. I extended it from three days, to seven, and yet there was still only one active pair, Christian and Jex. I did specificaly say at the start of the thread that if you had no opponent, to PM me, yet nobody did. As such, I WILL be fining people - and I will also be more generous than I normally would to those who bothered to turn up and actually fight.
That said, I will move onto personal critiques.
Sweet Misery and Titus did not show - therefore, you will both be fined 1000 Gil. You had a week to turn up, and failed to do so. That seven days, in which neither of you checked this forum. Missing training a second time may result in DEMOTION.
Angelus Noctem - You got off to a promising start. I liked how you countered the banshee cry, and you used hypnosis effectively in your only battle post - although you could have done something far more deadly with that. Unfortunately, you dropped out after only two posts. As I know something of your circumstances, I will grant you 500 Gil for taking the time to turn up and post something.
Phoebe - I am aware that you had problems with fighting because Taryn stopped posting. HOWEVER, I did post offering to fight you, and two days later you still have not responded. I will comment on what I saw of you, which, again, is not much. You seemed to have at least made some effort. However, try to work on being as descriptive as you can, you could have said after the banshee cry exactly what effect it would have upon Taryn. But you used illusions to good effect. I would have liked to have seen more of you, however. I award you 900 Gil for turning up and making some effort.
jex_charmedUK - You were punctual, active, and you fought well. I saw you use a variety of offensive and defensive techniques such as weaponry, spells, general powers and species powers well and to their full effect, which really is what this session was all about. What I will question is whether or not you would have had time to cast a spell before getting bit - remember to post as realistically as possible. All in all, a good, enthusiastic performance.
Christian - You were also punctual and active. I liked to see that in your posts you seemed to strive to add extra detail, using a well developed roleplaying technique. It was alsways clear what you were trying to do. You used your powers well, and I noticed especially that your physical skills seemed solid and well described. I felt that even with the level difference, you put enough effort and creativity into it to stand up against Tobias, who was three levels higher than you. Excellent performance.
Something that I noticed all round was that people are not using their surroundings effectively. You had the wrecked remains of a city to use against your opponents, and I didn't see much, if any of that.
For activity and a good effort, Jex_CharmedUK and Christian will be both be awarded 2000 Gil and a bonus talisman each, which you can request from the Infernal Keep.

Oh My God!!!!! I must say I am very saddened by level of participation in this training. But I am pleased that I had no no-shows. There will be some fines and there will be awards, now then for the personal critiques:
Epiphany: Lee, I am sorry to have seen so little action of you, but because you took a leave of abscence. On that, I am displeased that you did not inform me personally like you are instructed to do. You could have easily PMed or IMed me to tell me. Also your one attack was well executed and saves you some gil. I am sad to be fining you 300 GIL for your sudden leave. Please be more active next time.
Dragolinas: Drag...Drag....Drag.... Okay you are also under the same penalty for leaving as Lee. You must alert me personally and not only post in the leaving thread. Also your one attack post was very disturbing. YOU CANNOT STOP A LEVEL 5 ATTACK WITH A LEVEL 1 SHIELD Also you could have done with a bit more description on your attack on Amy. While possible there was little detail to it and you could have done a combo while taking advantage of her now immobile state. You are being fined 750 GIL Please be more detailed and ready for training next time.
AmarisyFuller: Amy though your appearance was short lived it was worth-while. I am sorry I did not catch on that your opponent had taken leave and was not active sooner. However, your posts were well descriptive and effective. But your last post was a little much. Be careful not to overload your posts with attacks unless they are understandable combos. You are awarded 1000 GIL
Deadly Seduction: Alex I am more than blown away by this performance. You were stellar girl!!!!!!!!! I absolutly loved watching you fight and fighting you. I wish we had more time but seems we didn't. You are great with combos involving accessories and natural powers. You used your fire form to your advantage which is what we strive to do. Your character has spunk and attitude which is a great combo. You kept me on my toes which is what needs to be done to the GoLs. It is a shame that we never got further than we did, I was looking foreward to your response to my last attack

Rayden: Rayden I am very pleased with your performance in this training. You did a very good job though your performance was hindered by your slip up on the 24 hour rule but it turned out fine. Your character had great attitude and spunk. Perfect for annoying people into making a fatal mistake Very good attack after the paralyisis wore off. Also good use of your manipulation abilities to stop the TK spell You made good use of your new accessory. You tend to rely a lot of fire based powers. I know your a fire elemental but GoLs may come to expect them and have counters for them All around great performance and you are rewarded 1500 GIL
Axis: Axis you started off pretty good though a little slow and were good to alert me of the double attack. You did a very nice job on spell use to your advantage. All in all you did put up a good fight for your opponent but you could do with a bit more description and your participation could be a little higher. You are awarded 950 GIL
I was pleased to see that everyone used the ship to their advantage which is what I was majorly expecting so good job. We could also do with a little less OOC clutter
Now then, for great performances and good showing and activity.... Rayden will recieve a bonus enchantment and Deadly Seduction will recieve a bonus Talisman please make those requests in their respective threads

Opening Thoughts: Okay not a good performance at all, I was very saddened to see this training turn out as it did. I had assembled this group expecting to be impressed and I wasn't.
Personal Critiques:
Rachel: Rachel, you had a very good showing one of the few who were active and imaginative. You did rely on the Isis Power Wand a bit too much in the beggining but you saw that you were though Sati pointed it out for you Otherwise you used plenty of well rounded attacks, and utilized your talisman very well.
Sati: Pheebs, you are a great fighter and you did arrive on time and got to work immediatly. You kept Rachel on her toes and stood on your own two feet against her. You used your attributes very well though you tended to rely on your healer talisman, so please be careful in the future. Otherwise excellent job.

I'm pleased to see that activity in this round, while not as good as it could be and no doubt will continue to be, was at least consistant.
Jinxed, you PMed me and was excused from this session.
Titus --- Consistent effort from you. I liked how you seemed to be thinking strategically, which is definately important for an Agent to be able to do. Your attacks made good use of your powers. What I think you could improve on, however, is describing the effects of people's attacks on you a little more fully. Otherwise, good work on your part.
Desire --- Good, creative use of your surroundings. Similarly good use of the items that you possessed. I also liked the interaction between your character and Tamakin. If anything, I would say try to be as descriptive as you can. Not really much else I can say - good effort from you too.
Blacklight --- Power performance from you! I liked that you were consistently descriptive. Wonderful use of your surroundings and your weaponry. Impressive.
Tourniquet --- One thing that became apparent when I read your posts is that, although they are in the majority at least, descriptive... you should try to break up your sentences a little more. Because some of them are quite long, and you could break those into a few seperate sentences. While you managed to attack Devon well with your bare hands and / or weapons, and you definately did a good job of that, try in future to use your surroundings a little more -- there is always something there that can help you.
AmarisyFuller --- from your total of two battle posts, I can't really make many observations. However, since you did let me know of this as soon as I put up the summons, that is no fault of yours. What I did see was that you managed to turn Sati's attacks against her fairly well. What I didn't get much chance to see (and again, through no fault of your own) was your use of surroundings, offensive techniques, etc etc. Hopefully I'll get to see that in a later session.
